This was my first time needing a mammogram/U/S so I was a little apprehensive overall. When I…read morearrived there was a little bit of a wait and a lot of women in the lounge I thought it would take a long time but it didn't, surprisingly it went by very fast! The girl who checked me in was sweet and courteous. A special thank you to Esmeralda who conducted my mammogram, she walked me through the whole process and made my nerves calm down. She is absolutely great at what she does and really took the time for the right placement. Another thank you to Stephanie in ultrasound, sweet and very thorough. They gave me the options to wait for results or get a phone call which I appreciated. I felt very taken care of here at this location and I am recommending to every woman I know.

I began at Liberty Pacific in West Hills for my yearly mammogram. After waiting for an hour to be…read moreseen I was told I should have scheduled a diagnostic mammogram 6 months prior. They refused to see me unless a radiologist was on-site and scheduled an appointment a month out. When I called into their appointment center they moved my appointment to a sooner one at Breastlink Tarzana. Upon arrival and check in I was told my referral was not correct and to wait while they contacted my doctor. At no point in the process of scheduling any of these appointments did anyone mention needing a different referral than what I initially provided. Around 30 minutes later the receptionist let me know I was good to go. I was called back shortly after. I was put into a changing room and not provided a gown or instructions. I was able to go through drawers and find the gown to change into. After a long wait I was taken in for the mammogram and first part of my exam. The tech informed me she did not feel I needed a diagnostic mammogram. After explaining my situation up to this point she re-read my notes and said no, I did in fact need this test. However she was only going to take a couple images and not the full set. I then went to wait for an extended time as we were informed the radiologist was working remote and not responding with the needed targets. Eventually I was taken back for an ultrasound exam. The tech told me someone would call me with results in 1-2 hours. Later that afternoon I received a call from my physician stating she was not in contract with breastlink and would not be able to provide a referral. Had the receptionist communicated this I would not have proceeded with the exam. As an aside it is now 4 days from my exam and I have not received results. When I called to follow up I was told they were in the middle of hiring radiologist and my results would take up to 2 weeks to receive. I was surprised to hear this as the other facility insisted I needed my exam with a radiologist present. So now my urgent exam is on a multi week timeline with no explanation? I also asked about the fact that receptionist lied about having a referral. She told me not to worry as the max out of pocket is $448. That was not reassuring as this is a covered exam from my very expensive health insurance. Her demeanor was dismissive on both my concern on her staff inconsistent and incorrect statements. This whole experience was an absolute nightmare and I recommend finding another facility for your imaging needs.

I am sorry to say that I need to give Dr. Khagi one star and I'm only giving that because there is…read moreno option for 0 stars. I did a lot of research to find a hematologist for a second opinion and found Dr. Khagi. I had to wait 3 weeks to get in to see him. On the day of my appointment, his office called me while I was on my way... to cancel my appointment which made me extremely upset. I told the staff that I was still coming. I had given Dr. Khagi, medical records to review when I got there. Staff was very nice. When Dr. Khagi came into the room to meet me for the first time, he didn't want to get to know me or my history. He just started talking about the records I provided.. I was there to find out if his professional opinion was that I wouldn't get another DVT, PEs or both in the future and if I needed to go back on blood thinners as another doctor had wanted me to. He told me he didn't think I needed to be on blood thinners anymore and that was it. I did ask him a question and he made me feel stupid for even asking it. He disagreed with the previous doctor. He was with me for all of 10 minutes and that was it. I was extremely disappointed. After my visit the office sent me a survey about my visit and I was very honest and said just what I am saying here and the girl just wanted to make excuses for him and tried to get me to change my opinion. This made me even more upset. If you don't want people to be honest, don't send them a survey. When I went back and read Dr. Khagi's notes from my office visit, I noticed that he had written things that didn't occur in the office visit. He also said he was with me for 50 minutes which was absolutely not true. He was with me for 10.. 15 at the most. So, I wrote him and disagreed with him. I didn't expect any response but he did write me several times.. he actually spent more time responding to me in messages than he did in person. I thought he would run his own tests just to compare apples to apples with my other doctor but he said they weren't necessary but for a second opinion, I did expect he would want to be as completely thorough as possible given my dilemma. I won't be going back to Dr. Khagi. I've read all of these other nice reviews about Dr. Khagi like how he has a great bedside manner and how he took time with other patients but I just can't honestly say that given his attitude towards me in the office, the lack of time spent with me and in his responses to me in the portal.

A Clinician of Providential Skill, A Practice of Profound Contrast…read more My initial visit with Dr. Qasabian revealed a hematologist whose clinical insight and decisive approach represented a turning point in my care. After an exhaustive 21-month search through a sea of California's medical providers--a landscape often marked by dismissiveness and professional gaslighting--his precision in assessment and action inspired a hope I had nearly abandoned. During my first infusion, he contextualized my struggle with a narrative that was refreshingly separate from my own; it was the first time I felt understood by a medical professional rather than interrogated. As a patient with challenging venous access, I acknowledge the complexity this introduces. I extend my professional empathy to the clinical staff tasked with this endeavor. I have observed a cohesive and familiar dynamic among the long-term patients and staff, a rhythm built over the years. This established culture is a defining feature of the practice. Ultimately, my continued patronage is a testament to the singular value of Dr. Qasabian's medical expertise. In the calculus of my health, his rare acumen outweighs all other environmental variables.

Also happy that the practice is thriving. They recently went through a major remodel / expansion of their office space here in West Hills. Now they have more exam rooms to provide for patient care, plus a larger waiting room. The nurses and front office staff members are universally kind and caring in our experience. Arranging appointments is easy to do. They have a patient portal for accessing medical records / testing results. Dr. Shaye provides medical expertise in a manner that makes us feel confident in his advice. Our last check up went very well and I had a spring in my step when leaving the office. Between Dr. Shaye, Dolly, and the scheduler, we were well cared for in a timely fashion, even late in the day. I barely felt the blood draw and had zero bruising. Wow! I have been a patient of Dr. Armin S. Arasheben for approximately five years. When I first became…read morehis patient, I was very satisfied with his care. He was attentive, professional, followed up on my lab results, and made sure important primary-care matters were addressed. Unfortunately, my experience with the practice has gradually changed significantly. Over time, the office appears to have shifted away from the level of personal and professional medical care I initially received. Much of my care has been handled by nurse practitioners, and I have had several experiences that raised serious concerns for me regarding attention to detail and professionalism. On multiple occasions, incorrect prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy, and I was the one who noticed the errors. When I brought one of these incidents to Dr. Arasheben's attention, I did not feel that my concern was taken seriously or adequately addressed. Initially, I treated it as an isolated mistake, but over time I experienced additional issues that caused me to lose confidence in the practice. Most recently, when I asked about my overdue annual physical, I was told that it was my responsibility to keep track of when my annual examinations were due. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the level of care, I was essentially told that if I was unhappy, I could find another primary-care physician. After being a patient for five years, this was extremely disappointing. In my experience, the practice today feels much more focused on running and expanding a business than providing the attentive, disciplined primary care that I received when I first became a patient. Based on my recent experiences, particularly the repeated prescription errors and the response to my concerns, I can no longer recommend this practice as a primary-care provider.
