Stumbled across this place by accident when we were having dinner down the street, it was closed for the evening but we knew we had to stop in the next morning. Very cute little family run coffee shop, everything about it feels cozy and gives you that great "I could sit here for hours" coffee shop vibe. There are some free books in the hallway and a bookshop attached that add to that feeling. The outside sign was what caught my eye the night before, love it! There are also some local goods for sale near the register such as honey and honey products. I ended up buying a couple beeswax lips balms that I love. We ordered an iced latte and a New Orleans Iced Latte as the sign for it outside and inside intrigued me. Per the sign, it is an iced latte with chicory, sweet cream and cane sugar. It was really good, not overly sweet and the flavors melded nicely. I'll be getting it again next time we go. The staff was very friendly and quick. There was a pretty steady stream of customers, mostly with to go orders. The indoor seating area was closed off but they had a couple tables in the main room. We wanted to sit outside anyway on the lovely front porch. There was also more outdoor seating on the side. Definitely recommend stopping in if are near Lake Chautauqua, it's great! read more

In town from Texas, looking for something other than Tim Horton's and found this cute little coffee shop. Frozen mocha latte was so good. Blueberry muffin was really good. Not sure if homemade or not but it was good. Didn't ask the ladies name at the counter, but so friendly. If I'm in the area before I head back will definitely be back. read more

I love visiting local coffee shops and anywhere around my favorite lake, Chautauqua! So Ryders Cup is an obvious stop for me. I've been going for many years now and always try to stop at least once while my family vacations nearby. It's a great, convenient location right along the main drag in Lakewood, close to all of the walkable shops and near the lake and park. Parking is mostly on the street, but there are a couple slots and even space for bicyclists, I've seen many stop here on Inside used to be split into the coffee shop on one side and a bookstore that has since moved up the street on the other. There is a decent sized yet cozy seating area and a nice menu divided into hot or cold drinks. I'm an artist, and they were kind enough to let me display some of my work on the walls a few years back, it even lead to a sale. My go-to drink is usually a mocha, but I've also tried a few of the frozen drinks which can't be beat on a hot August day. read more

We discovered this local coffee shop when we were staying in Lakewood NY for a vacation. We ended up walking there every morning of our vacation and it was so incredibly worth it. Good coffee & lots of friendly people! Joyce was pleasant to chat with as got our drinks, along with some regular locals, while we stayed in the Airbnb upstairs. Glad to see they offered locally baked gluten free bars for me to enjoy while my wife enjoyed traditional biscotti. Lots of seating indoors and out. Have been coming here for a couple of years - great coffee drinks + goodies - and usually great service. UNFORTUNATELY, despite the reviews here about take-out during COVID-19, the coffee shop personnel do not and will not wear face masks or other protective gear. This is NOT OK. When I asked the gift shop person and the barista to put on masks, they just shrugged. We had to leave as we were not willing to expose ourselves to this flagrant disregard for others' health. SO excited to try the local coffee shop while staying at an airbnb in Lakewood for the month! We got up early and walked in to the coffee shop with our masks on of course. The customer talking with barista did not have a mask on nor did the barista...until she saw us. She quickly put on her mask and the other female worker came out from the back with no mask and did not apply one. No social distancing either. We walked out without ordering. This place was phenomenal and so incredibly cute inside! I went on a Friday morning with my husband and it wasn't too busy. The service was wonderful as the lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. They have a little area to sit on a couch or at a table with chairs. It is such a cozy feeling. They offer a big variety of drinks that can be made cold, hot or into a smoothie! They have lattes, coffee, iced coffee, teas, and more! The also have a good selection of baked goods, my husband ordered their blueberry muffin and it was like fresh out of the oven! It was extremely moist and delicious! I had ordered their peanut butter mocha smoothie and my husband ordered their iced coffee. We both loved what we got, and will probably be back tomorrow!! The prices were good, the atmosphere was wonderful; and they even have a little Airbnb upstairs. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to others! read more

I so wanted to LOVE this coffee shop. However, the iced coffee I ordered was completely disappointing. The staff seems very friendly and good-natured BUT they literally took a store bought jug of iced coffee out and poured it into a container. I believe it was not brewed on site. Maybe their specialty drinks like mocha, chocha something are more up their alley. Their baked good selection also looked disappointing. I grew up in Western NY and moved to VA 5 years ago. Ryders Cup is by far the thing I miss most about the area. Their drinks are incredible, and it just has that small town homey feel to it. I'll be back in the area next weekend and intend on making at least 2 stops a day there! They are my measuring stick that I use to judge all other coffee shops. Plus they are only a minute walk from the lake where you can go and relax and enjoy the view. read more
