    Meatball Special Honey BBQ Chicken

Picked up their #toogoodtogo surprise bag with four meatballs and some spicy honey bbq chicken! Heated up with microwave at home! Tastes really good! Friendly and welcoming store!

Picked up a "Too Good to Go" meal. It was macaroni with a couple of small pieces of sausage. Hardly any sauce or meat. Two donuts were included. Supposed to be $12 worth. Seems others had better experiences with meatballs and chicken from this establishment.

Hands down the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Greasy fried egg on greasy marble rye.

    Power Bowl

My husband picked up some prepared foods from Ryer's Store earlier this week. Everything we tried was delicious. Try the power bowl! Perfect healthy lunch to pack for a beach day.

Ryer's is the best! North Reading is blessed to have a truly local establishment like this. The food is great and the ambiance is truly classic. Great and prompt service, though can be very busy come lunch time. Specialty sandwiches both breakfast and lunch are off the rocker good!

Great place. We don't go often since we go to Stop and Shop but they have lunch options and prepared foods. Like it!

Good vibes. Quick service. Food quality was the main driver for the review. Surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. Kudo's to the people that are running this place.

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!

No matter when I go, this place is always hopping, so definitely make a reservation, especially for Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant is always is bustling, lots of laughter, people go here to celebrate and kick back. I always feel like a real housewife of Reading when I'm here (I mean that in a good way ). I love the arancini here, the flavors do change as a special. Entrees are excellent, never had a bad meal here, but food is definitely filling. The real star is the martini menu. These drinks will have you feeling no pain really quickly. The hardest part is just picking which martini to order! Wish they did flights!

Server came to the table fairly promptly, friendly but not super professional. Ordered some drinks and just chatted no pressure to order. Menu has good variety overall. Most ordered a mix of Italian fish dishes, I ordered the sea bass. I will wrap this up quickly by saying the food quality is like a 99 Restaurant not horrible but not great either. Prices were slightly above average and food quality was very average at best. We had a good evening because we had good company but my wife and I will not go back.

I mention every visit that they should put a name tag in front of each muffin to speed up the ordering... I must waste my time and more importantly their time answering my inquires... what is that one , what is that muffin ? Does that have raisins on it ? Nuts? Dog shit in it? or whatever ? Wtf Or why are out of certain muffins ? Any In the back on racks? Put a sign up displaying a simple check mark of available muffins? One visit the nasty one at Winchester told me they were out yet I saw the muffin on a rack not yet ready to put out front? So this was my first visit to this Wakefield location ... same issues and staff nasty here too but a bit better as more mature employee? I ordered 6 muffins and wanted 2 in a separate box as a gift to someone and the other 4 in a different box...she puts the two in a bag... A bag ruins the gift look, damages frosting in muffins... they will not put any less than muffins in a box? I'll pay for the dam extra box? Or maybe a smart owner would have a small 2 muffin box? Asked for Boston cream ... out of them .. same as last visit to Winchester location where they were out of many options... Maybe if popular statistically ... then you bake more of them based on POS sales data ? Maybe seasonality affects the daily production forecasts? Maybe offer July 4th red white blue muffins, Halloween frosting, Thanksgiving? Christmas ? Then generate greater sales, The owner should hire a better manager of both locations and stick a dam name tag in display case for each muffin, train all employees in hospitality and importance to retain repeat customers? Owner probably now just mailing it in or letting the off spring to take or already took over ? Maybe sell just sell it off to a interested owner looking to expand, or Improve offerings , add high end croissants, pastries, quality cookies ... coffee and better options? Whatever... 4 years telling every visit to just put a f'n name tag in front of each muffin-so I don't need to ask.. especially for gluten free, nut free allergies conscience people... how about an ingredients sign for each muffin ? Good muffins whose calling card for most is a layer of cream filling sandwiched in. -- Blueberry Muffin: Great crispness on the majestic overhang expansive enough to provide shelter from the rain. Nice subtle flavor that doesn't try to trick you with sugar, but it's lacking fat to make it sufficiently moist. Fruit seems frozen. No spheres with burst of juiciness. -- Gingerbread Muffin: More of a pumpkin spice flavor than full gingerbread. Similar characteristics in being a little dry, not being too sweet and having good crunch. The cream layer is a buttercream similar to white cake frosting, with maybe a hint of cream cheese. Good muffins worthy of the rotation, but I'd hesitate to say great. Beautiful to look at, though. Kudos to the team for moving the line efficiently.
