This place is a great spot for lunch, dinner, and takeout. Half of my visits are for lunch during the work week, a welcome respite from the hospital. The beef bulgogi is probably the best thing I've had here, but the chicken bulgogi isn't far behind. The beef bibimbop is good, but pales in comparison to Naked Chopsticks' version. My wife, a card-carrying vegetarian, enjoys the heck out of the tofu bulgogi. read more

First time trying this restaurant. Was an ok-ish experience. Had a nice ambiance and the woman working was kind. As a person who loves Korean food I was disappointed in the taste. I ordered the pork belly and it was dry and tough not very well heated either :( , not a savory flavor and I unfortunately could barley taste any spice in the kimchi. From the outside it might not seem like much but the food and service was exceptional. We ordered dumplings which tasted good and were served hot. For our entrees we go the bulgogi, kimchi, a salad, and several bibimpap. All were great. We travels here for a special occasion and wished we lived closer so we could eat here more often. read more

Really good food. You can taste the fresh ingredients. Beef bugogi? I know I probably butchered the spelling, was great. They give you a couple small sides. Kimchi was good, loved the dressing on the little side salad. My only complaint, I couldn't find the menu online. Made it difficult to order without going there. We discovered Ryu's Kitchen thanks to vegan restaurant week and what a gem! Our carry out order consisted of fried dumpling, tofu bulgogi, and vegetable rice noodles. All of the dishes were excellent! I love the flavor in the dumplings and the vegetable rice noodles had just a bit of crispiness that was very tasty! Always wanted to try this place and I def did not regret trying it out. Went here with my boyfriend on a weekday for lunch. Inside was a cute little place. Not too decorative yet cute and simple. We were greeted and got our seats right away. The menu didn't have that many selections but that's okay with me! Large menus tend to make my decisions harder lol. I ended up ordering the seafood tofu... it was delicious. There was a lot of seafood and it was the perfect size for me. I wish it came out in a clay pot like other Korean places :(. My bf got the beef bulgogi. He thought it was good but it was part of the lunch so there wasn't that much meat for him. He said he'll def try something else next time. Something that I would love for them to have would be side dishes...! I love Korean side dishes.. they're the best! Will we come back? Definitely! Haven't had Korean before, so this was a bit outside my comfort zone. The beef bulgogi is outstanding. Extremely flavorful. I literally had to consciously stop and take a break from attacking it. The spicy kimchi pork was excellent. The small side dishes were a nice flavorful assortment of sesame salad (delicious dressing!), a chicken dumpling, and a bit of kimchi. Service was friendly and location seems safe. Price seems a tad high but still reasonable for location and portion. Wanted to try this place out, so stopped in for lunch. Located on Hobson Rd, in Big Ricks old place. Limited menu for lunch, I opted for the Kimchi Pork, the wife the Chili Chicken. Both meals were good, but a little on the "safe" side when it comes to Korean food. My pork had an almost sweet flavor (and not a lot of kimchi), the wifes chicken was basically lightly breaded chicken nuggets with a chili dipping sauce on the side. Made for a nice light lunch, but certainly not cutting edge Korean. The wife did love her plum tea. No alcohol served. Food was served quickly. Our server was fantastic, very friendly, but not overbearing. The young Korean chef also stopped by to make sure everything was okay. Will return soon to try the dinner menu, which looked much more interesting. As it stands, we enjoyed our lunchtime meal there. read more

The price was a very reasonable $7.99 plus the tea, and the lone server was attentive and friendly. The rice was sticky and perfect. The Spicy Kimchi Pork I had was SUPER spicy and the meat in both dishes was very fatty. My friend ordered some buckwheat tea that had leaves floating in it...most likely buckwheat, lol.
