Dwight was unbelievable when a tire on my relative's truck exploded. I was stuck on the 202 about 20 miles from home with an important Zoom call in about 90 minutes. I called S and D and he initially said 20 minutes and I mentioned I was in a hurry and he got there in 10. He scooped up the truck incredibly fast and I even had to change drop off destinations mid-trip. No issue! He took it to my relatives home and parked neatly in a small spot without a hiccup. I needed a tow early this morning (6 AM) and S&D responded quickly, were onsite within 30 minutes and quickly had me hooked up and towed to where I needed to take my vehicle. Had to use S & D today to help a friend and they did an excellent job. Obviously it's never fun to "need" a tow truck in the first place. The driver was Dwight earlier than they estimated and was a super nice guy, can't say enough about these guys, especially when compared to another tow company in town I've used in the past. Anyways, I hope you don't need a tow truck but if you do give these guys a shot, they treated me well and were priced reasonable. Outstanding service from Mickey. My car started making weird noises, and fearing it was a differential about to die, I called roadside service, to have someone come out and tell me whether or not it was safe to drive. He determined that it was the rear brakes needing replacement (absolutely correct) and I didn't need a tow. Cost me an extra $100.00 to move the vehicle they moved and dropped for me because he didn't call to ask. Great prices though. Instead of doing the right thing and saying sorry. It has been a year since trying to get reimbursed for my windshield their driver broke. Dwight hasn't responded to my emails or calls since last October. He owes me $350. Last November he said he would repay but was having trouble and needed to pay me 2 payments of 100 and 1 for $150 over the course of 3 weeks in order to repay. They are simply amazing. From this point on i will call them ONLY. Pamela was kind and worked hard to get road side assistance to approve what i needed. Mickey got to me in less then half the time i was quoted. After waiting 4 hours for other companies to show up that roadside assistance sent, they were there for me and kiddos. It took my insurance roadside assistance company almost 4 hours and several "oops" we lost the order, your truck had to help the police, etc. but they finally actually called someone to help and S & D came to my rescue. I had a non-emergency tow that AAA was unwilling to help me with. I found myself hitting up google for a cheap tow. Google led me to a yelp search, which I didn't even know existed. It does and it is very helpful. You can send out a message on yelp and if will pick the company you checked out plus three more. Immediately I got a response from S and D. I was impressed with their quote. Within the hour the other companies Yelp contacted got back to me but couldn't touch S and D's price. The communication was terrific. I had to contact Pamela back a couple times updating her about where the car needed to be picked up and the contact person for the driver. Pamela even called me back letting me know when the driver got the car and he was on his way. I knew the driver had to probably deal with some BS picking up the car so I gave him $10 for his trouble. The total with that tip was still less than the their competitor's lowest price. Service A+ Price A+ Time A+ I don't need a tow very often but S and D is now in my phone's contacts. read more
