I would give this company zero starts if it was possible. My PM hired them to do an imperfect smooth finish on my dry wall and bullnose the corners. Chris did not honor the quote that he bid the job for and refused to come finish the work or refund us for the work not done. His bid included my great room which they started and we asked them to hold off on because the electrician had to put additional can lights in. Once the rough inspection passed we asked him to come back and finish the work and he said they were done. Not only did they not finish the quoted job, while his guys were working there they were drinking on the job and left beer bottles in my vacant house. The imperfect smooth also had lots of bubbles and had to be touched up. Dishonest and unprofessional. Do not use. read more

They did a beautiful job repairing a crack we had in the ceiling. It looks great! Price was fair and worker was polite and on time. Only complaint is maybe let the customer know how long the job will take. We started at 9am and didn't finish until like 1230pm. I understand it takes time to dry in between steps, but I thought a small crack would be faster. I had to pick up my daughter from school so I was pressed for time. Other than that, no issues. The estimator was supposed to contact me. After several contacts with the office he finally did call. It was a Thursday. I called Chris from S&G Drywall to get an estimate on removing a 6'x4' window from my dining room, and replacing it with drywall. They had done a small job for me before that turned out great, so I definitely wanted to use them again. The quote was extremely reasonable, and my hope was the replacement wall would look like it had always been there. Chris, and his crew were so accommodating. Rolando and Diego came out, prepped my whole DR by covering the floors, and draping tarps from the ceiling to keep any dust confined. They carefully removed the window without any damage to the baseboard directly underneath it. Then they framed it, added insulation, and the drywall. Luis came out to do the texturing, and matched the texture to the the existing walls perfectly. Jesus came out after the wall dried, and did a beautiful job painting. Rolando came back the next day with a perfect piece of molding, that matched the existing, to go across the top of the baseboard where the window had been. These guys are extremely talented, and worked like it was their home. They each cleaned up after their part of the job. A HUGE THANK YOU to Chris, and your AMAZING CREW!!! Ed's crew was pretty booked but he personally came to supervise my job to make sure I didn't have to wait since there was water in the drywall and insulation waiting to be removed. I needed a small piece of ceiling drywall replaced in a hurry as I had insolation scheduled to be blown in my attic the next day, EZ job, not much time involved, I didn't even want texturing done, piece of cake, not much money to be made, yet Silva treated me like an important customer and furthermore, made arrangements to send a worker over early the next morning (actually showed up even 5 minutes early). The office estimated the job would take about 90 minutes and sure enough, there were right practically down to the minute. The job I needed done was not huge. 1960s kitchen had soffit around entire kitchen and eating area. When removed, it was clear that all the walls and the ceiling needed to be uniform. Additionally, new recessed lighting had gone in and there were small holes all over our ceiling. Hence, needed new walls and ceiling, in essence. I entertained several bids and chose Silva and Gonzalez Drywall based on Ed Silva's fair bid and professionalism in inspecting my job and presenting the bid. Once the job began, I was very pleased with the quality of work and the work standard exhibited by the two workmen who were in our home. One man came to patch some holes due to an intercom system in the wall that was removed and, once his part was finished, he handed over the job to his colleague who was here all or part of 4 days to carefully and thoroughly prep then apply "mud" to our walls to even them all out. I found this 2nd workman, in particular, to be super nice and very respectful of our home. Partner, Chris Gonzalez, came by to look at our job as it was nearing its conclusion and I really liked his vibe and the interaction I had with him.
