This company has sadly dissapointed me as a paying customer in their failure to honor their "warranty" for their paint. Contacted the owner himself who came to my home who looks at the house and tries to tell me its just dirty and I need a power wash. I showed him photos from other points of views with high def cameras on HD zoom and he still proceeds to tell me its dirt and that I basically am seeing things. Expressed to him how all i needed was a touchup considering we hired them to paint a house that was well over 2400 sqft with a warranty to which he basically said no, and would charge regular price for a power wash and touchup, but hed take good care of me. Complete used car salesman vibe completed at this point. This warranty isnt worth its weight in toilet paper at this point. Photos attached, you tell me if this looks like natural fading or paint failure. Hired another paint company to do the touchups who agreed that they could even see where their brushes were weak or where the paint didnt adhere. The support staff of this company was great in 2021 during the pandemic, super respectful and professional, but from what people have told me, those people are long gone because of owner. I called Paintrite Pros main number to discuss a large paint project I was wanting a bid for. I got their voicemail and the mailbox was full. I sent a text message and heard back via text a while later. When I called back to discuss the project, the owner Chris picked up. He was very short and it seemed like I was inconvenience to his day. Sad that I received this type of support from the owner, especially since I had worked with the company 6-7 years ago in a large project and his employees had given much better customer service than him. Two years later and we are touching up our interior paint ourselves and we are angry all over again at the terrible unfinished job this company did when we moved in two years ago. I'm sitting here looking at paint on doorknobs, mirrors, and thin layers that don't give durable or adequate coverage, in addition to baseboards that were never touched up after installation because of this company's scheduling problems. I'm still mad about it. Hiring them is my biggest regret financially and otherwise. Theresa was awesome, she felt like the glue that was holding the business together, so if she still works for them I hope things have improved for her. They were the most competitive quote and told us the entire home could be done in 3 days and it was! The blue walls in the large living room needed another can of paint as they stretched the first one. You could still see the old paint through it. They came back the following day to finish and do touch ups. A few days later I saw some spots that they missed, so I called and they scheduled a worker to come up and touch up. I am extremely happy with the work that was done to my house and for a great price compared to others. I live in north Stockton and they came from Elk Grove for me. Day 1 they power washed the entire exterior of my house. Day 2 they sanded and caulked holes, masked windows and anything I didn't want painted, and start painting. Day 3 they completed everything. They painted the sidings of my house, garage, chimney, the side of the garage door, trim, and gutters. The quality of work was great! My first home, and first expensive lesson. After having to hear disgruntled employees complian about their compensation, having to clean up food left in the backyard including Pork Chop bone left out my dog could have choked on. New garage doors were sealed shut from the paint causing the garage motor to struggle and pull the garage door off track. I do not recommend this company. Hawkins did amazing work on window Installation. They coming back to clean up the bad caulking work and reseal the windows. Sacgarage doors fast and professional, even came and added lubricant to the doors after they were sealed shut. Those two companies highly recommend. Can't say the same for Paintrite. I have now learned it's a good idea to pay a friend who isn't afraid of heights to come during the inspection.. read more

There was confusion on who was the point person my partner or I, because I was the first person he texted. I literally just got off work and had two messages from him asking where to email a quote. Got the hard sell and went with Paintrite Pros which was the higher end quote. Wish we wouldn't have. Sloppy work to say the least. I had to call them back to do touch-up. The overspray from painting the house got on the trim, it's still there after the touch-up. Our door was painted a dark gray, the paint bled onto the white interior. When I asked about the white trim of my house bleeding onto the base color Chris said it was impossible to get straight lines with stucco. My neighbors house was painted right before ours. They have stucco and zero bleeding. I regret not using who they did. The person that showed-up to give us an estimate literally talked me out of using them, claiming Paintrite has to correct their mistakes all the time. We now have paint chipping on our porch beams and can't get a call back after four attempts. The job was done August 2020, not even a year has passed. We are so frustrated. I found these guys through using the quote request through Yelp, I received Communications from about eight different companies but finalized with Paintrite because of their professionalism and other positive Yelp reviews. Bryan was my initial contact for the estimate, I was very pleased with his great attitude, professionalism and down to earth demeanor. He obviously exhibited a great knowledge of painting and a sincere interest in my job (paint job for a new fence). Paintrite is a very buttoned-up company, with professional looking materials and an office gal that always answers the phone. I appreciate the professionalism and it gave me confidence that they would do a gr7eat job for me. The quote I got from paint right was very competitive, I couldn't believe how much some of these other guys are charging out there, so I felt very comfortable moving forward. The gentleman who did the painting is named Armando, he was extremely professional, friendly and hard-working. He took his time and did a great job of painting the fence, the prep work was very thorough and there was no drops of paint scattered anywhere and he was very meticulous. We had our entire interior house painted, including baseboards and doors. Overall we are happy with the finished job. Salvador was the crew foreman and checked on them often. Hector was easy to communicate with and took pride in his work. Once we started putting furniture back, etc we noticed a few paint drips on our floors paint on laundry machines and switch plate covers. Apparently we had a new employee on our crew that we felt was "sloppy" as paint mistakes were found where he was working. Someone also placed a water bottle on a dresser-this should not happen. I would recommend this company but I feel newer employees should be more closely supervised and/or trained better. read more

My biggest regret is hiring this company. They are overbooked and understaffed. With multiple teams, you don't know who will be coming to paint your house. It will likely be a couple of new hires with zero painting experience, like in my case. Management knows about the sh!tshow and will do whatever they can to avoid your calls. Contracted to paint 1000 square foot interior for $9000 which they said would take a week. After 4 days they had 1 small office (6x12) completed They delayed our start date a whole month and now say it will take 2 weeks instead of one! Well of course it will take longer because they only sent one person out at a time , not even a small crew! One of the painters gets winded climbing a ladder (14 foot ceilings) so how are they going to move furniture as promised with one person. When they sent a second painter the painters have big arguments in my home about Whos doing what and what comes next. At the end of the day they drop their tools all over the house and they leave our home in shambles overnight, including leaving tools and supplies on soft furniture. They are in all parts of the house at the same time instead of finishing something and moving on to the next room. Am I in the wrong zip code to expect decent service? Who does this to customers? In addition they dumped paint all over the front yard garden! In what world do people think that's ok?! Paint on the ground is visible right out in front where where guests can see it as they pull up to the front door! It's a huge patch of paint! The day they said they would do the mbr they didn't finish. Threw stuff on our bed, broke the blinds, left all the furniture in the middle of the room. Instead of finishing the mbr they left it half done and moved to the mbr where they again tore everything apart, did not finish, left all the lights and windows open (100+ today). So instead of being done in mbr. Two more rooms are torn apart, unfinished, and our property mistreated. Now 2 painters have 6 rooms unfinished.... It's a total shit show. Today I had to pee outside in the garden because both bathrooms are occupied with painters; I dare not disturb them or they will never be out of my house. Reply to this post from the owner is about looking good to the Yelp community. If he really wanted to help he would talk to his people and maybe pick up the phone to call us. Good Service is about doing things right the first time not about waiting for the customers to complain; service is proactive no reactive. COVID can perhaps justify the initial delay but is NOT an excuse for this quality of service! Update: went to use the water hose a week after they left but the faucet was wrapped up in duct tape..... take the tape off and water starts running all over..... they broke the faucet and didn't tell us! We used them once before and it was a good experience but this kind of service is unprofessional.... you get what you deserve if you call these people after this warning. read more

You will have painters arrive to your house, start the job and leave midday due to the owners decision on how to execute jobs for the week. I had an exterior paint job done on my 2-story house a few months ago. This company is not the cheapest bid, but if you want great customer service & quality work, PaintRite Pros is it! From the beginning, Bryan Perez, our estimator, was very professional & answered all my questions. Did his best to fit us into a very busy job schedule. The crew back at the office, Tia & Ruby, were great working with me. I had to re-schedule several times because we were getting other exterior work done on hour home before painting. Always nice & professional! The young man (which I can not remember his name) who came out to power-wash my house before painting was very well-mannered, hard-working, & professional. I later found out, he was the company owner's son. Wonderful, young man who did a very good job! Then, there was Elijah (crew leader). Great guy! He made sure the job went well.
