I first met Sung and Jamie at their studio in Daly City. We booked them on the spot. It was clear they were extremely talented and yet reasonably priced without all the hype of some of the bigger named photography studios. I was referred by a friend who is a stylist for photo shoots so they came highly recommended. I didn't really know what to expect to be honest. I thought they were good based on the photos on their website and from talking to them they seemed to know their technical stuff well. My dad who is an avid amateur photographer even tested their technical knowledge and they passed with flying colors. Before our wedding day, Sung came to meet us at the hotel to confirm the details and timeline. We also walked around looking at the location to identify spots where we wanted to capture special moments, etc. I think that was really important to help familiarize him with the property and to get both parties in agreement/synch of what they wanted to achieve. Their style is creative and arty and they are good at capturing very artistic and memorable looks. On our wedding day Sung and Jamie both arrived with a third helper. They were dressed in black and like little ninjas in the background. They were moving directing us and extremely efficient. Their English is not perfect so I think there may be some stuff lost in translation but I don't care, especially when everything worked out fine and the product was of such high quality. Their photos were truly stunning. You could tell a lot of time and energy went into perfecting each photo and I was extremely satisfied with the final product. They provide a gallery that you can access and the original photos. Some places charge you an arm and a leg for that. They didn't try to sell me on those ridiculous books either but when I have kids and I want to take family photos or when my sister gets married, they will be my first call. We used S&J (aka SugarBaby) to document our daughter's first birthday party as well as to shoot some pictures in their studio prior to the party. Jaime and Stanley exhibited incredible patience and professionalism during the studio session and Jaime's photojournalistic coverage of the birthday party produced pictures that were beyond our already-high expectations. We liked them so much that we actually "gifted" their services for our friends' civil marriage ceremony just a couple of weeks after the birthday. One of the things that struck me during their coverage of the ceremony was their dedication to getting all the shots that the happy couple wanted, even if it meant going a few minutes over the allotted time. I should note that, although they have shot many civil ceremonies at SF City Hall, they still got there well in advance to ensure that they were ready to go when the couple arrived. When we first started wedding planning, all our married friends told us how important it is to find the right photographer. When my husband and I started planning our wedding this year, we knew right away we wanted to used S&J photography. My husband was in a friend's wedding a year ago and he felt really comfortable with the photographer and it's very important to us, to used someone who's reasonable in price and yet have that level of comfort. We also looked through the album they did for our friends and was amazed how beautiful the bride and groom was and how they captured every happy moments. Do you know how difficult it is to find a great talented photographer? You probably do if you are reading this. I was preparing our son's first birthday for 3 months. And finding a great photographer to capture all my work AND once in a life time memories was a big deal. And I found them! S&J Photos creation!! Both recommendations were excellent and I could not have picked any better. Jaimie and Tedd took great photos. She is friendly and intuitive -- after briefly explaining the kind of shots I wanted she understood it right away (that's not as easy as it sounds...think about the different brides she works with who have different styles). I never even had to follow up with anything, because she was always on top of things. S and J Photo Creation was amazing to work with and the photos are remarkable! S and J captured my daughter's first birthday. We did a studio session and they also came to my daughter's first birthday party. They did a beautiful job with both! The studio photos had adorable backgrounds (several different little vignettes) and even though I brought many different outfits, they selected which outfits would go well with the varoius settings and just did an amazing job!! They photos came out SO beautifully. They did a great job working with my daughter and trying to get her to smile and laugh! During the initial consultation with Jamie, she showed us many samples of their work and took detailed notes on what kind of style we wanted for our wedding photos. Tedd was our photographer, and met with us a few days before to do a walkthrough of the venue and decide where we would take our first look, group shots, etc. On the day of, Tedd arrived early and was able to direct and position everyone to look their best. We relied on his expertise for posing as we are not very comfortable in front of the camera. Unfortunately we didn't get every shot we wanted due to some disorganization on our part, though Tedd did his best. I had my E-Session & Wedding photo taken by SJ photo creation and it couldn't have been better! There's absolutely no question about how good they are and I can't explain how helpful they were throughout the wedding preparation. Jamie has immense knowledge when it comes to wedding, and she's been always helpful. I think she has the whole lists of vendors pretty much about everything that has to do with wedding. I've seen my friends' photos taken by other photographers, but I just had to say that SJ is the best. The package came with spoiler or preview of the shots on FB, uploaded shots on website where you can access by logging in, and the CD of all the shots.
