Sam is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about watches. You can immediately tell he's a true watch guy who really knows his stuff. The entire staff at Devons has always been great to talk with and welcoming, especially if you enjoy watches and the hobby in general, but Sam is the man. He made both purchases enjoyable, answered every question, and never made the process feel pressured. If you're looking for a luxury watch and want to work with someone who truly understands the products and cares about the customer experience, I highly recommend Sam and the team at Devons Jewelers.

There's not enough good things I can say about finding Oscar…read more My wife and I are finally getting to the place in life when we can build a watch and jewelry collection that reflect our shared loves and lives together. We absolutely hit a jackpot finding Oscar. He's patient, detailed, informed and very thorough. Just a great guy all around. He cares genuinely about our life experiences and the goals we have in mind to reflect that. It never feels like he's trying to just guide us to a purchase. He's got an incredible eye and sense of design. Our experience having him guide us through creating a custom ring was unbelievably personal and meaningful to us. We're an eclectic couple and i think most people would see us and see something on the outside that doesn't always reflect what's on the inside. Oscar took the time to get to know us and see who we really are. That's pretty special.

I was initially quoted a thinner, lighter pendant. When I said I wanted something more substantial, Adam offered two upgrades: 2.5mm at approximately 13.5 grams, or 3mm at approximately 15.5 grams. I chose the 3mm option. At pickup I asked how much it weighed. Instead of being shown a scale, I was told to hold it and feel the weight. After I pressed the question, I was told that he thought it came in around 14.1 grams. When I weighed it at home, it came out to 12.75 grams -- below even the lighter option I'd passed on. When I raised the difference, I was told that some gold is lost during casting and finishing. I did not believe this response was adequate for nearly 3 grams of missing gold. Just something to keep in mind if you're ordering custom gold work and weight is part of what you're paying for. Update: In his response, Adam states that "we never talked about the weight until you asked" and "we do not sell custom-designed pieces by weight." I have a text message from Adam dated February 24 that reads: "If we make the pendant 2.5mm thick the price will be $2495. The weight will be Approximately 13.5 grams. If we make it 3.0mm the weight will be approximately 15.5 grams and the cost will be $$2695. Please let me know what you will decide." A screenshot of this text is attached. He also offered a $100 refund which I have not received.

I had the most wonderful experience working with Nicholas at Kenny G Jewelers at the roseville…read morelocation in the Fountains shopping center!!! My husband wanted to give me a ring upgrade for our wedding anniversary, and it was so fun and exciting to shop around and daydream about what I might want. I visited multiple jewelry stores, spoke with many sales associates, and spent a lot of time researching pricing, quality, and available options. Needless to say, I met a lot of jewelers throughout that process, but when I met Nicholas at Kenny G, his warm, inviting, patient, and completely no-pressure approach immediately stood out to me. Of course, I was interested in the beautiful jewelry and the knowledge he shared, but what truly captivated me was the level of customer service he provided. I actually took a picture of his business card and kept it in the back of my mind. After careful thought, I realized he was absolutely the person I wanted to work with to create this ring. I must admit, I can be a bit indecisive. I went back and forth a few times and made several changes regarding what I was looking for. Throughout the entire process, Nicholas remained patient, accommodating, and incredibly detail-oriented. He never once made me feel rushed or as if he was frustrated with my indecisiveness. I genuinely felt that he cared about my experience from start to finish. I'm so excited because I truly feel like I found my forever jeweler which feels good to have a "go to" person I trust. As long as Nicholas is there, he will continue to have my business because the customer service he provides is amazing. Not only was my experience with Nicholas a 10/10, but the product itself was also a 10/10. I did a tremendous amount of research both online and in person, and the pricing was absolutely beyond fair for the quality. I am thrilled with the ring I ended up with, the value I received, and the overall experience. I could truly go on and on about how wonderful this experience was. I would 1000% recommend Nicholas at Kenny G. Everyone I interacted with there was pleasant and professional, so I highly recommend Kenny G in general. But if you have the opportunity to work with Nicholas specifically, you will not be disappointed. He is a family man, patient, accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping you find or create the perfect jewelry piece to become a treasured heirloom for years to come. For the record I wanted a solitaire 2.5ish elongated cushion ring and I provided photos of what I got. Hope this information helps your search of finding the perfect jeweler!

First of all, I understand your frustration, but what I don't understand is how you generalized me…read moreinto a category of people who "modify" watches in a condescending way while just raising your voice the entire conversation. Raimond, please learn to be humble, respect your dad, and also learn how to treat/respect your customers. Heads up to anyone bringing an expensive watch or a lower priced watch to this shop, Raimond the son will not care if he leaves dust in your watch and just blame it on manufacturing defects as an excuse of his lack of craftsmanship. Also, I didn't even notice the scratch you left on my watch from swapping the glass and this plus that whole situation that happened is why I am leaving a one star. You are not competent to be repairing watches if you can't swap a crystal without leaving dust in the watch and scratching the watch in the process. I brought in my new Seiko watch that I had purchased weeks prior to changing out the crystal. Paul the shop owner said it would be $40 and to give them a couple of days. The job was done hours later on the same day, but I picked it up days later. On arrival I inspected the watch in the shop for any dust and there was a lot. I gave it back to Raimond who had said his father Paul had swapped the glass and that he himself would remove the dust. I came back days later after it was done and I again inspected it. There was still a lot of dust so I told Raimond about it and this is where he got heated and started raising his voice blaming the quality of the watch and sapphire glass. He said "all you Seiko people who want to modify your watches always have something to say when you get your watches back. Of course you will see dust when looking at it under a macro lens". (I was looking at it with my bare eyes in the shop) I calmly talked to him telling him that it is not the watch face or crystal because before bringing it here it was brand new, I inspected it when I purchased it and it had never been opened before. He goes on yelling on how he got into an argument with his dad on how his dad who swapped the crystal first should have done a better job. He then brought up how some Rolex have defects and that my watch since it is a Seiko, is guaranteed that it will have defects. He kept going on about how it was not dust and it was the watch face or the crystal. This entire time his father Paul is sitting next to me while his son is yelling and I was not trying to argue with this man in front of his dad who is a lot older. I felt sorry for Paul and how his son Raimond handled this situation. Eventually we did not get anywhere, Raimond said he would not open it back up because he was set on that it was manufacturing defects on the watch face or crystal. For future customers hopefully this review is a warning on how Raimond treats his customers. Paul seemed like a cool guy when I met him on the first day that I dropped off my watch. Raimond, if you don't have the skill to do a job like this just tell me and I will take it to another watch shop instead of yelling at me and blaming it on manufacturing defects on the watch or crystal. Just own up to your mistakes like a grown man that you are and don't act like a child throwing a tantrum.

A machinist & single, considering such an expensive watch must have taken him a long time to earn the cash to purchase such a beautiful time piece. He only wore it for special occasions. It is in excellent condition. Not a scratch on the watch crystal (face). The wind up stem broke about 6 months ago. I was devastated. Who could I trust to fix my dad's watch? The answer, Paul's Watch repair in Sacramento! 100 miles from Chico! A multi-generational watch repair business going back over 125 years in Romania and then brought over to the US where the family business has been located in the Sacramento area since 1989! Please read their history on their webpage. The watch wind up stem was replaced within a week and my dad's watch is good as new! The service provided to me by Paul Jr. was professional, courteous and this senior gentleman a few years older than myself, was kind and informative. BTW: We both look much younger than our ages! Paul patiently explained the mechanism of my watch that needed to be repaired. He also shared with me his knowledge of how to maintain the operation of a watch that has no battery or wind up stem. It continues to operate with motion. I have two of these watches. All while continuing to work on a repair of one of many watches they fix daily. Many arrive from other US states! I also met his son Raimond, who was busy in the back on watch projects. If you have a watch repair or would like an education or suggestions regarding your watch or watches in general, research no further! Take a drive to Paul's Watch Repair or mail your precious time piece to their business location for repair. You will not be disappointed! The cost for the repair of my Dad's watch was reasonable and they replace watch batteries while you wait, maybe 5 minutes!
