Not surprisingly, I preferred the thick creaminess of the one made with soft serve. And my wife preferred the one made from hand scooped ice cream, which was a bit milkier in texture, but oh so refreshing. They added just the right amount of malted milk and both shakes were delicious. This is a classic ice cream shop. Excellent outdoor seating, very cute inside. And many local young folk working hard.
