Ok so this garage is a scam, i had them do all my repairs on my 2005 silverado and 2010 jeep commander, they replaced my jeeps motor, after saying i would get a rebuild from a company they said they could get the whole thing for $200 less, now im thinking ok now i dont have to pay to have all th parts moved over make it cheaper then buying a block and heads from reman company, nope they got exactly what i was going to get but only used with 100k miles on it, and i had to pay out for new starter which mine worked fine, and new water pump, again worked fine. i figured they had to cos of warranty for the motor, nope. so my $5200 quote to do what i wanted turned into a 100k motor used and untested and total was $7000 instead. we wont go into all teh breaks and other repairs they claim to have done and charged me for on this and the truck, well stick with motor, now i have had constant issues with jeep they replaced my alternator for free cos they had a used one to put on since i paid out the ass for the engine they scammed me on to be "nice" hahahaha. so anyway long story short still having problems over a year later, moved to pittsburgh area got a family trust mechanic shop to look at it, #1 most of the bolt from tranny to motor missing why i was always having a jump when shiting into gear, the flywheel cover plate and all the bolts for that missing, i had them go over leaks s&s claimed they did i had them go over the whole jeep, so far i spent another $3k fixing the issues they caused or claimed to h ave fixed, so for a $5200 quote to $10 grand so far and im still not done. im pretty sure most his regualrs might get good treatment cos they give good reveiws but they really are lazy garbage men pretending to be auto workers. i left a reveiw once so this is an updated to that one to things that have been found they screwed up and or didnt do, and the fact im still trying to work out all the little kinks they caused, oh fyi they yanked on my ac lines and causes a leak in my coolant system on the lines going to rear ac and never put a gasket on the ac connection on compresor they yanked out to replace motor let alone never tried to charge the ac system which worked perfect before they got it. i miss my ice box ac in the jeep after they gave it back. they are really poor mechanics i dont think they qualify to be called mechanics at this point and i would love to take them to court but yea court costs alone would eat up any winnings and they know it why they give shit service. read more

Although a new location, the owner is not new to me. Rich stuck out on his own from a former repair center and my son and I have followed for a few reasons. One, close to my office, which allows me to drop off vehicle and get to office, thereby not having to wait out the service. Second, great service at a price that is fair to both the consumer, me, and the shop, Rich. Rich is truly customer orientated and wants you to be satisfied from the beginning artg to come back! If I could give zero stars I would. I had a nightmare of an experience with the owner Rich being deceptive and dishonest earlier this month when I brought my Cadillac to his place of business for repair. I had a radiator hose that needed to be connected and a headlights to be repaired that were disconnected after having some body work done elsewhere. I called to find out how much the cost of the repair would be after he said he would call me back the day prior and did not. Rich said he found two rims for 750.00 plus 75.00 each for tire pressure sensors(which my sensors were fine) and I told him I will pass on the recondition rims because I knew I can buy the rims for $50-$100.00 each at the most. Then he said okay well without the rims the bill will be 650.00 and I said I did not authorize him to just do the work on his own accordance. He then said he will take off a couple of hours of labor because it took 5 hours to get my head lights to work however he would have to pull the high beam fuse out so that the lights will not stay on high beam because I needed a new turn signal arm that has the high beam switch. Anyway he then called my girlfriend and said he will charge only $365.00 So then she called me and told me thew price and she told him too that we did not authorize him to work on the car that we wanted a price before he did any work. I threatened to call the police on him and he said he is a Christian person who is honest and said for me to get my car off his property within the hour or it will be impounded. I had my Dad pick up the car immediately and I came to get it from him later that evening and when I was driving the lights turned off completely every time I used my turn signal. Stay away from this guy he is a rip off and very shady doing unauthorized work and charging insane prices and claimed to be a Christian on top of it when confronted for being dishonest and crooked. read more

I normally do my own auto repair, however, I had an engine misfire that I was unable to cure. Not having proper gauges to trouble shoot the problem any further, I took the car to S&S auto care and asked for help. I made an appointment and when I took the car to S&S the problem was corrected the same day. When I received a call telling me that the car was ready, I asked if they could look at another problem while the car was there. It turned out that my front wheel bearings needed replaced. They kept the car for an additional day, replaced the wheel bearings along with other worn parts and did a front end alignment. I am very pleased with their work and professional mannerism. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any auto repair. read more

I have lived in five states and always had difficulty finding a good mechanic I can trust. After moving back to Ohio, I had some issues with my 2007 high mileage "battle wagon" Honda. It may seem like a small thing, but I decided to give S&S a chance because Rich put a photo of himself in his mailer advertisement. To me that meant he was aligning his reputation with his business. I respect that. I have two words to say about the his service and repair: Quality and Value. I've compared pricing and he is always the best (don't judge this shop by the small storefront...they look like they manage their space well).
