I had already had one local repairman from Cooper City come in and he took apart the ice maker, said water flow was too strong to the unit, added some silver tape, put it back and charged us and said give it a week and call back if it was the same. Well, in 2 days it was the same and I called back but after making an appointment and missing it and never called back. The guy didn't know what he was doing. So, I looked up reviews in Yelp and saw that IFixExpress had numerous excellent reviews I called to schedule a visit. Andrew, the owner, answered the call. I explained the situation. He made an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and began to work. He checked to ensure there was not warm air getting into the freezer from seals or the ice dispenser door. All was good. He then systematically check out all other possibilities and discovered that the Defrost Thermostat was working but instead of turning on and off as designed it was working continuously which was creating our problems. He had the part in his truck, replaced it, put all the parts he removed to get to it, cleaned up and charged a reasonable amount for the visit, part, and labor. From theat point forward, no more frost, water inside the freezer, and ice that freezes together in large chunks. We are very happy with IFixExpress and Andrew. He was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and charged a very reasonable price. Will call them again for any appliance issues we have.

It was $80 for the service call and they rolled that into the price of the work to repair the heater and another part. In the end the dishwasher is working good and the price was not cheap but much better than buying a new dishwasher. The two men showed up on time and worked hard to find a solution to the problem. This washing machine did not want to fill with water. There was good water supply to the machine. Apparently, If you hold the start button and turn the knob counterclockwise for 7 clicks, the machine will enter diagnostic mode. Error codes are communicated through the lights on the machine. This is what they charged me 100 dollars for. This machine alerted to a faulty shifter motor or actuator as the problem. They quoted me 339 to replace it. I was ready to throw the machine but I am glad I did some research. The part was only 15 dollars and replacing it literally took me 10 minutes by undoing two screws in the bottom of the machine.
