I was there to try the new pumpkin bagel, went on a busy day so they were sold out, the lady asked me if i would like to try a regular bagel with pumpkin cream. no big deal until the manager or owner i'm not sure showed up i added a egg and ham empanadas. " we don't have it" oh how about this chicken "also sold out" like with attitude. and i left with the bagel and a coffee cause i felt bad to not buying anything. another couple behind come up, she was so nice, oh hi guys how are you where are you from?... ok im not that kind of a customer that came and left without buying anything. so i came back she was there too don't even ask if i want it togo to dine in. just gave my bagel in a paper box while everyone has it on the place. i still came back the 3rd time to try the PSL on a real pumpkin, she came straight to my table "is everything ok i saw u keep smelling your drink?" ok nothing was wrong i just wanna smell the pumpkin what's wrong with that. i love the SD location better. im not giving another try here anymore 3rd time was a charm. This is an adorable little coffee shop on Grand Avenue in Escondido (near the end). Met up with some friends and we went in around 8ish on a Sunday morning. The place was packed. We were thinking about leaving and going to Manzanitas down the street. A table opened up so we stayed. I originally only got a coffee. I got the white mocha iced and I have to say it was delicious. Usually I get coffees at other coffee shops and they're not tasty enough and not sweet enough. This one was perfect for me. My friends got the little pumpkin bagels but I didn't order one because I wasn't feeling good. One of my friends gave me a little piece to try of her bagel and I was like Ok! I'm ordering one! Haha. So I went and ordered the pumpkin bagel. It's just the cutest thing and tasted delicious. Later on we were walking around and lots of people were asking us where we got our coffees. We told them where to go for these delicious coffees and bagels. Two people had told us they went to Manzanitas and the coffee was nasty. So we were so happy we didn't go there! I had accidentally scheduled a 1pm coffee date with a friend, without knowing they closed at that time, I called frantically seeing if I could place an order (I was set to arrive at 12:57pm). Thankfully, Rob, from the kindness of his heart took my order, despite it not being customary for them to do that! I love this place. It's so cute and cozy. I'm so glad they opened one in north county. I don't have to drive so far now to get my vanilla lavender latte from them. That's usually my go to. I came by here to pick up a coffee for the drive up to LA, ordering was very quick. I grabbed an iced latte with sugar free syrup, the syrup was an additional 50 cents but I feel like that's pretty typical now. I also ordered an everything bagel which came warmed up with two small containers of cream cheese. My coffee was also ready very quickly but it was quite empty since it was early. They offer a nice selection of coffee and teas, but I'd especially recommend the Mexican Mocha. Their pastries are also delicious and served warm, a great complement to the drinks. The shop is very spacious, which is a plus, but one drawback is the lack of outlets--only one or two, and they're pretty hidden. Definitely come with a fully charged laptop if you plan to work here. I'd suggest the shop add more outlets to make it even more work-friendly, given how big and spacious it is. Never coming here ever again I've never had an issue getting a hot chai with their puree so I tried to order both strawberry chai hot and after being told no I tried to order a strawberry hot matcha and they said they will not make any of those drinks hot because the purse will curdle then for the matcha said the same thing even though it's powder they said so absurd. I just recently heard about this coffee. Was eager to try it. I finally came in today. I walked in and there was only 2 set of couples. As I got to the counter it was confusing as were to order. I did look lost. Once I approach the counter. The barista said to me in a soft voice that if I was ready. For me it was hard to hear her since the music was kind of loud and I can hear the people conversations. I then started looking at the menu and kind of got an idea of what to get. So the barista kind of comes over and I told her I was ready. I order my drink. Honey rose latte with oatmilk. She then gave me a device. Mind you she never explain to me how their system works or was not friendly at all. I went to sit a table and then the device started to vibrate. I went to the counter again and saw my drink. She wasn't even looking at me when I picked it up. I grabbed my coffee and said thanks. The only person that said bye was the lady next to the counter. I assume she is the owner. Im leaving a one star review because they barista wasn't even friendly or welcoming. She never smiled or even try to help me. And also when I picked up my drink she gave me her back.
