The quote was competitively priced. To make myself comfortable, I wrote down the detail of the quote and texted him for confirmation. He confirmed my detail plus stating a 5-year labor warranty, which really closed the deal for me. Because of the impending rain (and cement set for the post), I iterated with him via texts about job date several times. He was patient and gave me confidence that he won't do the work when it rains... I thought we both cared about quality and wanted to minimize re-work. On the job date, his team arrived at 8a with the fence material and completed the work with efficiency. He answered my questions on the completed fence with patience and gave me confidence. I ended up asking him to quote for driveway concrete & breaking down bricks of a flower bed (crack greater than 1/4 inch). Again, he measured and gave me estimates on the spot. (I later texted him with detail to confirm his quote.) He could also do other exterior jobs, which I will definitely keep in mind for future. Overall, great guy and team to work with. After several days, Adrian and an assistant came to mow the lawns. It was a rainy day! They stopped after mowing just the front. He said he would be back early the next week to finish the job; that is, to mow the back yard. I paid for the front yard. Lots of clumps of wet grass left all over the front, but it was short enough / good enough that I could maintain it myself from there. A few weeks later, my back a little better, and a little work on my own had the front yard looking fine. Here are the text message exchanges between AE and me with a month of trying to get him to finish the job. Exact text. I included only one of the pictures below. * May 1, 2023 AE: Ill be there tomorrow morning. Me: Very good. I will be there. * May 2 AE: Yards complete. * May 12 Me: Checking back in because the job was NOT complete. The backyard was left undone because of ongoing rain. We recently had Rick out to give us a quote to spruce up our driveway. Our driveway previously had…read morea concrete overlay applied (by a different vendor) with color, and now needed some areas to be patched, color added, and clear sealant applied. Rick gave us a reasonable quote for $3600. After signing the contract, Rick's workers (not Rick) came to sand, patch, add color and reseal the driveway. That's where it started to go wrong. I was rushing around with my 3 year old the day work was being performed and agreed to leave a check for them under the doormat (my mistake - I should've never paid them). As for the work they performed - it's embarrassing. You can't even see where they added color, and the color applied over the patched areas is wrong. Their pump spray for the sealer even clogged up and exploded in front of my driveway leaving sealer overspray on my mailbox and HOA road in front of my house. It now looks worse than before they touched the driveway. I asked Rick to fix it and he had one guy return the next day. He never returned himself to see how the job was performed. It's still all messed up. See pictures for yourself. I've tried to contact Rick at least 4 times via text message or voicemail and I've gotten no response. It seems as though I'm now being ignored. I'm not happy and regret hiring him. He took my $3600 and didn't perform the work within a professional manner.

Hired Joe's Concrete to replace a section of concrete with something thicker and reinforced…read more Pricing was very reasonable. Good communication, he showed up early and got it all done in one day. I didn't realize how out of level the existing slab was but he was able to accommodate and the section he poured was perfectly level. I did however end up renting a scarifier to bring down some parts 3/4" and grinding that smooth. In hindsight, I should have had Joe and his crew initially work it down like that from the start. But I guess in the moment it was too rushed to figure out the ideal compromise. The concrete delivery truck did come up short. He had to go and get bags to hand mix. That wasn't ideal since I was going off a spec sheet that said no hand mix. Overall it was an enjoyable little project and Joe and his crew did an excellent job. Can't wait to put the slab to use!

I had them back to quote a 5' retaining wall and a 6 foot fence. They were super competitive and…read morespent 14 hours just digging the post holes 4 feet deep for 6x6 pressure treated posts. They also poured wet cement , not dry and then soak - this is better/stronger and they had to wheel barrel it up a 6' grade. They stained the inside of the retaining wall with a water resistant stain for quality and longevity. Over all - 5 stars - they beat even ones quote by quite a few dollars a foot. The retaining and fence are 42' each. Great stuff, use them.
