It was red. See photo) to the outlet I had a licensed contractor install to a recent closet extension in my backyard. I'm not sure how they even found that outlet as it's not close to the shared fence and is hidden by the A/C unit. I'm also not sure why they were that deep in my backyard when they were just supposed to be working on installing the new fence. If they had simply asked for permission to plug in the battery, this wouldn't have been an issue. I saw the battery charging as I was checking on the progress of the fence throughout the morning and thought nothing of it. It wasn't until that evening where I noticed that all the outlets in the back room didn't work that I started questioning the reason for the outage. After racking my brain and attempting to reset the breaker box, it dawned on me that it was because one of the workers was charging their battery. I don't know the voltage of the battery that they were charging, but it was too much for that outlet. They should've just used an outlet from my neighbor.

I asked the fence person who I contracted to correct that during installation but he told me that I needed to go to the city to get an approval. I went to the city and I was told that I needed to hire a professional land surveyor to confirm the measurement first which would cost a few thousand dollars. During installing my back fence, Kevin decided that my original back-fence was over the neighbor's space by about 10" so he changed it. I was naive at that time and didn't challenge him. He had no authority to do that but he did it to favor my back neighbor who contracted him.
