I come here all the time for my meats and they're always good quality and the owner/family are wonderful people. But I want to mention something specific as recently I made an order to pick up and one of my family members retrieved it but unfortunately they gave us the wrong order. When I called and let them know that one of their staff (Nedal I believe was his name) said he would personally drop it off at my house and pick up the wrong order. I could have picked it up later, but the fact that they would go the extra mile like that says a lot about their commitment to customer service. Thank you guys! read more

One of the cleanest and organized butcher store in the canton area. This place is busy most of the time especially weekends. They also have wide selection of middle eastern and IndoPak grocery's. They have separate meat counter in the front with different kinds of halal meat. We used to get baby goat only from Farmington hills until a friend referred this place. I placed an order online and it was always ready when I went for pick up. We have ordered baby goat few times here and the quality has been consistently good. Great place to get halal meats and other groceries! The owner and his son are always there and super friendly. Enjoy going here for fresh cuts of meat- from chicken to goat. They cut the meats right in front of you how ever you like it. From strips to cubes; bone in and bone out. They'll trim the fat out for you as well while cutting whatever you want. Saad is the place to go for anything Middle Eastern. Their specialty is as you guessed it....meat. You don't have to be muslim to eat halal meat. The meat is clean and fresh. Much much better than you would find in any grocery store. If you go to Mid-Eastern restaurants and like Chicken Tawook, Shish Kafta, Chicken Kafta....go see Saad before your next barbecue and pick up some fresh meat, they will pre-season it or pre-marinate it. The service here is super friendly! I come here if I *need* Halal meats when cooking for a friend, otherwise it is unfortunately a little too far away from home to shop here on the regular. As a non-Halal needing person, I have to say the difference in appearance, feel, and the way the meat cooks, is very interesting. Honestly, it seems a lot fresher and a lot less processed than what you'd buy in the grocery store. Again, it is a bummer I live so far away. I really like all the different candies and products they carry. Some of them I am familiar with, as they have a lot of candy and chocolate from Europe. If you are looking for Kinder, Ritter Sport, Bounty, etc. you may want to come here first before you pay half your pay check at more expensive gourmet markets for the same products. read more

Outstanding quality and prices, plus great service! I notice all of the reviews mentioning quality and cleanliness are fairly old - I've only been shopping here about a year, so I don't know if it changed ownership or what, but there have never been any such issues on my frequent visits. My MIL is super picky (bordering on germaphobe) and she shops here all the time too. They have a bigger selection of meats and cuts than is displayed at the butcher counter, so don't be afraid to ask if you don't see what you are looking for. It's difficult to imagine a better place to buy lamb, goat, or chicken around here. read more

Recently moving from Connecticut I was worried would I find a good halal meat market. We are strictly halal eating family and I was blessed to find Saad Meats. After giving other shops a try this one hands down is the best. They have everything a Desi would need and have things from Middle East, Asia and Europe. But what really made me LoVE this place is the family and their customer service, how they make you feel welcomed and treat you like family! This is the only Halal shop I go to now! read more

Saad Meats just recently opened a restaurant on their bakery side, and I am a fan. First, their fried chicken is the best I've tasted. It's made when it is ordered, so it is incredibly fresh, crisp and tender. I ended up heating some chicken back up twice after getting it home, and it was still tender and yummy. Fried fish, wrap sandwiches, all tasty. Their onion rings are battered, enormous and delicious. There are a few tables if you want to eat there, but the majority of their business is carry-out. Honestly I hate to ever take business away from anyone but from my experiences they have poor quality products. This is after getting meat there on multiple occasions. Even when I am desperate for halal meat now I would prefer to drive somewhere else to get it or opt for a vegetarian meal. Everyone inside is really nice but significant improvements need to be made in the meat quality and freshness. read more

I came here before I moved to canton and the Butcher remembered me a few weeks later after I moved. They are really nice people and the Chicken prices are great. Some stuff you can find cheaper by a little, but I love the service to a dollar difference on somethings won't make a difference for me. Also, I tried their fried chicken from the restaurant. We have been buying groceries and meat from Saad Meats for about 10yrs now. They are very helpful and attentive to the needs of their customer. I only had one occasion when the lamb I bought smelled off, they took it back no questions asked. Although We have moved to a different city, we still come to Saad when we need bulk meat for parties.
