We came in there on October 27 and enjoyed the excellent service the bartender provided. It was good until around 5 o'clock when the next bartender came in and started harassing/abusing the previous shift bartender about how unclean the bar was and tried to get the manager involved for no reason. The prior shift bartender enthusiastically agreed she'd clean it better, and tried, but from what we saw the bar was absolutely spotless and there was nothing more she can do. It was to the point were the one complaining made us so uncomfortable we had to leave. We will never be back due to the horrid scene the new shift bartender put on. It was embarrassing and degrading enough for the other bartender that it seemed she had to go to the bathroom and cry over nothing. Shameful. read more

Being from Chicago, my family and I came to realize that Texans and we disagree wholeheartedly on what good pizza is. We found this place one Sunday and decided to give it a try as we continued our quest to find pizza that wasn't average to horrible. We were surprised but leery that they made Chicago style deep dish. So we ordered and hoped for the best. It was the best pizza we've had in Texas, bar none. Was it Giordano's, not quite... but they are trying. The sause was really good. Pros: Clean bathroom, great decor, plenty of TVs., great service. Cons: Only 4 toppings max on the deep dish? What? Never heard of topping restrictions. No Coke products. Pizza took a while to come out and they weren't busy. All in all, it reminded us of pizza in Chicagoland more than anywhere in Central Texas. Ordered a veggie pizza without cheese (I'm vegan) and it was pretty good. My husband had a club sandwich I believe and was pleased. I'm glad this is close by but would really like to see them add plant based cheese for those of us that do not eat dairy. It's a simple add for any pizza place. It just ups the appeal for many of us. Got pizza and a salad here for take out. Sat inside while I waited for it to finish and the inside looks pretty cool once the re-open. The salad was adequate - nothing fancy, but veggies seemed fresh. For pizza we got a large hand tossed with 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 veggies. The crust is really good a has a bit of sweetness and I used a little honey to finish off each piece (college in Denver where it's a thing). Loosing a star however because the sauce and toppings were a bit bland. Overall, the best pizza I've had this close to my house but not as good as 600 degrees in downtown Georgetown - that's still No. 1 in the area for me. read more

Their Chicago stuffed pizza was awesome. Very authentic. Will be back for that and its great to have anything other than NY style around here for once. They also had a cauliflower crust pizza that my wife got. I was skeptical but it was really good actually. Didnt seem like cauliflower so if you are watching your carbs I think this might be a great option for you. Their thin crust we got for our daughter. I wasnt really thrilled about this one. Not bad or anything. I would just suggest getting the Chicago style. For everyone else that complained about service give it a rest. It was their first day open! read more

Sabino's always has great tasting food, no matter what you order! I like the seating arrangement with longer tables in the middle that can accommodate a lot of people! Although there are a lot of younger workers (high school age), we're always impressed how everyone is always working and not goofing off (I know that's a stereotype, but we all know how that can be at some places).. Food was good as usual. Wings are flavorful but a little on the small side. Pizza is always good, fresh and hot. The problem: service. On this day we went in, the bulk of the staff was very young adults, early 20's? The teens that I see work there are always great kids. My boyfriend had to go up and get the items he had requested. The girl that brought the food to the table was clearly having a bad day. The girl at the counter with red and black hair was just rude. Then, my favorite part: the LOUD music, laden with profanity. Not just a couple cuss words but graphic, sexual phrases and racist lyrics. Plenty of N words and sexual acts. Totally inappropriate for myself and my teenage son to have to sit through as well as the other patrons that were senior citizens. I said something out loud and one staffer rolled her eyes at me. A young man, manager or leader at some point, Came out and changed it and said "really?" To which A man at the bar said "what!" He replied it was inappropriate and bar patron scoffed at him. Possibly an employee off duty because they seemed to know each other. Bartender laughed and shook her head when manager walked away. Songs then turned back. I realized there might be an app control? Maybe that should be revoked or have an override. And if that was an employee off duty, better behavior should be expected. It's a family restaurant and we enjoy going there. But my younger child DEFINITELY wouldn't ever go there if that's the new normal. read more

We ordered a deep dish pizza and a veggie pan pizza for pickup and we really enjoyed our food. The deep dish was decadent and cheesy, and the pan pizza crush was delicious, with some veggies on there to make it somewhat healthy. The staff was nice and everyone was wearing a mask. Our family has been here numerous times for the food and atmosphere. We live very close which makes it super convenient and ours kids love it too! We have enjoyed meeting and getting to know some of the friendly staff members. Just a little piece of advice: Since we are there a little more frequent (and I have worked in this industry in the past)...I can say I'm a little disappointed the manager/owner/ doesn't make more of an effort to come around and check how the food, experience, etc.. or even introduce himself to the guests-(or some of the "regulars"). I totally understand busy schedules and trying to run a business, but just wanted to give some beneficial feedback for the continuing growth of the company. Networking as well as socializing can be huge in this market and I just want this place to continue to succeed! This is just my opinion as a consumer who spends a good amount of $$ almost each week at this venue so I felt like if I could raise a little awareness I would. Thank you! read more

This place has great ambiance, but the food is sub-par. We tried to order the Gondola sandwich (similar to an Italian) but we were told that the sandwiches do not come with any dressing (No Italian Dressing, no Mayo, nothing!!). So we ordered a Large Pepperoni pizza instead. It was decent, but I feel like I have had similar tasting frozen pizza. This is a great place to come for a game as they have a lot of open seating and TV's at all angles, but the food really needs some work. Don't offer sandwiches if you don't even have dressings to compliment them. Heck, go to H-E-B and buy some mustard, mayo, Italian dressing and at least pretend to care :) read more

It's ok, it can use improvements. It's probably the best pizza place in a 5 mile radius, though. ;) The sauce is way too salty, calm down on the salt and it would be way better....and I love salt. I normally add salt to just about everything. This sauce made me disappointed in putting it in my mouth. Once I scrapped the cheese and toppings away from the sauce I was able to enjoy my pizza again. The cheese was good and melty, the toppings were flavorful, and the crust was ok. (We had both a thin crust and "Chicago" style). The thin crust had the flavor of cardboard (could have really used some Rosemary or thyme in the dough...or even garlic), and the "Chicago" style was a bit better....but the sauce killed it. To the owner: maybe tweak your sauce a little bit, I'm sure it's a tried and true family recipe but cut back on some of the salt, please. Everything else was good enough. Tl;Dr I would have liked it better had there not been so much salt. So 3/5. read more

We were a bit hesitant based on the recent reviews about the sauce, but we called in and they confirmed the issue was resolved. Very happy we gave them a shot. The Beef Roll was a massive hit for everyone in the house. The picky kids were confused why the sauce was on top of the stuffed pizza, but they at all of the Beef Roll, so it worked out. The only issue we had was that all the toppings in the Stuffed Pizza were in the middle, so the last few bites were cheese and sauce. Not much of an issue since it all tasted so good, but that is the only thing that keeps it from a 5 star for me. Overall I recommend giving it a shot and getting the Beef Roll for sure. read more

We came here for the 1st time on Sunday, nice, friendly environment. I did notice the staff was young and was having fun behind the counter (maybe a little too much fun and didn't really pay attention to the customers too much). We ordered 10 wings and a large pizza. We expected the wings to come out first since they are an appetizer, we waited a bit and got the pizza first. The pizza was awesome, great flavor and perfect. The wings.... not so good, they came out after that, they were beyond burnt and had no flavor. We had ordered the Dry rub- Lemon Pepper and BBQ sauce ones, I only gave our visit 3 stars because of this. Since this was our first trip there we will try it again and hopefully the wings will be better. read more
