Online ordering is done through Toasttab and it's super easy to BYOP (build your own pizza). Built a 10in pan with mushrooms, onions, spinach, basil, tomatoes, roasted red pepper, pineapple and hot pepperoncinis. This is the 3rd time the same pizza has been ordered and the finished product has been consistent every single time. A wonderfully tasty crust with a slight buttery taste and plentiful fresh toppings baked to perfection. Nothing burnt and nothing undercooked. The first two times I went inside to pick up and was cheerfully greeted with what I'm sure was a smile behind the mask. :) But guess what? They have a drive thru window!!! This last time I drove up to that window and was greeted with another masked smile and my pizza was promptly brought to the window. I have to admit though as tasty as this pizza is, it isn't cheap. That's a good thing because I do believe you get what you pay for. However it also means this will be more of a special occasion treat as opposed to being a weekly pizza night. I still have my issues with this place not waiting on you. Covid had almost killed the bar. Last time we went in there were only 4 chairs and 2 employees were sitting in them drinking beer. Enough of the bad. I changed my review because of the food. These guys have the best wings in Texas! One of the kids (Owners Kid I think) that worked there talked us in to trying them. He was right, they are awesome. We have tried most flavors and have not been disappointed at all. Even my wife likes them, she hates wings. If you are a wing guy stop by, you won't be disappointed. Only issue is they don't like doing 2 flavors on the order of 12. I was told "I won't do that to the kitchen" by the bartender. It's the kitchen's job to do what I want to my food. I love this place! Food is great and they are super friendly. It's a little pricy if you're comparing it to domino's. But these are totally different types of places! I am kind of conflicted between 3 and 4 stars. Was there yesterday, ordered to go and pizza was good, cashier super friendly as well. The music (if that's what it was) while I was waiting was absolutely abysmally loud and obnoxious "rap" of some sort. I guess that's what the staff wants to listen to however it certainly wasn't pleasant to wait even 10 minutes subjected to that torturous sound. Fortunately there is a new furniture store next-door that allowed me to kill some time in peace. Upon my return to pick up the pizza one of the employees was sitting on the steps outside the door enjoying a cigarette. Kind of gross but I know these are stressful times....and I don't want to be labeled a "Ken" here... As for the main event, pizza was good, ordered Chicago style and as the hipsters in Austin would say, it was "on point". Good crust, great thick sauce and a fair amount of cheese, sausage, pepperoni black olives and mushrooms baked in. $20 for the large basic cheese pie and another $2 for each topping. Worth $28 plus tax and gratuity? I think so. Was the cheese "melty" when I got home 25 minutes later, not so much. The whole thing was more like a lasagna. A delicious one at that. Wow , ok. Didn't plan on coming here but our placed was delayed opening today. So similar cuisine , we decided to try this. Walking in we were greeted right away and chose our socially distant seats. We chose a small veggie pizza and the brisket Grilled cheese. Don't judge me- The Sammy came out first thankfully and holy shot was it amazing. Like that perfect grilled cheese toasted bread but drizzled with a little sweet bbq sauce. Freaking amazing. There brisket is very decent. It's not bohemian bbq or anything but, damn. Next came the pizza. I opted for the on pizza and it was fresh out of the pan. Piping hot but in the good way where all the toppings stay on the pizza. We ate everything. Done. Gone. The staff came around to clean up and was very chipper and excited we enjoyed the food. Everything was perfect. Will return very soon as my wife and I enjoyed the layout, vibe and the cleanliness. I client of my mine had told me about this place and explained that it was the best pizza he had eaten in a long time. I had driven by so many time but never stopped by. Not only is it great food (GREAT WINGS, pizza and cinnamon bread) but the people are about as friendly as you could hope to encounter. The beef roll is amazing! The pizza is pretty darn good, much much much improved from when they first opened. Not the most friendly gal working the bar, and I don't understand the way they have the large tables in the middle of the restaurant sectioned off due to Covid, makes no sense for just the middle sections of all the tables to be open instead of the ends or even rotating middle to ends from table to table, currently you have everyone right down the middle so there is zero distance from family's sitting back to back. I've eaten pizza every Saturday throughout my adult life and I am known to pub crawl on the regular, so I very much wanted to love this place. My girlfriend and I popped in some months ago for a drink and carryout pizza, and the service at the bar was downright unfriendly (the food was solid). We were in the neighborhood again this past weekend and thought we would give it another shot. We went in on a SWELTERING hot Saturday afternoon, and the bar was not overly busy. We attempted to engage the bartender in conversation as we ordered our drinks, and she was having none of it. I commented to my girlfriend that maybe I had wronged the bartender in a previous life, such was the unfriendliness. She did seem very engaged, however, with a couple of younger men who were sitting on the opposite end of the bar: smiling, laughing, talking. We ordered our pizza and wings to go (the pizza was excellent, and the wings were very good) and had a drink. At a glance, the bar looks like a place that would be a lot of fun. There is kind of a vibe though, which we picked up on our first visit as well, that the staff and regulars aren't fond of customers who aren't immediately local to the place or regular visitors. Just a vibe. Anyway, we paid our tab and got up to leave. My girlfriend thanked the bartender and waved goodbye, receiving no response from the bartender. Uncool. Pizza was too robust for my liking and the wings were over cooked. Also, the wings were oddly shaped and they didn't taste fresh. This is our second having Sabino's, first time for takeout. Their drive thru makes pickup SUPER easy, perfect way to get the kids out of the house during these weird times. We have wanted to try this place for a while and was not disappointed. I am not as much of a fan of the Chicago deep dish as my wife (NJ and WI respectively) but we both really liked their deep dish pizza. I had a Hawaiian and my wife had grilled chicken. I liked the way that the ingredients were folded into the crust, it made for a delicious experience. She missed the cornmeal and the crispier crust. Have it 4 stars because we're disappointed with the portion size of the spinach artichoke dip. For $6 I would have expected twice what we got. Otherwise it would have been a five star experience. I've been craving the Chicago deep dish pizza of my college days and nothing here in town ever seemed to get it just right, until tonight. Sabinos hit all the marks for me... the sauce was perfect, a little sweet and no acidic aftertaste... the crust was cooked perfectly and not too heavy as to be super bread-y at the end... the toppings were homemade and very flavorful. The smell alone was amazing and I'm surprised I didn't dig in while driving home. My son, who hates tomato sauce, ate 2 slices and loved it.
