The manager on call was miserable and disrespectful. Also, note that this location, being close to the beaches, loses power all the time; it's not even funny. I understand that they couldn't control power outages, which is fine. But on July 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., there was one of many power outages at this location in Brick. The way this manager, on the supermarket side (not the liquor store), was talking to customers waiting in the store while the power went out with food in their carts was appalling. Not one person was acting out; everyone was waiting by the registers for the power to come back to check out. This manager on call, again, was the most nasty person. I got so pissed at this point; it was so unnecessary how this guy was talking to all the customers. I swear I will never visit this location again and will tell everyone I speak with to avoid this location at all costs. They need to clean house with their managers; half of them are the worst.

Bitter melon with pork belly and gravy on rice. We thought the bitter melon was a little undercooked for our taste. But, when reheated, it was delicious. The pork belly with gravy was mixed nicely with the rice. The spare ribs and potatoes were also pretty good. Hubs said that he liked it and thought it was a nice mix with the rice. I did not notice until after I left the store. When calling the store I was met with the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I was put on hold and disconnected. The item I was double charged for (which there were 2 of) rang up two times but at twice the price they should have been. For some reason he just wanted to blame me for the mistake. So I got annoyed by this and asked "Why is it so important to you to blame me.? Why can't you just except your employee tagged it wrong and refund me my money? " He insisted because it was my fault and I should be more careful! He did refund the money (after I said I would contact my credit card company) but insisted on continuing to say it was my fault.
