This is an updated review for Sabor Mexico in Lake Elsinore, CA. I love that this place is nearby. My family and I have been coming here for quite a few years now, since 2024, and it has always been a great experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently good. Before I found out I had celiac disease, I would always order the torta cubana, their wet burritos, and the waffle combo, which were all so good. Even after changing my diet, I still have great options here. My current go-to is the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce, carne asada, rice, and beans. The flavors are amazing, the portions are big, and the food is very filling. Their aguas frescas are really good and come in large cups, which I appreciate. The birria tacos are also delicious and definitely worth trying. Their menu is very large and extensive, and everything we've ordered over the years has been consistently delicious. We often have Rosa as our waitress, and she is always so sweet and attentive. Overall, Sabor Mexico is a great spot for good food, generous portions, and friendly service. I highly recommend it and will continue coming back. read more

I did not feel like cooking and I did not want another fast food meal. That is when we found this little gem right down the street from us. It's not fancy but super clean. Service was good my steak and eggs were really good for the price. Also breakfast is served all day. I posted the menu and all the special they offer at the time we went. They have a juice bar and noticed most of the people coming in were for takeout. They had some amazing daily special for lunch and dinner. With the price of food today I found them pretty reasonable. read more

We just stopped by for some food. Great service and great food. It's is hot and the juice here was amazing.

I had the chilaquiles and they were very good. On a side note, they sell 30 brown eggs for 14.00

Food was absolutely delicious. Our food came out very quickly and we just as quickly demolished it. I got a quesadilla with rice and beans and it tasted very good and and who I was with got a burrito and he really appreciated it too. Very cute and would highly recommend for a solid meal. The food is very good, and only a short drive away. The Super chilaquiles are their specialty my personal preference really enjoy the way they season their steak always the same flavor. We have tried the chicken enchiladas, chorizo con huevo, birria plate, consume, and ramen birria plates are very delicious and very authentic. The decor and music is good, they usually play authentic regional Mexican music on tv so pretty upbeat. The service and waitresses are very attentive and always offer coffee as needed. read more

Stopped by for a agua fresas the jamaica it is delicious! Also had the fresh fruit with crema and the crema sauce is excellent! Definitely worth coming again! They also have a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff and nice place to eat. read more

This place is about a 3-minute drive away from us but for the life of never eaten it here instead we go to the other restaurant which I believe is a bit pricey. Last week we decided to order Birria to go because they were the closest. We did it for convenience. But to my surprise, it was the best Birria/Consome I've had and immediately ordered another one the next day. Today, we decided to actually dine in and it did not disappoint! So happy we came here. The other restaurant we chose was closed. Food is authentic and absolutely delicious. We had the Birria ramen, enchiladas, crispy chicken tacos and asada chilaquiles. I haven't been out to Lake Elsinore for a while but I ended up out there for a car show. After the car show, the wifey wanted some Mexican food. I jumped on Yelp (of course) and started searching. We came across this place and decided to give it a try. This place is definitely a great spot if want some authentic Mexican food. We had a variety of different items and they were all delicious. Green chilaquiles had good flavor. Red were mostly tomato sauce so added their spicy salsa to them. Love that their coffee taste amazing, not too strong. Quesatacos are a must, very delicious.
