Incidentally, I must've met seven different people from Lake Elsinore in the last two months since going, and I've made sure to tell each and every one of them about this place. Many of them had not been and only a couple had heard of it. It's a family owned single location. We found it while camping at the Launch Point RV Park located nearby. I tried the birria and the brisket but the highlight for me is the Carne Asada. It's great in the tacos, burritos, and especially on their french fries. Something about the cut of meat that they use or the way that they prepare it is different from most places and really flavorful. They have a really good assortment of sauces and the staff was super friendly. We went here three times in three days because it was that good. The burrito was large and had a ton of flavor - trust me you'll be full off it. It had fries, guac, asada, and cheese - just look a the photo! The food was good, but if you're a salsa lover and lover of pickled veggies (like me) then you might be slightly disappointed. I ordered the 3 taco special and a cucumber lime agua fresca. For my tacos I ordered lengua, birria, and brisket. Although they weren't horrible, my tacos lacked flavor. I was hoping to add some flavor with a mild salsa and some lime, but all of the salsas were a little too spicy for my liking, and they only had lemon slices and no lime. I don't think I've been to a taco shop that doesn't offer lime. One of my tacos had so much fat that I had to pick through it and remove the fatty pieces before I could eat it. He also said the meat was shredded and he likes chunks of meat in his burrito. He gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I ordered a torta de Milanesa. This thing was huge, it could be shared. The flavor was good and it had what a regular torta has, beans, meat, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes. The only thing I would suggest is adding is some cheese.
