First learned of this spot from my aunt, it was her favorite place here. Plus I remember they had a solid breakfast burrito. So my experiences vary depending on how I'm experiencing them-if delivery, not too pleasant because they don't secure their packages. If dine-in, they have yet to disappoint. Certainly recommend dining in I've had their flan, their super nachos and their huevos rancheros. The latter two, were perfect. THIS is my new go to spot for nachos-hard to find a place where you can get loaded nachos with nacho cheese and they have both shredded and nacho cheese sauce here. Just amazing. So this place has been here a long time and the food is always amazing. My daughter said they added a bar and wanted to check it out. We went down for a burrito and margaritas. The Al Pastor burrito was FANTASTIC.. The margarita was terrible. My daughter had the strawberry margarita and it was awful as well. This place used to be me and my husband's favorite spot.. I don't know what happened! First of all the prices went up, which I get it-- everyone's prices are going up. BUT, the quality went way down!!! he has gone a few times and decided we're not coming back. Then after a few months, we miss it and think we will give it another try. My friend referred this place to me and I'm glad I actually went.. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming and my order was ready pretty quick. A local spot we've been going to for a long time. This place is always good but hats off to the chef and staff tonight! Everything was great We tried the new Jamaica vodka cocktail and it was amazing with the tajin rim! I got the surf n turf burrito and my husband loves the shrimp cocktail and he got a pastor taco. You want good, not 100% authentic, but really good Mexican food? This is your place. My go to? Beef flautas and carne asada fries for sure. Super good! They have a salsa bar and the taquera hot salsa is sooo good along with pickled carrots. The menudo is really good no funny taste/smells ever. Their service isn't as fast but then again they stay pretty busy so it'll be worth the wait. Ambiance is great. My kids love going because they have a little gaming section and my kids love the little video games. There's seating right next to it in the bar area so it works out perfect. Cold food and warm beer... We went for taco Tuesday and it turns out they don't run a special. Which is no big deal but when we ordered the lady kept adding extra tacos onto our order and I had to tell her over and over again what kind and how many. We ordered dinner here for pickup this past weekend and just make sure you check your order before leaving. I had a two taco meal with one beef and one chix but got two chicken instead. Not the end of the world but they also completely forgot to give me a chicken quesadilla that was also on the order. When I called to see if I could get credited back the amount for the quesadilla they said no because I ordered directly through their website. It was packed with refried beans. Could not see any potatoes at all, no trimmings. Probably 1 strip of bacon. Do not waste your money. It cost over $10 for each burrito. Could not taste anything but beans. Go somewhere else. i love this place its way better than the one in murrieta but i was a bit disappointed today when my friend was nice enough to order us some food from here online and i felt slightly discriminated against at the counter. ive done online orders before so im aware of how it works and that they use doordash for it but never have i ever come in to pick up my order and after i give the name for my order im treated like the woman at the register didnt believe me. Quite rudely she asked if I had "the thing to show her" and i was confused at first and said no my friend ordered and sent me to pick it up. She looked confused, wasnt answering me for a second, then tells me to give her the number with the order. When I did, she still seemed hesitant! Normally i understand, but this is the first time ive ever been asked to verify with name AND phone number and I come here regularly to pickup my online orders. I dont understand what the problem was or the womans attitude and im hoping it wasnt a racial issue and maybe just confusion? either way veryyy weird and upsetting. edit: Wow thank you Raymond the owner for your compelling and very passive aggressive response to someone feeling racially profiled at your business! Since this incident I have had 2 coworkers (neither of them people of color btw) place online orders and go pick them up and to my surprise they let me know that they only had to give their name to receive the order they purchased no second form of verification and no receipt! now thats really interesting. They would get a 0 if I could! I ordered online for a bean and cheese burrito kids meal. For my grandson. Says it comes with rice, beans and a drink under the kids meal section. So I ordered it but when I got there the woman said no it's not a meal so I showed her the menu and page where I ordered it. She still said it wasn't a meal. So I just said I don't want it I'd like a refund, that's similar to false advertising. She said no we won't do that! I've never had someone say you can get a refund for something you DID NOT RECEIVE. I think this place has the best shredded chicken flautas and chicken taco salad I have ever had. My husband has grown up going to the one in Temecula and was excited there was one in lake Elsinore. It is the one taco shop we both love and can always agree on something. Their tacos and taquitos are also really good. However, you are looking for a burrito, there are better places for that. First visit here. I can only speak for the menudo. I came here because I saw pictures of the actual dry chili peppers and not grounded. They do provide both fresh cilantro and dry herbs. Menudo came out pretty fast after washing my hands and served myself with two hot sauce cups. I was very disappointed that the soup was not hot and it was barely even warm. They only gave 3 tortillas which was pretty good and soft. Usually other places give at least 4 tortillas. The good: I have eaten here a handful of times and with each visit I couldn't help but boast about this eatery! I love the tacos so freshly made and served with large portions ( they do not skimp ). The bacon breakfast burritos are amazing with the beans, eggs, thinly shaved hash browns cooked to perfection, adding just the right salty goodness accompanied by the bacon. The salsa is unlike no other! It is so good and spicy but just enough to eat another bite before giving in to taking a drink from the slight burning sensation from the salsa. My favs are the green ( slightly mild ) and the red ( spicy ). The Bad: I visited here today and placed a very large order to go. My daughter tells me to look as she's separating the bite she had just spit out. My daughter is just about finished with her burrito and as she's digging she shows me the rock looking thing. I called and spoke with manager Rosa letting her know what was found. And I suggested it might have come from the beans. She stated that they get their beans wash and cleaned and that these beans are refried. Please be safe when eating here just in case because I wouldn't want anyone biting into one of these. The rice and beans that accompany the plates are second to none. Shredded beef was the choice of protein and it was plentiful and full of flavor. We wish the crispy goodness could be had at every bite. It's the gummy middle portion of this taquito that stops me from highly recommending this dish.
