Had such a great experience ordering from here the other day. They have a wide spread of a menu and decent prices. I ordered online and they came quite quickly. There is only street parking at this location. I had ordered an arepa con aguacate y chicharones. This was HUGE. Lots of avocado and the pork was super good. Totally recommend. Totally different than anything I've ever had. The rice with peas was super good as well! Totally authentic. The beans were great as well. I also ordered beef empanadas and cheese empanadas. Food was standard but good. Portions are great. And their prices are better than other Colombian spots in the area (I looked up several to compare like-items.) The Super Bandeja Paiso is a great deal for a little of everything. It is a true, local neighborhood place - nestled within the many busy stores in this section of College Point Blvd where everything latino from Mexican, Dominican, to Peruvian is densely covered. The woman who works here does not speak any English and when I called to order, she placed me on hold for a good 8 minutes - because I was speaking English and she didn't know how to tend to me. I hung up, called back and told her, I was on hold, waiting to order. She then said "Sorry me no english." but not in the least in a rude way. So I told her I could order in Spanish, which I did. (Not at all fluent, but I can get around that much.) I'm not holding this against her though, because I can appreciate and understand some local, authentic businesses that typically only serve their own communities and sometimes we, even as customers, need to respect that and accommodate. read more

I did a pickup order from here during the time of covid (now), and the girl at the cash register didn't have her mask on. The food itself was good and plentiful and they have a lot of choices. However, i purchased one of their breads and when i looked in it there was hair and clumped up and melted. I almost threw up. This makes me question how clean they are. Also, I'm sensing a lot of the people on College Point aren't bothered by Covid bc I saw one too many people walking way too close to each other and not wearing masks or gloves, and just going about their day. read more

Now my complaint today is they charged me an extra 5.00 for delivery and sent my order incorrect and missing the skirt steak all together! The food is mediocre to horrible which explains their low prices. Service is horrible. Went there with my husband placed our orders at the same time. He got his right away and mines took about 40 mins for steak and eggs with white rice, not to mention we were the only ones sitting there. The waitress never came by to check on us or check on my food. Finally I called her over that I was going to take it to go, that's when she went to check and told me it was ready if I still wanted it to go. She yells to the back you heard her she still wants it to go. I get home and my order wasn't even complete. They also ask that you take your own temperature and write it down as well. I have never experienced such horrible customer service as I did with this place. I had a restaurant.com coupon that I purchased a while back but never used. When I called last Sunday to use the workers kept on giving me excuses: "the owners are not present so we don't know if we can use it " "call back later" " we will call the owners just give us a couple of minutes" Eventually I just gave it up and decided to use it the following week. When Sunday comes I call again and again ask if I can use the coupon. They start giving me the same excuses so I just decide to go to the restaurant. When arriving, they give me some more excuses "there's a new owner and they do not accept the coupon " but long story short they do accept it but don't honor it. When I get home I noticed that one of the items I requested, the patacon, was not included so in reality i paid full price for everything. Additionally the food was just ok. College point has so many better restaurants serving better food that this restaurant isn't worth the horrible customer service. read more

Bueno mi gente, i'm going to start off with the fact that customer service is good which is half the battle. Ordered breakfast I got the Mangu with salami fried cheese and eggs. The Mangu was terrible very lumpy, the egg yolk was very well done and greasy, and the salami was of poor quality you could taste it. We also ordered the juevos pericos, and they were tasteless. The arepa de choclo with cheese was ok. The coffee was good. They forgot the coffee but brought it back within 10 minutes. Won't order again but they were nice read more

As you see in the photos below the chicken itself are undercooked. These items could have not only upset my stomach but have sent me and my 75-year old uncle to the hospital and have caused his DEATH. To start off, I called in at 6:40pm the order took 8 min. Mind you through out the timing the delivery guy was unable to get to my apartment because the lady did not get my address correctly so I had to personally give the delivery guy address. The delivery time said about an hour, when it came much sooner, the food was cold and dry. The beef stew I received was missing the stew! Only 5 chunks of dry beef one piece of potato over like a pound of rice. They undercooked my chicharrón, all the food is canned, the beans are canned (only like 10 beans in a pool of can bean juice is disgusting btw), the peas and carrots in my "stew" were defiantly either canned or frozen. When spending almost 30$ on food wouldn't you expect higher quality? At least fresh ingredients. Decent food but a delivery fee on SEAMLESS? One of very few businesses that charges a delivery fee. Delivery fees are one thing I never understood--does it go to the delivery person? I've been eating Colombian food since I was a kid and I love it. This is the worst columbian food I've ever had. I ordered the bandeja paisa and couldn't even finish it. Everything from the rice and beans to the steak looked and tasted stale. The food had no flavor and looked like it had been sitting out all day. Absolutely disgusting. When we complained to the manager, all she did was defend their food. She even had the nerve to ask me where I was from then said that food from my country was horrible compared to columbian food.
