I did a pickup order from here during the time of covid (now), and the girl at the cash register didn't have her mask on. The food itself was good and plentiful and they have a lot of choices. However, i purchased one of their breads and when i looked in it there was hair and clumped up and melted. I almost threw up. This makes me question how clean they are. Also, I'm sensing a lot of the people on College Point aren't bothered by Covid bc I saw one too many people walking way too close to each other and not wearing masks or gloves, and just going about their day.

Bueno mi gente, i'm going to start off with the fact that customer service is good which is half the battle. Ordered breakfast I got the Mangu with salami fried cheese and eggs. The Mangu was terrible very lumpy, the egg yolk was very well done and greasy, and the salami was of poor quality you could taste it. We also ordered the juevos pericos, and they were tasteless. The arepa de choclo with cheese was ok. The coffee was good. They forgot the coffee but brought it back within 10 minutes. Won't order again but they were nice

As you see in the photos below the chicken itself are undercooked. These items could have not only upset my stomach but have sent me and my 75-year old uncle to the hospital and have caused his DEATH. To start off, I called in at 6:40pm the order took 8 min. On top of that the lady on the phone, she was talking to someone else. Got off the phone and at 8:40pm the food arrived. Mind you through out the timing the delivery guy was unable to get to my apartment because the lady did not get my address correctly so I had to personally give the delivery guy address. MIND YOU I SPOKE SPANISH....to those that have had her hung up on you Guess what ? She does not speak Spanish as well. When my order came, they forgot the fries. And as soon as we went to cut the chicken we saw that (look at the pictures below) It wasn't even one chicken, but TWO CHICKENS. talking to the woman was pointless she did not help the cause only sorry which did not solve the problem of the missing fries and undercooked chickens SHE EVEN HUNG UP ON ME MULTIPLE TIMES The boss of the place "Ok....ok.....ok....ok...." no really complete sentences all monotone as if it did not matter the chicken and this type of reputation has not only made an impact on my family but also spoiled our dinner Especially the fact we waited two hours for our food!!! Tell those who want to order from this place Don't do it, or else be ready to head to the hospital, wait three hours, and jipped over for $45 bucks Edit: So, we had another two case of chicken, and They were again undercooked

Sabor Restaurant and Bakery is what the awning reads and also how I found this great spot on restaurant.com. Small green plaintain soup, single well-seasoned thin pork chop, with properly crisp fat, white rice and beet salad was the daily special...8.00 and so worth it. I dont even like beets, but I couldnt resist the pretty pink (mayo? ) salad. I came looking for great columbian coffee and it was good. There was a customer just beginning his delicious looking meal and when I asked the waitress to show me on the menu, she said it isnt there. It seems they run a different daily special each day of the week. Monday is the porkchop special...yum!

I ordered a beef empanada and received this! The beef was raw. Thankful I broke it in half first if not I would of been food poisoned. Buyer beware! I will definitely won't be purchasing from here ever again

This poor excuse for a beef stew had me livid, there was no stew, just large dry chunks of beef over like a pound of rice.

Food & Favorites: I mainly come for the empanadas, which have a nice variety of flavors, from classic to more experimental options, all of which are still really good. Every worker was amazing. The empanadas were the best I've ever, ever had. Crispy outside. Great filling to ratio. Seasoned well. Not oily. The flavor was soft and delicate. The sangria was delicious. I highly recommend. The blackberry margarita was outstanding. Almost had a hint of a michelada to it. We ordered the platano relleno. Definitely order that. Again the best one I've ever had. Sweet, fresh and the juxtaposition of seasoning to meat and cheese and plantsin was beyond delicious. They also have good Columbian sodas. The apple and cola weren't overly sweet. The pork chicharon ceviche was again the best I've ever tasted. The chicharon here is impeccable. The onions weren't soggy and weren't potent. The blended well with the citrus and chicharon. The bandeja paisa was outstanding. Every protein was cooked perfectly. We ordered steaks that were juicy. The veggies amazing. The cgar grilled tasted yes. Theres an onion and tomato side I could eat plates with the rice. Thats how good it was. The guava and apple empanadas were like fall in the mouth. Well be back. Everything else was phenomenal too. Mango, chicken. Xoxo.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, and one of the servers (a young lady) was very attentive and on top of everything. Unfortunately, the service from another server was disappointing. I've been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, and I quickly noticed some concerning practices: * He added a tip to my first check without clearly mentioning it, then took the check away very quickly. Later he returned with another receipt asking for additional tips, which could easily trick guests into tipping twice if they aren't paying close attention. * He was bussing tables and serving food without gloves, and I did not see him wash his hands before handling plates. That's a serious sanitation issue that could make someone sick. This place really needs a manager or supervisor keeping a closer eye on staff, because experiences like this can take away from how great the food is. Overall -- excellent food, but service and hygiene practices need serious improvement.

I ordered their picada for one with had a reasonable amount of meat, chicken, chorizo, morcilla and chicharrón. Everything was cooked to perfection. I ordered a beer and a Colombiana to make my own refajo which was refreshing. The service was ok, I feel like I had to keep flagging down the waiter for anything. My friend did not really like her margarita but did enjoy her food. I would come for a picada again and a beer.

The drinks were off I couldn't exactly point what was wrong. Maybe the Coke was flat I'm not sure but it just wasn't good. As for the food, my friend got the steak (well done which he says is the only way that steak should be eaten, I beg to differ) as well as the chicken. The food is incredibly land, and my chicken was honestly wet for a lack of better terms. I can't recall the last time that pechuga (chicken breast) was wet and that's probably because it's not supposed to be! The only reason that I gave this place two stars is that the employees here were nice, but I wouldn't return especially when there are many better spots nearby- not necessarily for Colombian food but great food in general.
