I've been coming to Sabor y Arte 6-7 days a week for lunch and have spent a lot of money here over time. I've overlooked plenty of issues because I understand lunch rushes can get busy, but today was the final straw. The problems start the moment you call. The phone experience is chaotic--loud music, employees yelling across the restaurant, multiple conversations happening at once, and it's nearly impossible to hear the person taking your order. It feels completely disorganized and unprofessional. Today I called in a simple lunch special order and arrived about 25-30 minutes later. My food wasn't ready. I then waited another 15 minutes, meaning I spent 45 minutes waiting for a basic lunch special. It got worse when I arrived at my second job to eat. The meal was carelessly thrown together, the food looked like slop, the rice was all over the container, and I received pork instead of the chicken I ordered. To top it off, I got one tiny sweet plantain with the meal. When I called to explain the situation, I was told I had to bring the food back to get a refund. After being a loyal customer who eats here almost every day, that's the level of customer service I received. There are too many good Colombian restaurants in the area to keep rewarding poor service, incorrect orders, and a lack of accountability. This was my last visit. I will be taking my business elsewhere and cannot recommend this place based on my experience. Loyal customers deserve better. read more

Found this restaurant on the American Airlines dining list. We were happily greeted when we entered, and quickly seated. It was a surprisingly small place, but it was bustling. The first thing to catch your eye is the mouth watering display of freshly baked breads and pastries. They also have a big screen cycling through drool worthy images of their dishes. We started with a pitcher of sangria, and ordered a chicken dish, a Hawaiian pork dish and a seafood dish. We all did our best to clean our plates, but none of us succeeded. Everything was well flavored. Although none of us spoke Spanish, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We watched a steady stream of people pick up take out or grab bakery items. It seems like a popular local spot and we can understand why. We couldn't help but gawk at everyone else's plates and everything looked delicious. Can't wait to return. Selected Sabor y Arte to watch a soccer match. Ambiance was good, staff welcoming and accommodating. Space was a bit tight probably due to excess soccer spectators!! Food was ok, only had a picadera, nothing wrong with it but not spectacular either, "se dejó comer". Alcohol was good and very fairly priced!! Good selection of local and Colombian beers. So I came here with some friends and it was an awesome experience. The whole ambiance is great and the service was awesome. We ordered off the specials of the day to have a surprise. It ended up being chicken and potato soup w/ grilled tilapia. The dish also came with sweet plantains, a safe salad of your choice , and some rice. Unfortunately the tilapia was fried and not grilled and there was waaaaaay too much sauce on the salad of beets and fish. This is a little place that is amazing. It's a hidden gem. The food here is amazing huge portions and affordable prices. I'm surprised it doesn't have many reviews and I'm glad I discovered this little place. They have fresh oj which i love and other fresh juices as well . They also sell pan dulce not sure wether or not they make it there. I don't recall what my breakfast was called but it was delicious. Super friendly service even though there was a language barrier. Got the bread with cheese and chicharron. The flaky bread was perfectly delicious although I was unfamiliar with the cheese inside. The cheese was on the dry side and a bit salty. The chicharron was crunchy as it should be and not at all salty, which was good! The prices were great as I only spent $7! I was drawn by the fact that they have a 2 for 1 before 8 pm during the week for happy hour. Food was good and so were the drinks. I came back with friends even though I don't speak Spanish very well. I noticed that the Bartending girls try to rip you off. I paid almost $40 for for drinks that's 2 for 1 . I asked about the bill being high and the bartender said I ordered the last drink after 8. Unless they forgot to change their clocks an hour back, that was not true. When bought to her attention she was not very nice. We are bankers and accountants, so we pay attention to bills and money. This place is a local gem. I absolutely love this place for quality food.. try the garlic chicken here because it is amazing. The plantains are really good too. I love all the lunch specials they have! I think dinner is a bit expensive for Spanish food.. but they give u a lot of food.. which makes it worth it. They have trouble understanding or speaking English if you do not speak spanish.. so try to go there without too many questions if you do not speak spanish.
