We've been coming here since the pandemic -- they opened just a week before lockdown, and we supported them with takeout back then. Once we were able to dine in, we've been coming back nonstop ever since. The food is incredible, hands down the best Colombian food in the area (and honestly much better than Noches -- less salty, more flavorful, and always consistent). Everything is on point whether you come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My go-to is the carne asada con arepa y queso, and my wife always gets the huevos rancheros. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is just as amazing as the food. Every single server is kind, welcoming, and so sweet. Our favorites are Liliana and Jennifer -- total sweethearts. The owner, Carlos, is wonderful too. Every time we walk in, we feel like family. The atmosphere was welcoming and lively. I was greeted promptly by a friendly young lady at the front and she suggested that I try the beef empanadas. They only cost a few dollars so I went ahead and bought two. So as I walked to the car, which was conveniently parked in the lot behind the restaurant, I immediately unwrapped my empanada. At first, I thought it was going to be like other empanadas that I've tried which have a crispy shell however these empanadas are similar in a way, but are very different in texture. These empanadas are a bit softer on the outside and have a denser inside filling which include potatoes and beef and it was quite delicious. I thought I could eat both of them, but after one I was full. I will definitely be back to the restaurant since I'm always in that area and it's literally five minutes from where I live. I can't wait to try other items on their menu.

They were served with a side of rice and refried beans. My husband ordered the whole red snapper fish that was served with rice and a side salad. My husband always enjoys getting a whole fish and he liked this fish very much. Everything here was very authentic and very delicious. The food arrived pretty quickly, i got to try the choros a la chalaca, pescado a la macho, and the jalea. My favorite of the three was the choros a la chalaca, which was mussels served cold topped with red onion, tomatos, and other seasonings. The pescado a la macho was a bit salty for me, and I've had better jalea at other restaurants in the area. Portions were pretty large, but prices weren't very low either. Not a bad spot for some Peruvian seafood.
