Sac Bar - Great drinks at good prices! - American Near Me - Three Forks, Montana

We went to the Sac Bar for a quick lunch and were just expecting bar food, but it was so much better than that. My husband and I got the wagyu burgers, which were perfectly cooked and served with fresh garnishes and a soft bun. Our daughter played it safe with the chicken fingers and fries. The chef included some of the vegetables of the day (spaghetti squash and roasted green beans), and she loved them so much, she skipped the fries! (We ate some and they were delicious - handmade and perfectly crisp.) If anyone is in Three Forks for a meal, I highly recommend dining at the Sac Bar rather than Pompey's Grill. Pompey's definitely wins on atmosphere, but the Sac Bar won for us on taste and price. read more

Have no clue why the ratings are so low. Everything that touched our mouths was a blessing from heaven. Let me tell you exactly what you should order: the poutine. We died and when to heaven. It's a huge serving, hearty, and so very flavorful. I ordered the porterhouse pork chop and it was seriously the best thing I've eaten. Great underground bar and grill under the hotel. We came for an early dinner before the rodeo and were one of the only ones there around 4:30pm. The server was nice and quick on getting us drinks. The kids soda plastic cups had cracks in them so they were leaking all over the table. The drink selection was pretty good! Kids had the Mac and cheese which was more like cheesy penne but they both loved it. We had the Sac Burger. Good size burger with all the toppings and fries. Mine was pretty over cooked and dried out sadly. Towards the end the server brought the tab, but one of our party wanted another drink so she seemed a little irritated to have to print a new tab. Bathrooms are small, basically one man or women at a time in their dedicated rooms. I can see when this place gets busier how people might need to wait for bathrooms. I would go back for sure, just some hiccups. read more

My dad and I are visiting Montana for the first time from Oregon, and this is the first place we got a bite to eat. Very cozy vibe, all the gals serving us were very nice. We decided to grab dinner at the Sac Bar given its proximity to the hotel. The staff in the bar were super friendly and helpful during our entire stay. Inside the barbwas clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Our evening started with a few drinks and poutine. The drinks were recommended by the staff and were very tasty. The poutine (sorry no pictures) had freshly cut fries with the right amount of gravy and cheese to provide a great starter dish to accompany our drinks. For dinner we ordered the Stetson and Chicken Fried Chicken. The salad had great smoked trout and a well balanced mix of vegetables. The wife really enjoyed the dish. I again asked the staff for a recommendation and ended up with the Chicken Fried Chicken. Unlike the salad, this dish was terrible. I could not eat the chicken. They stated it was freshly prepared, I would have to disagree. The texture of the chicken was rubber. The breading fell off the meat and the gravy was bland as can be. I only ate the vegetables for this dish. If you are in need of a meal, I would check out Sac Bar but would highly recommend not ordering the Chicken Fried Chicken. Cheers Always! read more

Unless you're a Wrangler and cowboy hat wearing local, don't even bother with this bar if the short blonde with the trucker cap is working. She straight up ignored me, even when I put cash on the bar. All I wanted was a shot of whiskey, the rest of that $20 would've been yours, sweetie. Talk to the bartender upstairs, she benefited from you refusing to acknowledge me. I'm sorry that you giving locals free drinks is more important than making tips from tourists at the HOTEL you work at. read more

We're staying at the hotel and just got back from enjoying Yellowstone national park wife and I wanted to enjoy a night cap so we went to the bar as we walked in we seen the male server take 2 beers to a table we asked the elder lady behind the bar if we could sit anywhere and she barley acknowledged us took one look at us and said (we stopped serving but the bar up the street would serve y'all ) . I had to apologize to the wife as it's her bday weekend and to be discriminated I'm sure because we're a shade darker I couldn't believe it so we walked out without being rude and walked across the street and bought some beer from the gas station. Now the hotel and service here is great we love it but the bar on the other hand under the hotel we couldn't believe we were being racially profiled unbelievable. People pls don't bother going to the bar if you're not Caucasian you'll be turned away! read more

Omg this place is raddd. We are staying at the hotel. And I wanted live music so bad. Coming from Cali and covid it's hard to find but u guys delivered! The tenderloin fettuccini was delicious so was my husband's pork chop. Dessert also on point. The staff was great. I think because there were so many of them good teamwork! read more

Stopped in on a Sunday mid afternoon with some friends for a late lunch. The food was delicious and although they were busy they were hustling to get things to us quickly and efficiently. It was a little dark for an afternoon, but a bar is a bar! This is on my list to try again. read more

I'f I could give this place a 0 I would but yet I cannot. So my husband and I went there to have some drinks and the bartenders were so racist towards us because were darker (Native American) and she totally blew us off. One example she bought shots for everyone except us at the bar and another example is that the people in this town are soooo racist!!! They tried to fight us both over nothing!
