When we saw Iron Horse Cafe, we crossed our fingers and pulled over. While they didn't have a huckleberry pie, they did have a great selection of homemade options (see photo) and since I can never pass up a rhubarb pie, I got their strawberry rhubarb. It was chunky and delicious with sweet and sour flavor and the crust was to die for! It was so good I had to steal it back from my husband. The cafe is really cute and was full of people, but unfortunately we learned that the owners will be retiring and this great stop will be closing down in just a few weeks. We ordered the classic and the classic light, some sides, coffee and tea. The food was excellent. Eggs were great, liked the chives on top, bacon was crispy and the side fruit tasted very fresh and wasn't the usual bland melon mix you get in lots of other places.
