    Carrot cream cheese ice cream

This is the best ice cream in Denver. My favorite flavor was the carrot cream cheese ice cream but I also loved their salted caramel cookie dough, lemon shortcake, animal cookie, peach crumble and earl grey cookies n creme. There is no physical shop and it's pints only (used to offer half pints but I haven't seen those in a whole. You preorder Monday at 10am (and if you don't get on right at that time you likely won't get all the ones you want). If you follow on Instagram you will likely get some hints about a new flavor but otherwise you don't know what's available until 10 am hits. Pickup is Thursdays from 4-6pm, Friday 12-1:30 or Saturday 11-12:30 and you are supposed to select which timeslot when ordering. Parking is a bit of a nightmare which is annoying for such a quick pick up.

Sadboy Creamery was unreal. My partner stumbled upon their instagram page right before we landed in Denver and thank goodness she did. The concept of it is the coolest part - a pop up ice cream shop in a secret location with a 3 hour pick up window. I love it; it just feels so exclusive. We got what they had available that day which was the apple cider sherbet push pop. I wish someone would've recorded my reaction so I could post it here. I was absolutely blown away. Such a vibrant flavor, and yet somehow fizzy as well?! How! It was arguably the wildest ice cream I've ever had. It was addicting. I wish so bad I could've had more. Our secret location was on the second floor of a yoga studio in a tiny little office, the distributor showed us a cute location where we could peacefully eat our push pops and it was so nice. The distributor was very kind as well. He packaged everything very nicely and was very helpful in explaining their concept. It was so awesome! You have to go!

What a fun new concept for Denver ice cream!! Order your ice cream on Monday- usually a couple fun flavors to choose from. And then a few pick up times during the week. All hand crafted and unique flavors brainstormed each week. Creamy. Sweet. Delicious. Love supporting this local biz!

Another awesome ice cream spot in Denver. Bonnie Brae Ice Cream might officially have one of my…read morefavorite ice cream flavors I've ever had: the Oatmeal Raisin. They don't just make the ice cream taste like oatmeal raisin cookies; there are huge chunks of actual oatmeal raisin cookies mixed throughout, which made it even better. If you're an oatmeal raisin cookie fan like I am, this flavor is an absolute must-try!! I also tried the Salted Oreo. I normally love a salty-and-sweet combo, but this one leaned a little too salty for my personal taste. Still good, just not quite as much of a standout for me as the oatmeal raisin. Overall, definitely a spot worth checking out, and I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors.

It always hits the spot and I never get tired of it. It has that classic neighborhood feel where there is usually a line outside, but it is always worth the wait. The Order: Salted Oreo & Price The Salted Oreo is my go-to because it has the perfect sweet and salty balance I love. If I'm not getting that, I'm getting the Lemon Custard. Both are incredible. For a double scoop in a cup, it cost about $8-$9. While they have great vegan and dairy-free options, the Salted Oreo I get is their traditional dairy version. Homemade: One of the reasons it tastes so good is that they make their own ice cream and cones right on-site! You can really taste the difference in the freshness of the scoops and the crunch of the waffle cones. Customer Service: Even when it's packed inside with people ready to order, the staff is very quick and efficient. The customer service is great, which is impressive considering how busy they usually are. Parking: A huge plus for this location is the free street parking, making it an easy and accessible stop compared to other busy areas. Overall Experience: I managed to time my last visit earlier in the day to beat the line, but even when it's busy, the quality is top-tier. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! It's a local gem that truly deserves more hype.

This tiny, adorable hole-in-the-wall shop is everything you want in a neighborhood ice cream spot -- warm, welcoming, unpretentious, and run by two of the most genuinely lovely women I've ever encountered in the food service industry. From the moment our group of six walked in, we felt like we'd been coming here for years. They were patient, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about every single thing they make. Now let me talk about the ICE CREAM, because wow. Six people, multiple flavors between us, and not one single complaint -- which if you know my family, is basically a miracle. Everything was rich, creamy, and tasted completely homemade in the best possible way. But the thing that absolutely sent me over the edge? BANANA PUDDING. Multiple banana pudding options. I grew up in the South and I have been low-key grieving the lack of banana pudding culture everywhere else I've lived, and here it is -- in Denver, Colorado -- done absolutely right. I may have embarrassed myself slightly. No regrets. This is a Black woman-owned business and these two have built something truly special. It's family-friendly, it's joyful, and it has that rare quality of feeling like a place that was made with real love. If you're anywhere near the museum, you would be genuinely doing yourself a disservice to walk past this place. Go in. Get the banana pudding. Thank me later.
