I have never been to a place that makes you fill out a form with all your personal information. I don't understand why they need this??? I have been told by others they won't go there because of this bizarre practice. I went there with my wife. I didn't like being patted down hard at the front door like I was a convicted felon. Once inside, the bartenders are friendly and it's probably the fastest service in downtown Mobile I have seen. The bathrooms are nasty just like any bar. The low rating is for having to give all your personal information and pat down like a felon. The bar itself is 5 star. read more

It's been a few years since I've gone out to a club. In fact, I've never gone to any in Mobile so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was my girl Rachel T.'s birthday and we did a day just for her. This is where we ended our night, on a high note, I might add. When we first walked in I was totally impressed with the band. They were laid back and chill, and actually played a few songs better than the original artists. I knew we had come to right place. There was quite a lively crowd of all ages, and they weren't staggering down drunk. There were a few tables, plenty of bar stools, and a large dance floor. They had a decent selection of beer and all the liquor necessary for any mixed drinks we might have wanted. The prices weren't bad. When the bartender found out it was Rachel's birthday, he bought her a shot. Way cool, Bartender Dude, way cool. Actually, the entire crowd there was pretty cool. My only complaint, and I know it was Saturday night in a bar, but the ladies room ran out of toilet paper, and that's just gross. Not to mention, it's also bad for the plumbing because they should know we're going to use hand towels. Other than that, if you want to go dance to live music in Mobile, this place would be my first (possibly only) choice of places to do just that. read more

I was just passing through town on a road trip and stopped in Mobile for the night. Found this place and was super excited about there being a country bar. Ended up being extremely disappointing. I was there on a Thursday night so idk what the weekends are like. But the place was dead. I got there around 10 and left at around 11. I think a total of 8 people walked in and out of the place that whole time. Probably because the "DJ" was just horrible. Didn't know how to transition between songs and played more hiphop than country music. My favorite part though was the crude DVD they have playing on a loop behind the bar of silhouetted naked strippers dancing. And not well I might add. Really guys...? -_- Only positive is that they have some good drink specials during the week. As much as I love me some alcohol, it's not enough to make me go back or recommend this place to anyone else. read more

the freaking worst! the worst bartenders! awful atmosphere! the bartenders are extremely rude and dismissive.

The bouncer was great by not having active duty military not pay the cover charge. However, the bartenders leave much to be desired. First off, I'm a little wary that they were even of legal age to serve booze. Second, they were so busy fawning over a crowd of college boys and giving out free drinks that it took forever to get her/them to look our way. I'm thinking maybe because they were doing shots with the boys that they were too intoxicated to remember that they were working. When we finally did get a bartender's attention (and clearly interrupted their party) the service was ok. We left after one drink and I'm pretty sure our bartender woke up with a hangover today if she was throwing back drinks all night like I saw during our 20 min stay. read more

I visited here tonight and ordered four drinks total. My friends and I had to combine orders after waiting 35 minutes to place our order. There was only one bartender working! After initially feeling sympathetic, she got my order wrong. When I tried to ask her for the correct drink order, she immediately became hostile and rude. She used several profanities and told me that I should try to "walk my ass behind the bar and help her out" and "that if I had a problem with it to get the **** out." I have never been spoken to in such a manner, and I will never be returning. This establishment is a SHAME to downtown mobile and the bar scene in general. I truly hope the manager is able to find new staff and make lots of room for improvements, starting with with bartender. read more

I come here typically with my friends every Thursday for a fun night on the town. However, last night made me question whether or not I should continue going. The female bartender last night was the only one working for most of the night, and I felt bad since it was definitely a busy night. But sympathy soon turned to annoyance after I stood at the bar for 45 minutes trying to get a drink. I would try to get her attention, and much to my dismay, she only would serve the male customers. Every. Single. Time. I soon noticed the trend when another one of my girlfriends came to the bar to order a drink and was waiting the long and eventually unsuccessful wait for a drink. I ended up having one of the guys at the bar buy my drink, and within 5 minutes of doing so I had a drink in my hand. It's not that I was loudly complaining, screaming, or being plain rude either. I was just a girl, standing at the front of the bar, cash in my hand, surrounded by guys who got their after me but got a drink before me. So, if you're a guy going to this bar, you're in luck! You'll be served because you're a dude. But if you're a girl, you probably won't even be served due to you're "b***hing," as the sign by the bar says, whether you've been saying anything or not at all.
