WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!! They gave me a full set, but the minute I opened my eyes, they were burning, and my lashes looked fake and heavy. Immediately after, they were rock hard to the touch and all stuck together- I couldn't even comb a mascara wand through them. I called Maria and begged her to help me. She got me in the next day and safely removed my poorly done extensions. I literally felt like she saved my life! Maria is knowledgeable, sweet and professional. Pros: Staff is nice & quickly responsive…read more Cons: 50%+ of lashes were gone within a couple of days I have been to deka lash twice, the first time 60% of my lashes fell off one eye within 2 days, within one week I had ONE lash left between both my eyes. I didn't get them wet within the first 48 hours, I didn't use any makeup, I didn't go in the water, I didn't use any oils on my face. I was extremely disappointed and very surprised. I called to let Deka know and they immediately follow up to set up a an appt to fix them. The woman who had done them the first time was the same one to fix them. I expressed how frustrated I was and while she was very nice about it, she kept trying to push the value of the post-care product that I should be buying to make them last longer. I've never had to do that with any other place. After the fix up, my lashes lasted maybe 10 days with just a handful of the lashes left. I'm giving two stars because at least Deka tried. I am comparing Deka to when I lived in nyc I used to get my lashes done every 4-5 weeks, and that was totally sufficient and priced well. My lashes only came out when the natural cycle of my real lashes fell out.

I've had lashes done at other places and they've lasted 2 to 3 weeks before needing a refill. I literally have no extensions left on one eye, and only two on the other eye. I even purchased the special brush and cleaner, and followed directions to the letter. When I called to ask if I could get them filled again I was told yes, but I would have to pay the full amount for a fill. My phone call to let them know that I had almost no lashes left was seven days after I had the service. Apparently I had to notify them within five days in order to get a fill at no charge. I certainly will never go back to this company - they're not interested in maintaining clients.

I was very specific about what I wanted and told the spa tech Amy that I was looking for natural hybrid lashes. She gave me Mega Volume Lashes which I absolutely hate. They are too long and too thick and stiff. The brow lamination came out great but lasted only a week, when it should last at least 4-5 weeks. Needless to say it was a complete disaster and was not worth $400. I will be going back to my previous place. They are ALOT cheaper and do a much better job. Now I understand why Emera Lash had plenty of openings and my other spa was fully booked. Not sure how this place has 5 stars when it doesn't even deserve 1.
