I'm not really sure how they are goin go to get more business because it's not really listed on Yelp/Apple Maps, etc., but the business is inside the Lash Day Spa. I guess it's a hidden GEM! And I'm glad I found it (just by driving past going to the cleaners)! The staff is super nice! It does stand out from the surrounding commerce since it's exterior is all white; stairs, trellis, landscaping, etc. Inside is very quaint, but nice. The slat cave is just ethereal without being over the top. I do love over the top, but that's also expensive I'm sure. But for what it is, a re-worked basement; the salt covers the floor and then there's salt bricks aligning parts of the wall. Additional salt configurations around the room. Twinkle lights on the ceiling. It's so peaceful. I would come everyday if I could. And the prices are reasonable. ...I think. read more

Newcomer. Decided to try this place out based on other Yelp reviews; I was not disappointed I came here already having lash extensions from another salon, and I was not happy with the results so they needed to be fixed ASAP. Thanh was my artist and she did an amazing job - very thorough and gentle, despite the prior place sticking the extensions to my actual lashes. She did her best to detangle and still give me the natural look I want. These lashes are much lighter and feel better already. Thanh emphasizes keeping my natural lashes healthy in addition to having extensions to make them look fuller. Which I appreciate as not many places will care about the health of your natural lashes, and only care about their business (like the place I went to prior.) I hope there's minimal fall out and plan to go back in a couple of weeks so Thanh can work her magic! COVID adaptations: all staff had masks on, and Thanh washed her hands every time she left the bed, even if she was working on the same client. There's hand sanitizer all around the salon, and each artist was also wearing a coat similar to a transparent lab coat and gloves. Misc: the music was really nice, and the ambience is fairly soothing. The manicure/pedicure area is separated from the lash area - I did notice a sign that said all nail services are $2 extra right now due to COVID. It can get a little cool inside the salon; there was another girl next to me also getting lashes done and Thanh noticed we were both cold, so she covered us in new blankets Like most salons, there is an incentive if you pay with cash in the form of a percentage off your 9th or 10th visit, but no discount on the price of individual service itself. Online booking is pretty simple, but their text confirmations do not have the times of the appointments, which would be helpful. I have been a client on Thanh's for years. I've been stopped by strangers to tell me how beautiful my lashes are. The salon is so beautiful and her staff are incredible!! Charles is always so accommodating and professional. Tonight I had micro blading done to my eyebrows. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: I've been coming to this establishment for a few months and was relatively satisfied with the service until they brought in a new front desk person and associate (he is a young man with glasses). This week, they canceled my appointment without notification at all and totally wasted my time. No text, no call, no email to tell me they had to cancel at all. No problem, I understand these things happen, so I rescheduled. I told them that this is unacceptable and as a customer, they should comp my service for being so negligent. The young man agreed to this and I rebooked. When I came back for my reschedule appointment however, after I got my service done, the same young man fought me on what he originally promised and tried to charge me and totally went back on his word!! After about 15 minutes of arguing with him he finally did what he promised in the first place, and said "ok Serena that's enough you're not welcome here anymore." I made an appointment about 5-6 weeks ago and took the day off of work to have a facial for my birthday. I emailed two weeks to ask a question about the service to which they replied and told me appointment was 'no longer available' with no explanation. I emailed back right away (a week ago) to ask them why they waited for me to email them to cancel and I have not received a response. I get that things happen but they should have told me ahead of me reaching out to to them and they should have responded to my email back a week ago. I have had acrylic nails for 8 years, dip powder for 2 and I have never been so unhappy with my nails as I have been after trying Thanh's for the first time two weeks ago. Every single one of my nails is broken, 3 have just fallen off without breaking, without seemingly any reason at all. I still have another week until I would typically get my nails done again (dip powder should last 3 weeks) but I'm currently scrambling to get my nails done sooner than normal. AND to top it all off, I paid double what I pay at my normal salon ($60 after tip!!!) I've been getting my nails done so long I recognized mistakes as they were happening and tried to correct but was completely ignored (maybe a language barrier?) but regardless, absolutely would never go back unless I got a FULL refund for this disgraceful UPDATE: 12/10: careful when you leave a bad review ladies, I have literally been HARRASSED by the people who own this place- they have called me on 3 separate occasions (first saying "oh I hope you received your refund") and when I say I did it's then "please remove your review because we are trying to help our business" I'm gotten messages on yelp from them saying to remove it as well. I'm sorry, but a refund does not change the fact that my experience was awful. Sure, a bad review doesn't help but let your work improve and let that speak for itself. This morning was the last straw...The fact that I just got a phone call at 9am telling me to take off my review is honestly not okay. Over a month later, I stand by my review more than ever and I will not remove it. I went in yesterday to get my eyelashes done. The building was very nice clean and welcoming. Strictly following Covid guidelines, they allow appointments only and there's no more than three clients in the building at a time getting services done. My lash tech was very kind she's very professional and I left the building without feeling irritation, no lashes falling out and the glue was not too strong for my eyes. As an Asian girl with short lashes, I'm always in search of a good eyelash extension place. This place is quite possibly the best lash extensions I've had! I've been to about 5 different places (in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Puerto Rico). So bummed I don't live here and only visiting because I would be a regular customer! I started coming to Thanh's about 6 months ago at the recommendation of a close friend. I should probably send her a gift basket because I have never loved a salon so much. The salon itself is clean, quiet, and cheerfully decorated. Thanh and her staff are knowledgeable, communicative, and so friendly. They always make me feel right at home and I genuinely look forward to my appointments there. Kat typically does my nails and I cannot recommend her enough! She is an absolute perfectionist and does the best job of any nail technician I have ever worked with. She turned me onto dip powder and I will absolutely never go back to acrylics or gel. She is always honest with me and makes great suggestions/recommendations. The way Kat does my nails, you literally can't tell that they're extensions. I work in jewelry sales and have had so many clients compliment them thinking that they're my real nails. Kat does my friend's lashes and they always look incredible. I always hear Kat's lash clients raving about her. Since Kat is usually booked solid, I usually have Han do my lashes and she is also fabulous! She is so meticulous and always goes the extra mile to make my lashes look amazing. I always feel comfortable and relaxed during our sessions and we have so much fun chatting. I should also add that I brought a friend here for pedicures once and we both had great experiences. If I recall correctly, it was Thanh and Lisa who did our pedicures. I came in for a pedicure and dip manicure by appointment. The place is clean and quiet which was great. My pedicure came out awesome and Annie really took her time. I'm giving 3 stars however because my dip manicure looked very sloppy and rushed. She kept filing my nails down nearly to the skin, and applied several layers of the powder making my nails look too thick. I also had a cut on my finger that I asked her to be careful with and I think she might've forgotten about it. I feel like the price was pretty steep for an unimpressive job. read more

I went in to get my lashes lifted. The first time I went, they were unable to get them to curl despite working on it for a longer period of time. I had never had my lashes curled so was not upset by this and just assumed that was why. They did offer to "try again" at no additional cost and asked me to come back a week later. I came back and they did it for even longer. This time it did work and looked great but 1-2 weeks after my lashes started falling out like crazy and my eyelids have been so painful. After doing some research I am only realizing now that they probably over did it on my lashes. I wish they would have told me the risks of getting it done twice in 1 week. If I knew my lashes would be falling out like this I would have never agreed to it. Although they were very nice, I would be beware of agreeing to a lash lift especially if it does not work the first time. I have had my lashes done at several other locations but so far I am in love with Thanh's. I had my initial lash extensions put in (the 2D) and just had a refill done after 2 weeks. So far so good! They have lasted throughout the warm weather with no problem. Compared to other places around, the prices are hard to beat as well. I have seen and heard many other happy clients who have been coming back for eyelash refills. The staff is very kind and friendly, too. I've had no problems making appointments- one day I called and was able to come in the same day, the other I made my appointment in advance. I went into Thanh's to get my lashes filled about a month ago. My lash technician recommended that she remove my current lashes (because they were done at another salon) and she give me a new full set. Not my first choice, but I trust her expert opinion so sure. i guess i'll spend double the amount of money! I've gotten full sets 4 other times, so I knew I would be sitting for much longer than expected but I knew it couldn't be that bad. Well I was wrong. FOUR HOURS LATER. four hours. with no warning that it will take that long. Imagine laying down with tape on your bottom eyelashes, with a hot and bright lamp over your eyes, with no sense of time for FOUR hours. After those dreaded four hours, I still paid and tipped and was polite. I thought I was being over dramatic. I get home and realize that my bottom eye lashes have a few fake lashes attached to them, so when I blink my eyelashes get stuck together. I had to rip these off my bottom lashes in order to comfortably blink. Which was quite painful as you could imagine. The next morning, I looked in the mirror and realized I had gotten pink eye in my right eye. I took care of it and called a few days later and they told me to come back in so they can see what was wrong. Understandable, but why would I be comfortable having these ladies work on my eyes with their tools and supplies that gave me pink eye? I'm all set. All I wanted was my money back for my pink eye, but I accepted I wasn't going to get my money back because I was not going to step foot in there again. Also, when I called to cancel my next appointment, I was told I didn't have an appointment for eyelashes but instead nails. What? Makes no sense! The reason I gave two stars is because although it was a horrific experience, the workers were friendly and they had a cute bathroom. read more

My appointment was at noon and by 130/140 I was out of the store and back in my car. I'm used to minimum 3hr appointment with those so that was super fast and comfortable for me. **BAD PLACE** I called and got a price of $19 for a manicure. So I drove there and another lady(might have been the same lady on the phone) told me they "don't do nails on Sunday". What? Thanh is an amazing eyelash artist. She takes the care to meticulously make sure your lashes are perfect. You would not be disappointed. She truly cares about each one of her clients and is one of most hardworking business owners. She always goes the extra mile, whether it be coming in early or staying late to make sure all her clients schedules are accommodated and sets are proficiently complete. The lashes are placed and last for well over 3 weeks without falling out. The salon is serene and clean. She is very fast to please and very professional. Where do I start? I was recommended Thanh by a good friend of mine. She does a good job at lashes but is one of the most unprofessional people I've ever gone too. First off, she EATS while she's doing your lashes. Doesn't sanitize her hands before working on you. She is really rough on pulling your eyelids. And worst of all she and her front desk lady (aka daughter) never get back to you when you try to make appointments.
