First thing first, she is NOT located at the current address that's listed here. Nor is she located in third ward like the previous review states. She's actually located in Humble on the Northside of Houston right off 1960. Some fairly new apartments. Literally about 2 minutes from Dearbrook Mall off 59N. Let's just say this is a horrible horrible horrible business person! Horrible. I booked an appointment w/ her and paid a $50.00 deposit using my hard earned money. The appointment was originally scheduled for 2:00pm. At the last minute (1:15pm)Sadestyledme txt me talking about a teacher stepping down & some type of letter grade which I wasn't too sure what she was talking about. But basically she had to push back my scheduled appointment to 3:00pm for her own personal reasons. I was upset because due to me living so far & trying to avoid traffic I was already on my way so I wouldn't be late. She constantly goes on & on about stupid late policy on her page & how she isn't going to work around the clients schedule but expect us to work around hers. Who cares about your letter grade? You have a business to run & you should've arranged your schedule to accommodated herself as well as ME the client. So I literally arrived at her apartments at 2:00pm and waited in the parking lot because I didn't want to be late. I had plans & really needed my hair done. So I informed Sadestyledme at maybe 2:50pm that I was already there parked by building TWO as she stated for me to do in her email. I asked her what was the apartment number, she stated that she was going to text me in a few the directions to come up. So I waited. . 10 minutes later she text me saying she was barely turning on 1960. By then it was 3:00pm, I was suppose to be in the chair already! Thirty minutes later, still no arrival. So I had already been sitting in my car wasting gas & blasting my A/C and had to use the restroom so I drove to the office & used the bathroom because I didn't want to drive too far just in case she came home. Finally, around 3:30pm she text me the apartment number telling me it was okay to come up. So I informed her that I was on the way, I went to the office to use the restroom because I had been holding my bladder for about an 1hour & 30 minutes for her to arrive. She then text me back immediately saying that she cancelled my appointment due to me "violating her privacy". Take note that I hadn't been upstairs to her apartment or even seen her face to face. So I was kinda puzzled on how i violated her privacy. I text her back several times trying to get answers, she never answered. No response. I called her, no response! I then left and got in my car. I was extremely upset because I wasted my time and gas. It's now 4:00pm and I been at this location for TWO hours, because my appointment was scheduled for 2:00pm. She rescheduled for 3:00pm and was thirty minutes late! Once I left I realized she sent me an email about my appointment cancellation. I messaged her back several inquiries on why was my appointment was cancelled. Can you believe she told me because I used the restroom in her front complex office?!?!?! She said I should've used a public restroom. For one I was upset because if she would've arrived on time to our appointment I would've been inside of her apartment and could've used the rest room there. But being that I had already been waiting on her for two hours I couldn't hold my bladder anymore ! I was more shocked because her apartment complex office is a public place, w/ a public restroom. I'm not sure if she thought only she was able to gain access there or what but there's more. I emailed her back about how unprofessional she was and that I wanted my deposit back, can you believe she started texting me mean vulgar & abusive language? She even told me to come back to her apartment complex to FIGHT! can you believe that? Who tries to fight their client?? Not to mention that I still haven't gotten my $50 deposit back. She said she would give me the deposit back but never did. Then she charged my card the $50 deposit 2 more times later that evening . So she has $150 of MY MONEY & I didn't receive ANY services. I have several emails of her unprofessional customer service and unhealthy attitude. I wouldn't dare recommend ANYBODY in their right mind to visit her apartment, because she is a kitchen stylist! Then she posted my text messages online on her business page with my picture but left out everything she said to me! She has craft but no real customer service, self respect or home training! * update * I was ON TIME @2pm & her policy NEVER stated that I couldn't go to the office to use the restroom! That's not violating her privacy. She's just running an illegal business and scared! I had been waiting outside for 2 HOURS! I had to use the restroom! Horrible! I had to get my deposit back from my bank because she would not give me a refund! She's a scammer & fraud. & tried to fight me because she was guilty and wrong! read more

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. I was going to be a new client. Keyword: WAS. I arrived about 35 minutes early and sent a text. I didn't have any service, so I sent another one. You can see the photos attached. She asked me not to "double text" her. I contemplated if I I should just drive off because of her attitude, but I took the high road and waited it out. At 6:01 PM, she sent a riddle text to me to find her apartment: "You may walk around along side the sidewalk to your left, then a right. Five doors down." She refused to give the apartment number, so I took every route I possibly could with the vague directions she provided. I waited outside several doors and even asked people that were standing outside, but still nothing. She refused to give the apartment number, and instead, only asked, "Did you walk around along side the sidewalk to your left, then a right. Five doors down?" When I told her yes and which apartment number I was outside, she said I would now have to rebook. Her confirmation states: "New clients, don't panic, just communicate through text and we will work out anything needed." Which I tried to do as you can see. She called me at 6:15 PM, 14 minutes after her initial instructions and cussed me out. Yes, cussed me out. I even tried to explain to her that I only sent an additional text because I didn't have signal in her apartment complex. She proceeded to say, "That don't have shit to deal with shit. I'm so sick of y'all new clients." She cussed me out some more and hung up in my face when I asked if was she serious. She immediately charged me $175 in addition to the $50 deposit while I was still walking around looking for her apartment, with a grand total of $225 for a service I never received. I have never experienced anything like this and would NEVER recommend her to ANYONE. Walking around with that much cash on me in an unfamiliar area was very dangerous. I was not aware that she did hair out of her apartment until after I already booked the $50 "non-refundable" deposit. Sade has several reviews with situations similar to mine and apparently a very bad reputation of professionalism. I was informed by several others that during Hurricane Harvey, a very unfortunate time in our city, she charged clients that had no road access due to being flooded in for services. She has refused to communicate with me and anyone on my friend's list and has blocked me and them on everything. She was also featured on The Shaderoom for her hostile and belligerent personality. This must be thrilling to her and for publicity. Be wise and DO NOT BOOK HER! UPDATE: Sade has continued to post false information of this incident and rants on Instagram Live about this. I have still not received a refund. The situations and posts she makes from people cussing her out are from OTHER angry clients, not me, because of her unprofessionalism. On her posts, she is claiming to have refunded me $175 (not my full $225) and claims I took a hiatus. I've made over 15 accounts trying to contact her and she deletes and blocks each and everyone, disables the comments so that people cannot post, and blocks anyone who comments on my posts so that her followers (that she most likely purchased) don't see the truth. To her followers, she is claiming I did not follow "protocol." When I arrived, the apartment gate was open with SEVERAL cars behind me. Instead of me sitting there at an OPEN gate, holding up traffic, people honking at me, and me disturbing her for gate access (because the gate was OPEN), yes, I proceeded to drive in AND let her know 40 minutes in advance that I was there waiting in my car and would continue to wait (patiently and gladly) because the gate was already open. It has been about two weeks since I was able write my testimony. This review includes my initial install and the quality of the foundation. In getting my installation I was extremely tired and barely held my crown up, but that was no problem for Sade, she was able to work around it. That was a tell-tell sign she knew what she was doing. She braided along my hair line which is the base braid of the foundation, she ensured there was little tension on all base braids which is about 2 to 3 in my case by adding braiding hair. All other supporting braids within the foundation was braided in the shape of my crown and with no additional hair. What I think is significant about her foundation is that she uses no lace for security or the addition of braiding hair throughout, however the foundation is tight to scalp with little to no tension or pulling. So this allowed for the sewing portion of the install to go smoothly without pull. In her sewing process she made sure to sew just braid, meaning she did not nik my scalp with the needle at any time while getting I was getting sewed down. Sade told me exactly how many needles, I used 10. She also mentioned how long I should expect her to sew in each bundle, approximately 10-13 minutes. Sade cut little off the bundles when shaping the install to face and lined my ends so that the install was uniform throughout, which allows me to reuse this hair if I choose to. I want to stress that after only 2 days my sew-in was flat! As with all sew-ins you must allow time for it to calm down. I have NEVER experienced a install wherein I was able to sleep on it with NO problems day 1 and pull it up after day 2. Sade in a word is TALENTED!!! If you are interested in getting QUALITY work done, she is the go-to. Please respect her talent because she is deserving of such. I have gotten several compliments on my hair and have recommended her to several women. I hope if you are equally impressed with the work you've receive you will take time to do the same. read more

Love Sade! I got my hair done today by her and have no regrets. From the time I booked my appointment to the time I left her chair, she was nothing less of friendly. She's very personable and real. My experience was very unique but she made the best of it. I showed up with two bundles of 14inch "vrigin" wavy hair. The company was a new company I've never tried before so I was excited. I wanted my hair to be straightened and curled but once we got started the "virgin hair" started acting up. She had worked with this company's hair before and knew it wasn't the best. So she advised me to wear it in it's natural state, and I was okay with that. THEN, I thought my two bundles would be enough because I've worked with just two bundles before but I guess these budles were not as full as I thought so I ran out of hair :/ Most stylist would probably have just said ah well and looked at me to do something about it but she graciously just started putting in her brand of deep wave in my head to complete my style. I was embarrased about the whole situation but she turned it around for me. The hair blended really well and was waayy better than the hair that I already had. Once she was done she had used a whole bunlde of her 12inch deep wave hair. And not once did she tell me or ask me to pay for it. But of course I did because it was only right. My hair still was bomb even after the small mishap and she was so calm and cool about the whole thing. I will defeintely be going back to her (with better hair) !! read more

I'm from Miami and I'm happy to have find Sade as a hairstylist So where do I start? I purchased 4 bundles from her and text her prior to my scheduled appointment date regarding my light brown hair color. She confirmed that her bundles come in a light brown color so I should be good. Well when I got to her chair my hair color was actually 2-3 shades lighter than the purchased bundles. Sade immediately noticed and without me even saying a word she initiated coloring one of the bundles to match my hair with my permission. I was extremely shocked that she did that and didn't ask for extra payment and made didn't me feel guilty about it. Typically stylist ignore the color difference but she didn't. She's OCD about her craft. She genuinely care about your hair and if you're satisfied with it. She braided my hair (that's long and thick) as flat as possible. Her sew-in and styling technique is meticulous. Can't express the feeling you feel once you leave her chair! Just take a look at my hair y'all ! Her work speaks for itself so I'm done ranting! Let me just start off my saying , never judge a person based off of the things you see and or hear. Things did start off a little rocky for me , only because I texted her outside of her business hours. I was waiting for a confirmation but by me texting outside of her business hours I did not receive that confirmation until later the next day. Her rules are in place for a reason to avoid misunderstandings like that. When she did respond she let me know that it was outside of her business hours and so that's why my response was delayed. Upon arrival she was very FUNNY and professional! Her work space was very neat and orderly and smelled amazing !! I am natural and my hair is mid-back length. I booked the sew-in install and got the deep side part style. My bang can be worn in my face and outside of my face. My hair is always layered to perfection !!! My appointment with Shamika Williams "Sadestyledme" was scheduled for October 20th. On October 19th I received a call from shamika stating that she had to reschedule my appointment due to her being out of town on set for Solange video shoot. I agreed to reschedule the appointment for the following saturday October 27th at 3pm. On saturday I arrived on time and texted shamika "Here" like stated in her instructions. After calling her multiple times and waiting an hour I decided to leave. I recieved a call from her at 6pm that evening stating she was at the hospital and did I want to reschedule or get my $50 deposit back. I told her that I would just like my deposit back. Today is Monday and I have yet to receive my deposit back nor do I believe she ever had the intentions of returning it. Do not waste your time booking her.
