Worst customer service experience. Asked for a prescription refill and left a voicemail Oct 2…read more Never got a call back. Boyfriend called regarding this prescription Oct 14. Went thru hoops to get misleading information. Ended up talking to officer manager Kelly who asked if we needed anything else but hung up on us when we voiced our need to stay on the line as we were waiting for an email from her. Corporate supposedly mailed a letter regarding insurance changes and the assigned doctor leaving but the office refused to send it via email. Next call got us to a different office desk personnel who said that Kelly ended up emailing us anyway which we have yet to receive. Worst part was that they laughed at my boyfriend while on the call over something he took very seriously to get information about. Very unprofessional to laugh over the request of information and to belittle somebody who is already upset of how the office handled this situation and another that he called about the day before. At the end of the day, these are the things where they did me wrong as a mom of a 2 y.o. whose kid is suffering from severe eczema: 1. Never gave me the call back to at least acknowledge the voicemail --What is the point of a voicemail if it is left unheard? 2. Had to be the one to call them regarding the request 12 days ago. --If they told me earlier, then I would have figured out a different provider sooner so I can get the medication my kid uses asap 3. Laughed at a frustrated and upset client who sincerely requested for someone able to help us which then led to him being very pissed off even more 4. No apology for the mistakes of #s 1 thru 3 and even a denial of #3. 5. Gave us the name of Gino (no last name given nor the title except he is higher on the rank above office manager Kelly) who should be calling us regarding our issues with no timeframe whatsoever.

Dr. Elliot and all the doctors and staff are the best. I have went here for many years.read more

Yes I felt it. I thought it was another shot but hurt a lot more. But I told her to finish. Secondly, she asked if I wanted any bumps removed I said no and she assured me it was without cost. So I did it. Less than a month later and before my insurance paid for the visit, I got a $200 bill for that removal. I'm not going to pay it! Doctors are now slam charging people. You better pay attention to what you're getting billed anymore. They take advantage of patients that will pay it and don't know it or know any better! Watch out for franchised practices they are out to take your money at all cost. I've dealt with others before like this and it's a fast in fast out and have bogus charges with unnecessary treatment. Watch OUT!

I saw Dr. Laing for a skin outbreak issue and she sent me home with some medication. I noticed some new issues on my skin and called the office - the woman I spoke with - who apparently had no medical knowledge - told me I should come in again. I returned for another visit and Dr. Laing saw me for 30 seconds and said I shouldn't have come in, I needed to wait out the medication. Then their office proceeded to bill me for the nonessential visit and I got a $70 bill. I called the office and explained that I was incorrectly directed to come into the office and I wasn't really seen at all. Their raised my concerns with Dr. Laing and she said too bad - you scheduled, so you have to pay. I went in one more time, and I had a few questions about hair loss and potential dermatology issues. Dr. Laing said she couldn't discuss it at all and hair issues had to be a totally separate visit in three parts. The first visit she could discuss the issue with me and the second visit she could examine and the third visit she would talk through the diagnosis, if any. And I'm sure she would be billing the whole time! I switched to Granger Dermatology over on Huron Parkway and they are wonderful! I had a quick visit, the doctor even answered my hair questions on the fly.

I have been to a different dermatologist's private practice (still go there for Botox), michigan medicine dermatology and both places prescribed dandruff shampoos that were too harsh for me and made it worse. Dr. Laing knew about an oil in combination with a shampoo that fixed my scalp in no time. She also got rid of eczema on my leg. Sadly, I just called to get my dad in for a skin check and they are not taking new patients at the moment. Clearly I'm not the only one who thinks highly of Dr. Laing!

This experience has been exhausting from start to finish:…read more Dr's office sent in a referral, missed their initial phone call to schedule an appointment. Called the office back, found out that all off their calls are routed to a call center. Spoke with the customer service person who said, " I see someone reached out to you but I can't find your referral, did your doctor send it?" To which I replied, " Yes, I am certain they sent it. Otherwise, how would anyone know to call me for an appointment." After 20 minutes of them trying to reach someone at the office, we were able to schedule an appointment. Day of appointment was the only good part. Dr. Artz was amazing and the only reason this review has stars. Had biopsies done, was informed results should be back in two weeks. 3 weeks later I called because I had not heard from anyone. Call center answered, transfered to office, had to leave message. Two days later, same thing. Repeat until week 4. CSR tells me the results are not back, someone will need to call the lab and find out what is going on. Week 5, results are in but need an appointment to go over the results. Earliest appointment, week 6. Show up to excision appointment, no issues minus huge piece of my back missing. Stitches come out in two weeks. Waiting for sample to be biopsied. No call back, 3 weeks out again. CSR "It appears that your results are in your patient portal, I can't get a hold of the office to have someone to talk with you." Called back two more times over 6 days, left messages, radio science. Getto read a documented medical terminology laden documentation of how potentially hazardous cells may or may not have been outside the excision area. 2 weeks 3 days later, 11:30pm take out stitches and the wound partially opens back up. Not bleeding, no emergency, try and call on call. After hours CSR, takes all my contact info, finds me in the system, I will contact the on-call Dr to call you back..... 2:30am, CSR, " we have been trying to find someone to call you, but no one is answering. Do you need someone to call you still or do you want the office to follow ul in the morning?" "I have secured it with steri-strips, please have someone call me tomorrow. Entire day came and went, still have not heard back 7 days later. Canceled my body checkup, wrote this review so hopefully no one else will be stuck in limbo. Is there a "negative stars" rating? Also, I agree that Adam always rushes through my skin cancer checks, even though I HAVE HAD SKIN CANCER IN THE PAST. You'd think they'd be more careful. I'd like to hear from some other fed up patients what dermatologists' office they switched to.

Front Desk staff: They could be better trained and since this is a relatively new business, they could be working on it. I expect to be greeted when I walk into a business. I wasn't until I spoke to her. Also, when I left, there were two staff sitting at the front desk who went on with their conversation while I waited (I don't know and don't care if it was business related, they should have stopped and took care of their patient). Medical Assistant: She was obviously new but sweet and helpful. Didn't know everything yet but she wasn't afraid to ask questions, down to the spelling of drugs and infections. PA: She was great. Knew what she was doing. She took the biopsy from the top of my foot. One of the easiest things I've ever had done. Dr. Messenger, Jr: Very nice young doctor. Introduced himself and his PA when they came in. Calls himself Dr. Jeff. I liked that he was personable. He couldn't give a definite diagnosis without the biopsy but gave me three possibilities. He had the PA take the biopsy but he supervised it and assisted her. All in all, I would recommend this practice. My appointment was timely and I'm known for walking out on doctors who make me wait with no explanation. Just a suggestion: your website is awful. It needs to be reworked and made secure.
