Worst marina on the lake! Terrible customer service (kelly especially). I would rather sink my boat than park it at this marina.

We bought out boat over Labor Day 2008 and had already shopped the marinas in the lower, eastern portion of Lake Travis. Emerald Point won our business because they have the most flexible service and pricing. For $190 a month, our boat lives in dry stack storage, and we simply call the marina and let them know we will use the boat, and they put it in the water for us. It's like a boat valet! I feel so important! Another great service is their on site mechanic. Again, all I have to do is call and say, "Hey can you do this to the boat" or "Can you do that to the boat" and they call the marina, the marina gets the boat to the shop, then they put it away, and I am ready to go! If I want to work on the boat, they will put the boat on a work station for me. It is really sweet. Plus, we get 10% off at Carlos and Charlies and the at the boat shop. Not too shabby. read more

From the door guys who are so friendly and welcoming to the lovely and patient bartenders, Emerald Point is where to go to feel normal again after all this quarantine stuff. The bf and his family just recently bought a boat. We live all the way to Houston and it takes about 3-4 hours for us to tow the boat to Lake Travis everytime we decide to have some fun in the water. It was such a hassle that they decided to find a marina where we can store the boat. Bf sister found this place. Everything was so fast and friendly and they guided us how to pull the boat in and out and how to store and park it correctly since we're newbees :P The place has restaurants, it's own shower area and they have a small store for a last minute buy. You don't even need to leave the marina because they have what you need! The staff and everyone that works there were so helpful and kind. We felt special and everyone is so helpful. They take care of everything and we don't have to worry about anything. All we need to do is drive there, and the boat will be ready to go! read more

How do you get your boat in Lake Travis in a drought all the public ramps are closed? $35 and Emerald Marine! Next to Carlos and Charlie's. * Use a four wheel drive vehicle - its a long steep path to the water * It's a long walk back to your boat once you park, but the guys will give you a ride on the golf cart if you ask. Lake Travis is a lot less crowded with no public ramps open. Go for it! read more

We've had our boat stored at Emerald Point for this season and they have been amazing! The staff is incredibly helpful and considerate towards its clients needs. From fun holiday events to helping get your boat gassed up or pumped out, they're awesome. I was a customer at Emerald Point Marina for a number of years. I was generally pleased with their service and facilities. I was also a low key customer who did not get too excited when it took a few weeks to fix a leaky lift, etc. appreciated this year the added service if lowering boats into the water on expected freeze days. However, I decided to sell my boat and was told that if I listed with Platinum Marine and sign an agreement, it would be considered in lieu of notice and allow me to terminate my contract at the end of the month it sold. Now the general manager is telling me that her new ownership no longer accepts the contract she presented for my signature herself and attempts to collect 1 month additional rent and forfeiture of deposit. When challenged, she negotiated to keep the deposit only. I relented just to move on. Now I was just charged another ubiquitous fee for a "missing storage fee". I think it is shameful to reneg on your agreements with customers, especially those that supported you throughout the drought, when it was a ghost town around Emerald Point. read more

This marina's customer service is abhorrent. The front office lady (who cannot be named and shamed to yelp's policies) is extremely rude. Her employees from the dry dock to the the staff can't stand her either. I can't understand why the owner allows her to be the face of his business. I would NEVER and I mean NEVER spend a single dime at this marina again. When I first docked here I was promised one price, and then showed up and charged another for my trailer. This was NOT disclosed. I had no option because of the size of my boat to move at that point. When the lake water was low, and people left, they were desperate for your business. When the water returned, they got rude and nasty and customer service went out the window. If you're thinking of mooring or docking here, DONT. There's PLENTY of other options on Lake Travis that will truly appreciate your business. If you're the owner of Emerald Point I hope you truly poll your employees and customers and see what they think. Talk to your customers and see that they concur. We stayed at a different Marina last year when we came to Lake Travis and by far Emerald Point marina is way better!!! The ease of launching our boat and they had a great slip we were able to rent for the weekend and even a great place to keep our trailer. Also everyone who worked there was super nice, friendly and helpful. Defiantly no stress like last year, we'll be back for sure!! read more

Emerald Point Marina is a huge ripoff! Stay Away! They did serious damage to my boat (that I have had stored there for over 5 years). They then lied about it and refuse to take responsibility. I urge anybody even thinking about doing business with them to run fast! They use Eriksen Marina as their mechanics, and they also are crooks. I can't stress it enough. You will regret docking your boat here!!!!! read more
