For less than $400 for 2 hours (or how ever many hours you'd like, pricing varies), you can rent a boat and seize the day! Booking is made easy online. All you have to do is choose your boat, select your day/time, complete registration, make a payment, and that's it-- you are good to go. Once you arrive to the marina, you can either park in the parking structure or in the private lot. Make sure to be as portable as possible, as it's quite a trek from the parking lot to the marina. You have to walk down steep stairs in order to arrive at your destination. For those with bad knees, you've been warned! Food and beverages are allowed (no glass), but I highly suggest trying to finish what you bring, as the journey down is always easier than going up.

The guys who run it are really nice and do an outstanding job running the place. It's always clean, and they'll help you with issues any time you ask. The marina itself is on a point, not in a cove which is what you want because no matter how low the lake gets there's always plenty of water there to keep things afloat, and once you exit the marina you're right on the deep part of the channel. We keep our boat at this marina. After a storm, the lake rose significantly and the ramp access to…read morethe marina ended up in the water. Understandable- that's how floating docks work - they go in and out with the lake level and ramps do end up in the water. Here's the problem: it's been over 24 hours of sunny/not rainy weather and the ramp is still in the water. The "operations manager" seems to have no intention of fixing the ramp. His answer when asked for an estimated time is "I put a call in." We have a day dock at our condo and it's ramp access was restored immediately. I get that a marina is a bit more complex, but it's also a bigger priority. It's also a holiday weekend which is one of the few weekends we get to really enjoy our boat (or not enjoy our boat since we are at this marina). On top of that, this marina recently raised prices on slips and a bunch of people moved out. Management seems to be on a quest for cash, cutting corners and raising rents. I'd think twice about doing business with these people.

I was hesitant to use this business because they…read moredidn't have any reviews, but I started reading bad reviews about other rental businesses providing shoddy equipment and such. Wave Ride'n Rentals has brand new equipment, and they also don't have a specific location so they have several lakes they can drop off your rental at (they meet you there). You can do everything over text message so you don't have to call if you don't want. Just text the number showing on their Yelp page there. As for the waverunner experience itself, it's fun and easy. You can go really fast. You have to stay 50 feet away from other boats etc. The Wave Ride'n Rentals person that dropped off your waverunner will wait for you to finish your session and then you just take it back to the dock and he picks you up. He walks you through it so it's not hard. The only thing I would recommend is, if you go to a big lake, before you drive off in the waverunner, tell Siri to save your location (or take a screenshot). That way you can figure out how to get back if you get a bit lost! Oh also, they provide life vests and all that so all you have to bring is yourself and whoever is riding with you, some sunglasses, and your phone. We never fell in but they acted like that is a possibility, so maybe wear swim trunks etc. Have fun! Highly recommend this business. Great experience!

LOL. I am convinced the reviews are fake…read more I emailed and called to confirm things since i got a confirmation but nothing that was not autogenerated. No response. I reserved paid in full, then got a message about the jet skis being out of commission due to an accident from the party before me- less than 2 hours before my rental (easter weekend). I did not get upset like accidents happen i get that. The driver said management would be in touch to confirm refund. I sent the screen shot to the email and asked to confirm refund. Called the number on the website- not in use anymore. Called and left the message with the number on the receipt- left message saturday, sunday and monday- called tuesday just didnt leave a message. I also texted and texted the driver to help get in contact with management. Its crazy that i still have yet to hear back and there wasnt even apology for the inconvenience of the holiday weekend having to be completely hail maryed to entertain my kids. im still wating on management and a refund confirmation.
