For a 3-hour rental, the total was $720, which included the captain, a lily pad, and gratuity (though additional tips are always appreciated)!! The launch point is in Lake Travis at Mansfield Dam Park. Since it's a public, county park, you're required to pay $5pp upon entry (CASH ONLY). Once inside, make sure to park on the left side for the closest access to the dock! Unfortunately, as of 9/18/25, the dock is closed for maintenance--so Martin will launch the boat with you already on board!

This company has zero resources; we got lucky, two guys on a boat saw us and helped tow the jet ski. Spent more time on the jet ski being towed than actually riding it. Once we got to the shore, they didn't give me extra time or another jet ski, didn't return a dime from my rental payment and accused me for breaking their jet ski. Literally blamed me in front of other customers. For someone who absolutely loves jet skiing this was the worst experience ever! I won't be renting from them again.

After booking, the owner informed me it was required and that my options were to pay it or cancel the trip. My issue wasn't with tipping--it was that the total cost changed after I had already booked. I contacted Getmyboat support, but they told me owners set their own fees, and I ultimately felt I had no realistic choice but to pay since our trip was only a few days away. I was also originally told I could pay the gratuity in cash on the day of the trip, but a few days beforehand I was told it had to be paid in advance through Venmo. On the day of the trip, the boat arrived about 20 minutes late for pickup, and I found the captain to be unprofessional. He smoked weed and drank during the chatter and made us stop on the way back so he could jump into the water to urinate. The boat itself was exactly what we expected, but the lack of transparency about mandatory fees and the overall professionalism left a negative impression. I hope future guests are informed of all required charges before booking so they can make an informed decision. Even with private reviews and information given the owners never reached out or apologized for the whole experience. Would not recommend this place

In our 2 hours we made it down to Mansfield Dam and then over to the 360 bridge before coming back to the dock. The jet ski worked flawlessly and we had a ton of fun. We had a great experience with Lake Austin Water Sports and would highly recommend them for renting a watercraft and having some fun on the water.

Our party had 30 people and we rented 3 boats with Alpha Boat Rentals. Chris is the owner of the business and throughout the process very easy and put me at ease since we had such a big group. What drew me to Alpha Boat Rentals was all the great reviews, but Chris is such a great guy and he gave us a great deal and helped me find transportation from the Fairmont Hotel and back. We used a company called Fetii and paid for 3 shuttles and unfortunately, only 2 showed up and we ended up losing time on the lake and that didn't make us happy. We also got to the Lake and some of the other business owners that had their own tours screwed us out of time as well because we couldn't dock for almost 30 minutes. Captains for each boat were nice, but the only thing that we didn't like was they put us in an area by ourselves and we didn't link up with other boats.
