Only wish some tenants here would be more respectful in their use of the bathrooms. Sorry, Mommy isn't around to clean up after your mess. - Maintenance workers have had some turnover in 2022 but do a good job. Seems to be less maintenance post 2022. - Generally good looking boats, but some boats are ignored and here to die. Most boats never leave the Marina and by the looks of things, many of those couldn't do so under their own power. - Facilities are nice but getting dated. Building maintenance has suffered since 2020 and while nice(r) than average, could be better. Peeling paint and nasty odors in the main building bathrooms. - Gym room was redone in 2023 and is a first class result. Great job Staff! - We used to have mailbox service until 2020. - Significant multi-year rental increases. - Quiet and peaceful place. Proposed Ventura West Marina Phase I plans here. Many mechanics I've met are parts replacers or figure out problems by process of elimination, but not Erith. I've met his father Vaughn briefly and obviously his father taught him well. Let me enumerate his 5+ star qualification: 1) Availability: My newish Cummins diesel broke down at sunset and I needed to be up and running for my Saturday charters. I had called several mechanics in a panic and was either getting v/m or told they could possibly see me Saturday afternoon or on Monday. When I got a hold of Erith of AAA Marine, he said he was having dinner with his gf but would come down and help me out. He was up in Santa Barbara, I'm in Marina del Rey! He stopped by his shop to get the parts he thought we needed (he was right) and promptly arrived in 2.5 hours. This scenario has now unfortunately played out three times since then with various break-downs. Each and every time Erith has accommodated me and got me up and running very quickly. 2) Expertise: I can only speak for my Cummins & ZF package but Erith quickly and efficiently has diagnosed problems over the phone and in-person with quick repairs. Besides his proficiency in the diagnosis and repair he is extremely thorough and detail oriented. 3) Value: Although not inexpensive, knowing that I'm getting it done the right way and quickly is the definition of value as far as I'm concerned. Down time whether for a commercial vessel or one's weekend play toy is expensive in lost revenue or valuable "play time". 4) Honesty/personality: Besides his good natured personality, I've never felt he's B.S.'d me or overcharged me for a service. Besides his get-it-done philosophy he's enjoyable to work around. No wonder commercial guys from San Diego to Santa Cruz go to this shop for their diesel repairs--these guys at AAA Marine are first class all the way.

This is a great place to take a walk along the water. You can only cross over the water using the…read morepedestrian bridge. You can walk south down the pathway and follow it back up towards the Channel Islands Harbor but you can't cross over. You would have to back track from which you came. It's a good 45-60 minute walk if you start over by the Coffee Bean and head down to the Harbor Island Lane then up along the private property on the water and then back. There are lots of restaurants and business along the marina that has great views and lots of benches along the walking path. There are public park restrooms near the playground. I have come here on my breaks to take in some fresh air and beautiful marina views. I highly recommend walking the pathway.

Those are the places I most frequent but they also have Raven Tavern, Gyromania, Golden Egg, Chipotle and Jersey Mike's so many more. There's a Vons, Blender's In the Grass and 2 gyms ( 24 hour Fitness and Edge). I'm excited for the new Italian food coming soon. It's a nice place to hang out and the views are beautiful. There are boats and gondola rentals. I am at Seabridge at least three times a week. My boyfriend lives nearby by too. I remember when it was first being built. Love what it has become. It's such a great place for walkers and you'll see many people with their doggies. This place also brings me happiness as this is where I met my boyfriend. Love love romantic walks here! Note - parking can be limited getting closer to the restaurants but they offer free Valet parking . I mean you still should tip but it's free :)
