I am absolutely blown away by the service I received today! I noticed the seal along the bottom of my windshield came loose when I was cleaning out the inside of my car today. I had a windshield replaced at this Safelite awhile back so I went to see if they could help me. As soon as I got there I was happily greeted by Justin. I showed Justin the problem and even though it was 90 degrees outside and it was 30mins to closing he pulled my car in the repair bay and promptly fixed the seal! He could have easily told me to make an appointment to come back at a later time but he went above and beyond. I appreciate that so much! Thank you Justin! After my mobile replacement appointment was canceled twice, I decided to take my car to their shop. Upon arriving, they discovered that none of their technicians were able to drive a manual transmission vehicle, requiring me to drive it into their shop for them. Ultimately, the entire windshield replacement process took approximately 4 hours to complete. when they said it should only take and hour or two. read more

I tried calling Safelite to ask a question. They have the worst telephone answering machine I've ever seen. It took over five minutes to figure out a way to get to a human. When I got to a real person I said hey I had a real problem trying to get to you from your silly machine and they hung up on me. These people don't want to talk to people they want you to talk to their machine and give them your money and go away. I would never use Safelite. They have the worst customer service/answering system I've ever heard of. I want to deal with people, not machines. an absolutely terrible way to run a business. read more

total professionalism @ this place,what else can i say. They took care of my rock chip in 20 min.and even cleaned the windows & vacuumed my floorboards which i wasn't expecting. They were all about business of fixing your car as well as very friendly & polite and explained everything in detail. Great customer experience end-to-end. This was the first time I've needed a windshield replacement and I shopped around. The Safelite web site was very easy to navigate and I had a quote in about 90 seconds. The quote was higher than their competitors...at first. As I got deeper with a couple of other places their quotes kept creeping up as I gave them more specifics about my vehicle and the day they could service kept getting pushed back. Ultimately the Safelite price was only a little bit higher and I could have completed the whole quote & reserve my appointment process in just a few minutes had I just gone with Safelite in the first place. Dealing with the local Safelite rep both on the phone and face-to-face was a very pleasant experience. They covered everything and answered all my questions professionally. While replacing my windshield the bracket holding the rear view mirror broke. The technician came and picked my car up at work to do the additional repair and even fixed a floor trim piece that was broken while he had it at the shop. After being saddened by a chip on my windshield, I was both thrilled and surprised to learn that my car insurance would cover a new windshield for free (which was unexpected given my deductibles)! My insurance company referred me to Safelite. After arranging for a mobile visit, someone came over to my residence to fix the car. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with the order (their national office who arranged for the appointment) and they ordered the wrong windshield. Within minutes, the person who came over went back to the shop and arranged an appointment for the next day. While I was disappointed that they couldn't fix it at my initial appointment, I was impressed with them ordering and receiving the windshield in one day. The next day, they replaced my windshield within an hour. The representative who helped me was extremely generous. He even removed part of a dent I had in my car for free (this made my day!). I would highly recommend using Safelite if you ever have any problems with your glass. read more

Had a great experience with Safelite in Bloomington, IL! I stopped in 10 minutes before closing and Jerod (the store manager) patiently explained my options on payment (go through insurance or pay out of pocket) what they would do to mend my windshield rock chip, and how long it would take. I was able to make an appointment for the next day no problem. I dropped in at my scheduled appointment time and one of the technicians was there, asked me if I had received an overview of what they would be doing with the repair, what could happen in the event of it further cracking during repair, etc. I was quoted 25-30 minutes and my car was done when I expected. An added bonus, he had vacuumed my floor mats and cleaned all the exterior glass! A nice surprise. Jerod helped take my payment and provided me information on the warranty. Very pleased with this shop. They gave me the lowest price around and the best service. Set an appointment overnight but since I dropped my car off early enough they were able to get it done the same day. They even waited for me a few minutes after closing.
