So, I have used Stephens Auto Glass twice at the suggestion of my insurance company after sustaining a rock chip that turned into a cracked windshield. The first time, several years ago, they brought the wrong windshield and only discovered that AFTER they had removed mine, so I was left driving one of their repair vans while I waited for the correct windshield to come in. This time, I dropped it off to them, was called an hour later and told it was done. I went in to get it and it was filthy. My I-Pass was lying on the floor, the rearview mirror was filthy, there was debris all over the dashboard, and there were black smudges all up and down the windshield pillars. I went back in and they said they would clean it up. When I left, there were still smudges on the pillars, although they were more faint than they were initially. My insurance company has been notified and is looking into what can be done. Given that both my experiences with this company have been bad (several years apart), I can't assume this is coincidence. I won't be using their services again. read more

My insurance agency suggested this company to repair a rock chip caused by a passing car. It took several days to get an appointment. It was a cloudy day and I didn't inspect the area closely just went on my merry way. The next morning, a sunny day, I noticed the sun glinting in the area of the repair. On close inspection when I ran my finger across I could feel a divot in the glass. I returned and was told that it was fine, that's just the way some windshields are and that if it broke they would basically take the price of the repair off the price of replacing my windshield. WHAT? The office person told me this without having a technician look at it and make an assessment. If there is still a divot in the windshield it is my opinion that enough resin wasn't used to fill the chip in the first place. I have a call in to my insurance company to share this info and suggest they not send anyone else to this business. I'm very frustrated by the lack of professionalism displayed. read more

Stephens was recommended by Country Companies to replace the damaged windshield on my 2017 Subaru Outback. They did offer quick service and replaced the OEM glass with Pilkington glass. Within days the glass cracked. The promptly replaced it with another Pilkington windshield. That windshield has also cracked after 4 months. This is either a material (Pilkington) or a workmanship problem (Stephens). I will not use them again. read more

Called Stephens asking if they were able to reattach my rear view mirror to my front windshield. Gina answered and was very nice and said come on in and they would get me taken care of. I came in and was greeted by Gina with a smile and she took care of my mirror. When she was done I asked how much I owed her and she smiled and said, "Nothing, just remember us when you need a windshield replaced" Customer service was phenomenal, and she was quick with getting me back on the road. read more

I recommend avoiding this business. I stayed home for a morning appointment for 4 hours, and they were a no show. It seems they cannot communicate to the technician their commitments. If you believe businesses should say what they mean and mean what they say, and not "hand-wave" away customer inconvenience like this, go elsewhere where they can mange these simple tasks read more
