I'm at the point where I'm going to take legal action against Safelite. I'm fkn livid. They broke my windshield wiper knob while they were installing the glass and have been MIA since then. I haven't been able to use my car for 5 days and counting. Nobody returns your call. I've tried going thru different departments and reaching out directly to the shop. Their customer service is incredibly rude to boot. I wish I went somewhere else. What a nightmare! I'm supposed to go on a road trip and now I'm going to be forced to rent a car. They better be ready to reimburse me for it. Or I will make sure they don't stay in business. read more

Horrible customer service. My daughter took her car to the Brockton location at the recommendation of our auto insurance to have her windshield replaced and they broke her car radio, left the car dirty and forgot to put the inspection sticker back on. We took the car back to have the inspection done and they said we would have to take it somewhere else to get that done and come back with a receipt for a reimbursement. The next day we did that went back to their establishment with the receipt and of course they can't do it because the manager isn't in. We now need to wait for a call back. So basically one of your technicians screwed up and now we have to do all the running around and being inconvenienced. Will never take our cars there again and would never recommend them. I will definitely be letting my insurance co. know what horrible service we received. read more

Guy showed up late the first time, then said I'm not going to do it, I have to see. Then three days later showed up for second time and asked do you have space inside? Otherwise I can't do it, your driveway isn't down to the pavement. There was a wisp of snow. Garage too tight. Ok but nobody informed us of any of these contingencies. I said I wished somebody had communicated that. Guy didn't want to work in the cold is what it comes down to. I said hold on and went inside to see if I could use my neighbor's garage next door, he apparently had his wittle feelings hurt, and left. I don't care if my insurance covers it. I'm never using Safelite again because of this complete asshat. read more

First time coming to this Safelite and likely will be my last. First of all, I specifically told them The Belmont location was the one I Needed to go to, but a day before they told me I was with the Raynham location. No matter what I did, it took them 3 hours just to switch it back to Brockton. They couldn't fix my windshield and also put a horrible not supposed to be with my car Winshield. Never go to this Safelite. After what happened I very damn well will be going to the Raynham location after this bullshit! read more

Haven't even gotten the service and can tell how bad they are. Canceled the appointment on me twice and never reached back up to reschedule. Came all the way to my house after making me wait all day stuck at home when I could've done so much with my day just to tell me they brought the wrong part. Manager never called back to address the issue. Literally stuck with a broken windshield. Go somewhere else. read more

Safelite sucks. Have a 2014 Murano that needed a front windshield. The tech comes over and the 1st thing he says is how he hates replacing Murano windshields. Then the clown breaks the trim. Says he has to order a new piece and puts the old trim back. Weeks go by with no response. Call Safelife and they have "no record" of ordering new trim. The jerks never did fix the trim. The cherry on the crap sundae was wipers hitting the edge of the hood because he also bent them. Stay away from Safelite. They are just a bunch of TV ads saying how great they are but they don't walk the talk. read more

I had my windshield and wipers replaced to the tune of $1095. The technician broke the wiper arm and when I put them on in a snow storm while driving on the highway the wiper didn't work and I was almost in an accident. I called safelite and no one ever called me back. Then a few weeks later there was a rain storm and the windshield was leaking into my car. Again I called and no one ever called me back. A month later I get a text from Safelite saying I have an appointment the following day for recalibration. I called to ask why and they had no clue. When I went to the appointment I told them I don't need a recalibration. That's literally the only thing they did right. I had a friend fix the wiper arm but I wanted them to check if the windshield was weather tight because it was leaking. He said they can run a test. They made me leave the car all day. At the end of the day they text to say they're starting the recalibration and I will owe $495. I tried to call and it goes to the 866 main safelite number. This is the worse company. Now I have to go through the warranty process to get the money back. And they didn't fix the leak. They did the service I didn't need after I told them I don't need it. If I could give it no stars. I would. I just want a windshield that works. After all that's what I paid for. read more

Horrible customer services. They don't take the customer seriously. An employee at this store put a window on my mom's car and broke a plastic exterior part. He said they would call my mom to replace it, but they never called her, never made order for replacement the part. We decided to go to the store in person. The employee who helped us said he was aware of the situation and that they would order the part and get in touch. They never ordered the part and didn't get in touch either. Seeing so much irresponsibility, we decided to complain to our insurance company, which has a contract with them. The Insurance company call they (Safelite) with us in the line, they made appointment for the other day, when the other day come in, Safelite call my mom early at the morning and cancelled the appointment. Today is supposed arrive in my mom house one employee of Brockton 9:30am -12:30 am they never come in. We decided visit the Store of Brockton in person, today and speak with the same employee what lie all time, he said, they no have appointment with my mom today. I ask and show to the employee the next appointment my mom received for Dec.5,2025 and the employee says: They no have appointment, because my mom have wait for the part they ordered arrive first, and they call my mom. Tomorrow I call to the Insurance company again and explain the horrible experience with this place. I don't trust in this company. I do not recommend. read more

Safelite \ were unable to fix my windshield due to a past recalibration issue. However, they asked if I will take a damaged windshield with scratches all over the drivers side, which I declined. I had to reschedule my appointment, only for them to tell me there's a recalibration issue with my car and they're unable to repair the windshield. I found a new place that's charging me less but now I can't get a live person to switch the glass company because Progressive insurance is in bed with this awful company and no one picks up the phone. read more

Appalling! Had an appointment scheduled while traveling. Agent got to my place and didn't have the correct glass and then told me I would have to go to a shop for replacement. Totally incompetent! Then I just called again to try again and reschedule now that I am home and received very conflicting information than I previously received from other agents. I will never use this company and will not ever recommend anyone else does. Called Mikes Autoglass and received was better service. read more

Went to the Brockton location today because my insurance company recommended them. I arrived early and was greeted by a nice lady. After waiting over 2 hours I asked about what was going on. The lady at the counter said it is almost done. I asked why is it taking so long, the lady behind her (I assumed it was a manager) said: Our technicians are not that good. I almost fainted that an employee would tell a customer this. Got into my van and there was trash inside my van. Guess she was right on multiple levels. Called my insurance company while I was sitting in the parking lot and told them if they EVER referred me to that place again I will cancel my insurance. read more

A rock hit my windshield in May and went online to set up an appointment to have it replaced at the closest Safelite location in Franklin, Ma. I took first available appointment which was a few weeks out. Just as my appointment approached they canceled it without explanation. There are no numbers for local installers so I called their call center number who told me that the windshield was on back order with VW. I asked when they expected it however they told me they would contact me and was not sure. I waited a month and tried again and basically I was told don't call us we will call you when it is in. In late August I decided to reach out to a local installer called Warrior Glass in Holliston, Ma. The owner reached out to me within 30 minutes of completing the online order and told me glass needed to be ordered with VW and would I like to proceed. I stated yes and within an hour he sent me a text with the order he submitted to VW. Within a week he had the glass in the shop and offered my multiple appointments. I took the first one which was in just two days. Glass was installed perfectly and all calibration was performed perfectly. Safelite was a total waste of my time. Look for a reputable local installer like Warrior Glass in Holliston where you can work and speak with the owner and not a call center robot! By the way I never mentioned the issues I had to the local installer. They performed flawlessly without them knowing the trouble I had with Safelite. It is just the way they do business. read more

I was looking for a place to replace my cracked windshield and this Safelite happened to be a few minutes away. I was hesitant to come here after reading the previous reviews but the location was ideal and was home bound for the next few days so didn't care if they had to keep it for the long weekend. Was called to pick up my car about four hours after I dropped it off. I didn't get the man at the front desk's name but he was great. Very pleased with the work that was done. I scheduled a windshield replacement two weeks ago. They called me TODAY, the day of the appointment less than 3 hours before the tech was scheduled to come out to cancel. Very unprofessional, and unfair. The soonest they were able to reschedule would be on a day where I would be at work. Will never use Safelite again. Poor customer service, poor planning. read more

We scheduled service for 8-30. They did not have the right window . We rescheduled for 9-3, no one showed. We called and were told they did not have a tech to install but could do 9-4. Waited for tech to come , no show. Called to see what was going on. We were told they did not send work order to the shop. So we rescheduled for 9-8(soonest they could do) we then received a call that the tech called in sick. So they had to cancel and wanted to see if we could bring it to the shop instead. So we did bring to the shop and Neil was the only bright spot in this story. He did the install as soon as my husband brought it in. The big issue I have is that you can't speak to the local shop directly so there is a real lack of communication. We basically wasted 2 days hanging around and only found that service was canceled when we called in. The people at the shop were great it would be easier to talk directly to them. read more
