    Windshield after repair

    I came to Safelite for a glass repair on my Tesla Model Y after talking to a few local body shops and finding out that they didn't have OEM Tesla parts in stock only weeks after contacting them. I made my request through State Farm via phone, it was fast and seamless as State Farm was able to connect me directly to a Safelite rep and they then were able to schedule an appointment for me the next day. The whole repair was completely covered by my insurance so I didn't have to pay. Overall experience was really good, I dropped my car off early so I could go back to work. Upon arriving the receptionist immediately got me through and found a technician for me who then verified they had the right glass for my car. I signed a few waivers and went back to work. My technician Ozuna texted me when he started the job and called me twice with updates for when he got the glass installed and when it was ready for pickup (when calibration was finished). Overall really nice technician and he did a great job, glass was seated properly and calibrated properly. The only potential downside to my experience was that I had to travel from Queens to Bronx and had to pay a toll to do so. This isn't the shops fault but more so the Safelite rep on the phone not realizing I had to cross a toll, she just chose the location closest to me on the map.

    Windshield still cracked

    I had an appointment scheduled for 3/7/25, to replace my windshield, I was quoted online $692 24 hours later I received an email saying that the actual amount would be $1300+ because of recalibration. Which is fine car has adaptive cruise control want that to be safe. The issue was I received a call from someone who asked me if I wanted to cancel the appointment because of the rate change and I expressed my concern about the money change but informed her not to cancel my appointment. Sometimes you get a bad vibe from someone and shadiness. I called back to double check on my appointment only to find out that she removed me from my appointment. I spoke to someone else on 3/6/25 who said she won't be able to do anything about getting my appointment back. I asked for a call back to help mitigate that situation. It is now 3/7/25 @3:25 pm have not received a call back. Horrible customer service who doesn't listen to customer needs and concerns.

    Damaged hood from replacing my windshield

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Was there on 12/4/2023 to replace a windshield and they damaged my hood and denied it. Store manager was very difficult to get a hold of after calling them 3 times. Told I had to bring my car back in and had to bring it to their body shop. If I don't trust their glass work what makes me trust their body work! Will be filing a claim with small calms court!

    Painter's tape, didn't replace the seal on the left and right side.

    I had a great experience working with Jon from Safe Auto Glass when replacing my windshield. From…read morethe start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional, which made the whole process stress-free. What really stood out was how smoothly everything went between his company and my insurance (Progressive)--such a huge relief. Jon was also incredibly understanding and flexible, especially with the possibility of rain and my limited garage space. He was willing to work with me to make sure everything still got done without any issues. Just to be clear, I worked directly with Jon at 877-215-7735 (BEWARE, DO NOT confuse this with another company with the same name!!!!). Thanks again, Jon, for being so kind and helping me out of a tough situation!

    I had an appointment from 9-11 am. No one came. Around 11:30 they call me to tell me they are 30…read moremins away. I asked them why didn't they communicate as I have other obligations. I made sure to be home at the time being that I was coming from work and I sat in my car for 2 hours waiting for them and they never showed. 12:30 they still didn't come they are calling me trying to confirm my address when that information was communicated the day prior. After so much delay making me late to other obligations I asked them to cancel as they had no regards to my time and no accountability. Things happen, delays happen but you have to communicate. They offered me a $25 discount which I thought was a slap in the face. I was about to spend $600. I told them to forget it, I was going to do business with them because I was referred to them but the experience was so bitter that I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. A lady calls me back asking me if I'm sure I want to cancel I said yes because they don't respect me nor my time. I informed her I will fix my window elsewhere. She refused to take accountability then tells me "f you b*tch". I hung up. I never rose my voice at her, I never cursed at her. It's pretty bold for them to call me to curse me out when they messed my whole day up due to their lack of professionalism.
