I called after 6 PM to get a quote because my vehicle was broken into and the call center operator was so polite and kind. I explained that my insurance reccommended a provider that coundn't get me in for 2 days and with small children and appts. to make in the mean time that wasn't acceptable to me. She was able to schedule me for the next day and explained the cost difference of bringin g it into the shop versus having a tech come to me. I arrived at the shop 45 minutes before my appt and they took my vehicle to begin cleaning (from the break in) almost immediately. Even though I was told it could take 60-90 minutes to install, I was out of there 25 minutes after my actual scheduled appt. They were very busy taking calls and doing installs, but still made time to offer beverages to me and the other customers. They were able to offer me a discount because I use Allstate(even though I had to pay out of pocket because of the insurance deductable on my plan). I'm happy with the final result of the service and very pleased with their people skills in dealing with my situation. I would reccomend their services. read more

A Safelite in Northern Wisconsin replaced a cracked windshield on my car. It leaked badly. I took it to this Safelite in Green Bay and explained the situation. Tyler (or Jason I don't remember) said that the job had been done very badly, some trim was missing from the install and some other foam blocks had not been installed correctly. He reinstalled the glass (no leaks) and promised to contact the main office ASAP to give me credit for my trouble and the missing/miss installed parts. He seemed sincere and professional. I never heard back from him. I called, left messages - no response. The process to contact a local branch is apparently difficult - I had trouble getting the number to that branch and him specifily. I usually put in my own windshields. Its really not that hard. After 2 installs and hours of driving, multiple phone calls I'll be back to doing my installs...I do not recommend Safelite. read more

We were scheduled to receive services September 18th between 8a-12p. We had services completed on September 18th Approximately 4:50pm. No communication that they were going to be late. I did called them 3x to see if they were still coming. When we asked Andy (technician) about discount for late installation, he stated it's not his call to make. September 22nd i called customer service and they called the shop. They couldn't do anything because the invoice had been entered. I did mentioned to the customer representative that we did bring it up to the technician but nothing was done. On top of everything we are being charged for recycling fee ($39.99) when they's nothing to be recycled. My car did not have a windshield on it . I am extremely disappointed. read more

GO TO CAR GUARD AUTO GLASS INSTEAD!! I booked a "drop off" appointment online for a chip repair; however, I decided to come at 7:30am as soon as they opened, to see if somehow, it would be possible to get my chip repaired right away, instead of being without my car all day. After I showed them where the new chip was (yes, a new chip, because I had already had a repair for a different chip in another spot 6 years prior, which was doing fine and not the problem) they agreed to repair it on the spot. So I went back into the office to wait. However, within 10 minutes the girl came out to me and said that she initially attempted to repair the _already repaired_ chip, and that caused the actual new chip to then spread into a crack, which can no longer be repaired but that I now must replace my whole windshield. Hmmm, very convenient. Furthermore they would "only" charge me $478.94 for the replacement. Also, they couldn't possibly get me in before Tuesday (today is Friday), which is not going to work because I'm leaving town on Monday - I am not from Wisconsin and need to go home. So, thanks to these incompetent - possibly scheming money-mongering - fools, I now need a new windshield or drive 2000 miles with a cracked and cracking windshield. Thankfully, Car Guard Auto Glass on Cass St in Green Bay said he would fit me in Monday morning so I could be on my way - and for $294 instead of $478. I would not trust my car to these idiots, and certainly wouldn't give them any money! read more

I gave 2 stars because we had 2 services. One was to fix a chip. That was good service, great repairman. but would only give 1 star on the windshield replacement. They came to our house. We were scheduled between 8am and noon. He finally showed up after 2pm. We told he we needed to leave at 4pm, so we might need to reschedule. He said he would be done before 4 - and wasn't very nice about it. At 3:55 he said he was done, and the car was ready. We left a little after 4pm, and the front camera (in the windshield) didn't work, leaving us without some of our safety features. the soonest we could get in At their shop to get it recalibrated was a week later (we did not want to sit home another day and wait another 6 hours for him to show up). After going to the shop, they said they could not recalibrate it - we had to take it to a dealership. Now, they guarantee calibration for a year) . So we had to make a trip to the dealer and pay them to do the job that Safelight said they couldn't do. We will never use them again! read more

Spencer was my technician and he was awesome! He let me know when he was going to be there, came to my work so I didn't have to go outside or anything. Did a simple windshield repair, minimal markings left on the windshield. Would highly recommend their service to anyone who needs a repair. Upon arriving 10-15 minutes early for my appointment, another individual came in around the same time. The tech on duty started to work on their car as I waited a few more minutes for my scheduled slot. Once my time came, the tech was still busy helping the other individual...so...waiting another 5-10 more minutes was fine....15 minutes later, the tech finally gets my vehicle and starts to work on it. Curious, does safelite schedule multiple people for the same time slots? Well, 40 minutes later my vehicle gets finished, I get my keys back and I pay. I inspect my vehicle and it looks like a good job was done. After some months, I notice some tiny rust marks and a slight misalignment of my installation. Not huge issues but...not what I expected. :( read more
