I scheduled an appt. with them and gave them my contact info. Meanwhile I found out that they were the most expensive so I cancelled and got someone cheaper. Since then they have been sending me SO MANY texts and emails asking me to come back and offering a discount. I asked them 3 TIMES to stop spamming me and they won't!! They also tell you you have to buy new wipers from them or you void the warrenty. The other company who replaced my glass told me safelite has the worst reputation. The guy fixing my glass used to work for them and quit they were so bad. He said they have a deal with Bosch windsheild wipers so they hard sell them. You only really need new wipers if glass fragments got into your wipers. You usually don't need new wipers. Do yourself a favor and find a different company so you can save money, not get spammed forever, and deal with someone more reputable! read more

great customer service, I received one quote online and one on the phone and then received an email with another discount. so when I came in for my appointment I talked to them about adjusting the price to my e-mail promotion. They did honor it and gave me an additional discount but then explained to me that online does have better promotions and even prepaying gives you another discount! so book online AND pay online. you will get the better price doing it that way. We had two defective windshields installed on our Tesla Model Y at this location. Both the windshields had scratches and stains that couldn't be removed. To their credit, they offered to replace them for free each time. We got frustrated with the process after the 2nd defective windshield and we dragged our feet on scheduling the 3rd replacement as we don't live nearby, and it costs us time/money to drop off car, take time off work, get a ride their and back, etc. Fast forward a couple of months, we call to schedule the replacement for the 3rd time, and now they won't honor it. They say we waited too long to schedule. Our fault for trusting them to honor the offer and waiting a couple of months. On another note, we got a windshield for our Tacoma truck replaced at this location in between the 2nd and failed 3rd replacement attempt for the Model Y. They returned the truck to us with dirty install tools left in the cab that they must've forgotten. Some of these were sharp and could've caused injury. ***AVOID*** Reach out to a local Auto glass repair. I went in for a chip on my windshield that was about 1inch by 1 inch and it came out with a huge crack in the windshield. Then get told I would have to pay my $500 deductible from insurance to have the windshield replaced or $300 out of pocket for after market windshield. I went to Mikes Auto Glass who drove out and replaced my windshield in 30 minutes for $195. This place is a joke. read more

These guys run a very tight schedule so get here early or On Time! I arrived a little late unfortunately . About 10 minutes. They told me that they have someone slated for every hour but he would try and get it done ASAP. Then he jumped on it quick and was working fast. Impressive! The facility is located in a business park and is very clean. They have a small waiting room that has a self serve cup of gourmet coffee or tea waiting to be made. A nice touch I think everyone can appreciate. Jessie was working on my car and was very professional and courteous as well which always makes the experience so much better. They said it could take up to an hour and a half to do the job. Jessie did it in 45 minutes! What? That was lightning fast! Yes this place may not be the cheapest place in town to get your windshield done but the quality and professionalism at which they perform their job is unsurpassed. The only reason I am giving this a 4 start rating is because of Jade Parker, the Store Manager of the Placerville, CA location. Let me explain. My niece is 16 years old and three months ago we purchased her first vehicle, a 2004 Honda. Within a month or so her windshield cracked from the driver side to the passenger side and was unsafe to drive. I scheduled an on-line appointment to have her windshield replaced here at my home on Thursday, July 24. I received an E-mail stating that Zavier would be here between 1:00 p.m and 5:00 p.m. My niece, my husband and I were home all day waiting for the technician to show up. Around 4:00 p.m. (I was a bit impatient) so I called the Placerville store and was told that we were definitely scheduled and that the tech was coming from Folsom. Well, Zavier never did arrive nor did he call and explain why. I called the Placerville store at 5:30 p.m. (surprised someone was still there) -- and the Manager, Jade Parker, answered. He said he did not know what happened but that if it was okay with us he would come to our house on his Harley, pick up the Honda, take it back to the shop, and install it. It was okay with us and that is exactly what he did. He arrived here at approximately 5:45 p.m., picked up the Honda, took it back to his shop, installed the windshield and was back here before 7:30 p.m. A thank you doesn't seem adequate. He went beyond and above to resolve our problem -- it was just unbelievable that he would do this for us --- I know he got home late for dinner that night. This is my 2nd experience with Safelite, the 1st experience was good. On 5/25/2022 I called in to schedule a replacement windshield as mine had cracked from a rock chip. My first negative experience was the automated circle runaround that didn't allow me to speak to someone, I was driving and needed to chat to answer some basic questions. Once I finally spoke to someone and let them know I needed a new windshield she said it was covered under warranty from my previous replacement. Shocked of course so I asked her, "this warranty includes rock chips and cracks"? She responded yes and transferred me the the warranty claims department. Now, I am thinking this is awesome since there will be no claim to my insurance company. That was not the case, in fact after waiting for another 10 minutes for this agent I was quickly returned back to the original department for my claim. The gentleman that took that call was very helpful and apologetic. But of course then there was a system crash and all of the information provided was somehow not saved, so he asked if he could call me back. As promised he called me back but the appointment I wanted was gone so we had to reschedule. My new appointment window was 8am -12 pm today, after waiting for 4 hours and 15 minutes I decided to call and see what's going on. I am now told, my windshield didn't make it in time for my tech and it came on a later delivery truck and that he would be at my house sometime after 2:30. No call, no heads up, no text, no firm time, nothing. (I received a confirmation text the night before) Its no big deal to waste 6+ hours of my time right? The installer shows up and says he can't calibrate my camera because the truck is lifted...the funny part is they calibrated it in 2017 and the truck sits exactly the same....I called Reliable Auto Glass and they laughed and said that they do it all the time...Rescheduled with them... We had a technician come to our home to replace our car windshield. He was nice enough, but incorrectly installed the windshield. He told us that we'd need to take it into the shop, as we would need 2 technicians to properly install another windshield, that it would take an hour or less to install it. We not only took time away from work for a Friday appointment at our home, but then had to set aside time to take it to their shop on a Monday morning. I was told to arrive 10 minutes early. I arrived at 8:50 and the office worker said it was going to be 1.5 hours. I had no way to leave, so I waited ... and waited... people that came in at 10:00 had their cars back before me. I approached the office worker to explain to me what was going on, because over 2 hours had passed, and when I checked on my car... only 1 technician was replacing the windshield, when I was told that they needed 2 to get the job done right. The office worker... said that it takes longer due to calibration and threw his hands up. I explained that I understood that, but y'all already messed up 1 install and now it's taking much longer than you explained it would. I didn't mention it, but I was worried they messed up again. I said I've been here since 8:50 and it's now after 11:00.... He said "Good!" ...Unbelievable! I will never use this place again!! I've honestly never had customer service that was so bad!! Safety auto glass repaired the windshield on a 2017 Buick Regal and did not reconnect the remote key and tire pressure monitor. They should know better. This wound up to be a costly repair. This was after they did a spot repair to the windshield and it cracked resulting in total windshield replacement. I recommend staying away from this place. read more

My installers name was Alex Santiago, Kept his appointment as scheduled, but when he got here he pointed out that my windshield had a problem with its retainer it was torn from one corner slightly.... but he seemed to go out of his way not to do the work, he built a case to plead to his manager so that way he wouldn't have to do the work.... I knew right when he got here that he didn't have the passion to do his job I felt like he just collecting a check... I'm guessing he gets paid hourly so whether he does a job or doesn't his check still comes out the same..... Anyhow he said he couldn't do it so I asked if I can just purchase the windshield so I can take it downtown and have somebody install it... he asked his manager in his manager said no.... so as he started collecting the windshield removing my retainer from it... he dropped and shattered the brand new windshield that they refused to sell me shame on them.... Sent pics in of my windshield when it was about 4 inches long, now I wake up this morning and the crack had now grown to about a foot long. Quick to get your money, slow when there is an issue. Can't even talk to a live person, everything through emailing. I know we are going through a pandemic, but that is not an excuse to treat customers like they don't matter. I decided to contact Safelite because I saw their ads on television so many times that I figured they could be trusted. After logging onto their website I noticed they had an office in Pico Rivera so I called, compared their prices to two other quotes I received and booked an appointment. Their prices were the best and their office was much more convenient so it was a win win situation for me. I was quoted a little over $350 for both windows to be replaced and installed. Not bad. I had my drivers side window and the windshield of my dad's pick-up truck replaced after someone vandalized his truck. You can see the pictures of the broken windows in this post. I didn't take any after pictures but the windows came out great. Like factory brand new kind of great. Anyway, that's aside from the point. Back to the review. Well, my appointment was at 9am and I arrived at 8:45am and checked in. After waiting 45 minutes to finally have my car looked at, I was told it would be two hours to fix. So I decided I would go home and come back. I received a call about 11am and was told that there was rust beneath the old windshield and they would have to try and scrub it off before they could place the new windshield on. Something about the adhesive not being able to stick on rust. Understandable. They were able to get the rust off but if it was serious rusting I would have had to take the truck to be repaired at a body shop so they could remove the rust and fix the area where the windshield would be placed. I dodged a bullet with that one. At about 3pm my truck was ready. I picked up the truck and both windows were great and the job was complete. Now, when I say they are good but not great, it's because after I took the truck home and inspected it a bit more, I noticed that there was broken glass from the old windows still in the cab of the truck, on the floor, on the seat, and in the door - you could hear the little bit of leftover broken glass when you closed the door. I thought that maybe they would have at least vacuumed the glass from inside the door but apparently not. At least I was able to vacuum up the broken glass from the inside of the cab. Still a little disappointed about the glass in the truck door but I can live with it. Otherwise, they are definitely worth the money. read more
