This Warwick store cancelled my 8 am appointment yesterday at the last moment. I paid extra for an 8 am appointment. Let's go under the assumption I believed the excuse. It was then changed to 8 am today. After endless calls I am now being told it will be more like 2 pm. After all the excuses and broken promises I will be shocked if they show up. On my last call to them I said tell your manager you are about to get a bad review on Yelp. He said We'll do. After 5 minutes of excuses and saying he has no way to know why this is happening because he wasn't working yesterday. Lol, you can't make this stuff up. I guess they don't use computers yet. One of the unfortunate aspects of living in Providence is the fairly high probability that you will be the victim of property crime at some point. While violent crime is relatively low, even in the safest of neighborhoods I've had my car broken into. Safelite is an auto glass repair business. They have a mobile unit that will come to you to fix your window, or you can drive down to their location. Sadly both my wife and I have had to use their services in the last month (my window got smashed when parked at a friends house, hers got smashed when parked at her office) and we were happy with the results. We were unable to use their mobile service because it was raining and we do not have a covered area to work. It makes sense - the technician has to take your door apart to replace the window, and they don't want to be liable for any water damage that occurs. Safelite is located off of Jefferson Boulevard. It's a little tricky to find but if your GPS wasn't stolen you should be able to get there. The people I've dealt with are nice and professional. The work was done well as far as I can tell. The window they put in goes up and down, I'm not sure what else to look for. The waiting room is a dreadfully boring space with a loud TV you can't ignore and no wifi, but at least it's large, clean, and modern. The guys were pretty quick when I brought my car in, so I think I was only stuck waiting for about an hour. read more

I would like to follow up that customer service from satellite contacted me only to inform me that my damaged headlight was not their fault. Not only did they damage my head light but they refuse to even acknowledge the situation. I would really suggest you look elsewhere for windshield replacement. read more

Ugh - I HATE the jingle ("Safelite repair, Safelite replace!")...but this place totally saved me! I returned to my vehicle after my Friday workday to discover that a passing vehicle had kicked up a rock which cracked my windshield. Frantic - I called my insurance company who directed me to Safelite. I made an appointment through my insurance company for THE NEXT DAY! On my way to THAT appointment, a truck on he highway kicked up (you guessed it) ANOTHER rock for ANOTHER chip! Safelite said "noooo problemo!" (In more graceful words, of course) and had my sweet ride up and running (crack-free) in no time! Nice people, friendly and honest, fast service. Excellent service! I had my windshield replaced today at the Warwick location and from the reminder email I got the day before until I left I could not have had a better experience. Everyone there was nice, polite, friendly and courteous. I was in and out quicker than I thought. They cleaned the windshield, switched over my inspection sticker and even vacuumed out the front of my car! I have never had such wonderful service. The work was spot on and looks great. I had a huge crack in my window and I have to get my car inspected. Safelight came within 2 weeks of me scheduling my appt online. I was working from home via Telehealth and in meetings. Best repair experience I have ever experienced. After getting a crack in my windshield I stopped by on a Saturday morning to get it repaired. The manager Michael was super helpful and suggested we call our insurance to get them to take care of it so we don't have to pay out of pocket. He also let us call back later with the referral number from our insurance company because we could not get in touch with the glass rep while we were there. The whole process took about 30 minutes maybe less and you can only see a small tiny circle from where the crack was. Amazing. I'm really happy with the service I experienced and how great they treat their customers. Thanks so much for making it an easy process! I recently purchased a car from Carmax in North Attleboro almost 2 years ago. I had an issue with the windshield when I bought it. Carmax had Safelite come out and replace the windshield. Fast forward to now. I was recently removing snow from my front windshield and I noticed a crack near the rear-view mirror. The rear-view mirror fell off at one point in the year when it was hot outside. I purchased a kit from AutoZone and I glued the rear-view mirror to the windshield. I must have crack the glass or something because over time it must have weaken the glass. I don't know, but I took it down to Mike(Store manager) at Safelite. He said it was caused by the installation of the rear view mirror. It did weaken the glass over time. I was correct!!! I called my insurance company and they said you have a $500 deductible and that they was not going to cover it. I called Mike(Store Manager) back at Safelite and he said let me take a second look at it. To make a long story short. He was able to get it under Safelite's guaranteed warranty because of the work they did prior to me picking up the car two years AGO???? Two years AGO???? I said WHATTTT!!!! Mike (Store Manager) said all you have to do is be here at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Be on time for your appointment is all he ask??? I was there with 2 dozen of donuts for the guys at 7:45. (15 minutes to get the donuts from Dunkin lol) The windshield was done at 9:17 am. Mike handed me the keys and said thank you for using Safelite. He handed me a receipt and it said $0 due from the customer. I almost cried!!!! That windshield for my Audi TT was $343 with tax. Today because of Mike (Store Manager) I paid NOTHING!!!! I am estastic!!!! Thank you so much Mike and Safelite!!! Safelite has blown my expectations and more!!! Great people and a great company. They stood by everything they said they was going to do. Deceptive, dishonest and absolutely no accountability. Have been dodging me for 2 months after installing the wrong windshield. Put an alleged OEM windshield on a brand new SUV, with a missing shade bar! The factory windshield comes with built in tint/shade bar spanning across the windshield. The installer clearly ignored the fact the replacement did not have this. Proceeded with install. Calls to Safelite are nearly impossible. Cannot get a number/contact anywhere on their website. Have to go through insurance company. Have called 5-10x. Always an excuse. Called dealership per their request, researched VIN, etc. Instead of owning their mistake, run-around and nonsense. No calls back. STAY AWAY from Safelite. Liars, and over degenerate staff. Still no resolution for counterfeit windshield they placed on my vehicle. read more

I don't normally write reviews but this has got to be one of the WORST customer service companies I have ever dealt with. My boyfriend got his windshield repaired and a day later it spread throughout the WHOLE windshield. I called 3 different customer service lines and they all told me a refund isn't possible all they can do is credit it towards a windshield replacement. WHY would I trust them to replace my windshield when they couldn't even repair it and stand by their "lifetime warranty". Beware and read the "warranty" policy carefully. read more

Prompt, efficient and neat installation of brand new windshield. The young gentleman who removed old and installed the new one was extremely polite and a very hard worker. My experience with Safelite has been a nightmare! When the technician first came out he ended up cutting a big piece of the interior. Safelite quickly offered to repair the part and sent someone out a few days later. I thought this was very customer service oriented and was quite impressed at how they handled the situation. However that was far from the end of the experience. A few days later it rained for the first time since the repair and water was leaking all around the window perimiter. My girlfriend called and they told her they could take a look at it next week. (One full rainy week of leaking all over the interior). I called on her behalf and somehow an opening tomorrow morning appeared. We came in the next day and dropped the car off. A half hour later they call us and tell us they just realized that not only had the original technician cut a piece of the interior, but he actually cut into the frame itself (passenger A pillar) If they had not done such a terrible job with weatherstripping my poor girlfriend could be driving around in a car with a damaged frame without ever knowing until set was in an accident. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL. They acted like they were doing us some huge favor by renting us a car and sending the car to a bodyshop to get fixed (both were legal obligations, just trying not to get sued). 20 days later we find out the car is ready by getting a call from the rental place telling us Safelite won't pay for any longer. Naturally we then called safelite and they told us it was ready. To top it all off the manager Mike refused to give a discount on the service, despite the insane inconvenience. This car was a Honda Civic, it's not like it is something rare or unusual. I would seriously recommend you avoid this place like the plague. JUST DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!! read more

Amazing and professional service technician arrived on time and was very pleasant!

Although I was satisfied with the service I received last year, I am overwhelmingly disappointed in the quality of the windshield that was installed. According to the tech who looked at my windshield, there was impact, not a stress crack. The spot he indicated was about the size of a pen tip. The resulting crack went up and across my windshield. Now, it would seem that this minute piece of space dust or whatever it was that allegedly hit my windshield would not have caused this extreme damage if the windshield were high quality glass. So I'll be taking my car to Altieri Glass. Hopefully the quality will be better. The PRICE certainly is. read more

Do NOT go here to get your windshield changed! I had my windshield changed a little more than a week ago and it seemed nice at first, TIL IT STARTED RAINING. My car started leaking water towards the inside and my interior lights wouldn't work. I took my car to the dealership to have it looked at it and fixed. They told me that due to the windshield not making contact all the water from the rain leaked onto my dashboard into all my computers! I called Safelite on the same day and they told me they would send someone over the next day at 1PM. SO TELL ME WHY I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TODAY AND THEY SAID SAFELITE SAID THEY WERE GOING TO SEND SOMEONE IN ON MONDAY. A WHOLE WEEK after I mentioned the problem to them. I don't think they realize how inconvenient it is for the customer after a problem they had caused. I called back safelite and their customer service representative hung up on me after she told me she'll talk to the manager. She still have never gotten back to me. I have gone here on two separate occasions. The first was a result of me being an idiot, and cracking my windshield; the second was because *gasp* my car got broken in to, and the front passenger window needed to be replaced. In both cases, service was provided quickly and with the utmost quality. With the broken window in particular, they vacuumed the whole car - far beyond just cleaning the glass (which was in itself, unexpected). I called on a Wednesday to get an appointment for the huge crack in my windshield. I was able to schedule service at my home for Friday. ( I probably would have been able to get an earlier appointment on Thursday, but we had a snow storm and the work was done outside). They were able to give me an estimate over the phone, and it was right on the money. On the initial call, they told me to expect someone between 1-5 pm. Rob, the technician, called me later and gave me a more specific time frame of between 2 to 4 pm. They also followed up via email with the new time frame, and a picture of the technician who would be performing the service. Rob was actually half an hour early! He was courteous, organized, and professional. He did a great job on the repair, and also washed all the windows and vacuumed my entire truck. He arrived at 1:30 and the work was complete by 3:00 pm, with instructions that the truck would be fine to drive by 3:30 pm. I had to leave for work, but Rob made sure to review everything with my wife and leave the paperwork. I had already made payment arrangements, so the process was totally smooth and hassle free. I thought the pricing was on point. You might be able to find something for a bit less, but the convenience factor and quick thorough service make it well worth it. I got an email confirmation and a call to remind me of my upcoming appointment. They also gave me the best deal by utilizing one of the promotions so I ended up saving over $50 dollars. Not only that but I spent 2 hours there and I even got job advice for my upcoming interview. 110% best staff. I was a store manager so I dont say that lightly. They deserve an award. I think. Probably the most rude woman to answer the phone, because safelite failed to replace my window the first time I was forced to reschedule. I had recently gotten hired at a new job and they needed me to work on the new day I had set up for my windshield replacement. I called and asked if they would come to my job which is 5 minutes down the street and the woman gave me attitude saying because it's a different zip code I would have to reschedule for a 3rd time. After about 10 minutes she decided 5 minutes down the road isn't a big deal and changed it for me so the technician would come to my job. Then she proceeded to just hang up on me while I was in the middle of talking. The only reason I'm going here is because my insurance is covering the replacement and it's their recommended service provider, other than that I won't be back. read more

Do not go there . The repair system they use breaks more windows than it repairs. Then they get you for a new windshield. Really go elsewhere . I had a cracked windshield that needed replacing. Called another business first, they didn't travel to my end of the state. (RI is not very big!) Called SafeLite. Got an appointment for two days later. Matt was there on time, explained the process to me, and took his time to do a great job. Even got my inspection sticker back on the new windshield. From the time frame the technician was suppose to come . He came pretty fast. The guy was pretty nice , he did the job in less than 30 minutes and he switched my windshield wiper blades with no problem. He also did clean my windshield glass and it came out beautiful. Now the only reason I did not give it a 5 stars on this review is because I feel like it was unnecessary to charge for a mobile service fee for $30! But they did give me a discount for $25 but still it wasn't necessary to charge that much. Overall the total Price for the service wasn't that bad either, it coulda been cheaper but I was okay with the price range. I do recommend this to a friend or family but I would rather call them or try to schedule an appointment to avoid that mobile service fee! read more
