Well, the staff was kind and courteous, but apparently Safelite has a policy that if you have a crack in a certain place on the windshield, they won't repair the windshield anymore and insist that you have to replace it. They won't give a good reason for this, and they won't make any exceptions.They were going to charge me $160 to get one crack filled, and then tried to charge me to get a new windshield. I immediately left and went somewhere else who filled the crack without issue for half the price. read more

My wife literally wasted 2 hours of round trip driving and 3 hours to get the call that the vehicle was done. I'm no windshield expert but when she got home, I could see the issues immediately. On the passenger side top left corner of the windshield the glass is scratched. Passenger side top of glass that meets the roof sits pretty flush but the driver side sticks up probably more than a quarter of an inch and if you just lightly press down on the glass it looks normal and then you release it and it pops back up. Top middle portion of the glass where the cameras look through has smudges and even a piece of hair. Definitely not happy. Sent a message earlier through Safelite but nothing has been received back. Must not be that important. I also have a video with time and date stamp so they can't say we didn't do that. read more

My back window was broken on a thanksgiving trip. I'm from out of town and my insurance recommended this place. They replaced my window but in the process broke my hydraulic lift for door. There is so much glass left in the door that they didn't remove either. It is now February and it still hasn't been fixed. I have to reach out to the manager to ask where we are in the process every week. It's been a completely frustrating process that I shouldn't even had to go through. read more

I highly recommend this Safelite. Arturo greeted my 16 yr old daughter as she came in for a windshield replacement and was very professional. I was on the phone in case she needed help, but there was no need because Arturo had everything ready and got the car right in for the appointment. He said it would be 45 minutes but it was finished in 30. The cost for the windshield replacement was less than the quote too! I will use them again in the future. read more

Like an idiot, I chipped my windshield again on the way back to Yakima from Seattle. My insurance got me connected again to Safelite again and just like last time, they showed up and got the job done. Colton was professional, on time, communicative, and provided pictures of the repair. Props again to Safelite and I am realizing that this location as a whole has amazing Customer Service. Carlos assisted me last time and was amazing, and Colton matched the excellent customer service this time around. The guy came out on the wrong day for a chip repair. He came at around somewhere between 7 and 8. Woke me up. There was frost on everything. I asked him if he should maybe do it later in the day. He said no, and that the chip would be smaller when he finished. It was bigger on my brand new Honda Civic. I called the office and pretty got "too bad, so sad." Made no effort to help in any way. I WILL NEVER USE SAFELIGHT ANYWHERE EVER AGAIN!! read more

My car had a small chip on the windshield. It was fixed promptly. It was an easy process. Employees were professional and kind.

New Subaru and had another truck throw a rock into my windshield. Safelite manager looked at it and offered to try and fix it. Unfortunately the chip had already started to spread and if couldn't be filled in. They didn't charge me or my insurance for trying. Going back to have them replace my windshield, because of the great customer service. I was happy to hear they could replace my windshield and recalibrate the eyesight. read more

So I'm only rating this place a one star because lack of communication from business. I had an appointment to go in and get my front windshield replaced, got the email the night before and got a text message the same morning, I drop off my kid with babysitter, arrange for someone to pick me up and when I show up and let them know that I'm there for my appointment they told me "oh you didn't get the a phone call about your window". I knew right there that they didn't have my window and sure enough they said it's on back order and offered the generic version of OEM glass, after all the trouble I had to go through that morning just thought, Wow!!! One simple phone call could have avoided everything that I had been through that morning, I haven't even heard back from them yet to see when my window will be coming in, but for now I'll be going to another window replacement place my insurance recommends. read more

I wish I could remember the employees names to give them a good shout-out. So, whoever was working on Friday the 24th of September- you guys rock. (Get it?) I had two rock chips that spread less than an inch. They explained to me the risks of repair and the other option, a new windshield. I opted for the chip repair and in 30 mins they were done and I got a text. The shop was clean, service was prompt, and their attitudes professional. Made an appointment for a windshield replacement and wiper blades and they did a great job. Said it would take 90-120 minutes and it was ready in 90 minutes. Super friendly and courteous. They even tried to clean my other windows and gave me some free glass cleaner. While I was waiting, someone else came in without an appointment and they were nice to him as well, letting him know it'd be about 20-30 minutes while they finished up what they were working on. For myself and this walk-in, they staff immediately addressed us. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

Took longer than said to get window replaced on truck and then when they finally got it done I came to pick it up and there was a fair sized dent in my truck door that wasn't there when I left it. When I questioned the staff they basically said there was no way they could have done it and that I'd have to file a insurance claim (I was there having my window fixed on a claim) don't go to them! read more

My vacation was a little jacked up when my window was busted out in that God-forsaken wasteland they call Seattle. I drove to Yakima where Safelite provided prompt service-doing everything they promised. They had my insurance info from years ago in my home state and the repair did not cost me anything out of pocket. Thinking they only did windshields, I did not even realize Safelite repaired side windows- especially electric ones! The technician vacuumed up all the glass which had flown all over. Had a chip fixed here on a new car. The fix was not up to standards, even another glass shop said it did not look like it had even been fixed! So had to have the windshield replaced. Got credit for the not so good previous job. Would recommend checking another Safelite Glass shop before going here. read more

My brand-new windshield from Safelite Auto Glass experienced a stress crack before my very eyes while I was driving; since I witnessed it happening about a foot and a half from my face, I know for a fact that no impact occurred. Since this was within the time period of the much-touted "National Lifetime Warranty," I visited the location that had installed the windshield to see about making an appointment to take valid advantage of the same. I could not believe my eyes when the employee examining my windshield got under the rubber weather strip, where the stress fracture had originated, and scratched at the end of it with a sharp metal tool, creating what could pass for a miniscule chip if you wanted to believe it badly enough - then smugly turned to me and identified the gouge he had just made as the point of impact that must have caused the crack. Of course, I called him on this, but after all, what could I do about it when he was sticking to his story? He then had the stones to suggest creating an estimate for replacing the windshield, since the "National Lifetime Warranty" would not be honored. God only knows how deeply this corruption runs and who else Safelite has done this to, just to avoid honoring the warranty they like to brag about so ostentatiously. Gross. As long as I was going to have to buy my second brand-new windshield in just a few months, I decided not to give the business to these unethical, outright wicked crooks and went to their competitor at 119 1st Avenue. I see now that that is where I should have gone in the first place, since they're not, you know, evil. read more
