Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing due to the disrespectful way my child and I were treated. I want to be clear that not every employee was involved, and there are good workers who care, but it only takes a few people's actions to negatively impact a child's experience and make families feel unwelcome. One employee made a comment toward my child saying, "God bless that kid," in a way that came across as inappropriate and as if there was something wrong with my child. Comments like that are unacceptable and should never be directed toward a child. I believe children deserve to be treated with kindness, patience, and respect. I will be looking into the proper steps to address this situation, including possible legal action if necessary, because concerns involving children should always be taken seriously.

I pay $70 a month for four 30 minute group swim lessons. Only once was my son paired with another child for a swim lesson. The other three times we got a private 20 minute lesson for the price of a group lesson because there weren't any other children signed up in that time slot. There is also an annual family registration fee for $35 I believe. They sell goggles, caps, kick boards, towels and suits for a great price. I could find them cheaper anywhere else. All the other swim lesson places charge more than twice as much as Sea Sports and I can't imagine better service.

The class was hard but also relaxing because it was heated. The instructor was specific and knew her stuff. The class was full but you had to register to get a spot. We had plenty of room to spread out. I attend several life time locations and this one is close to work. The app is super convent and allows you to look for a specific class, locations and instructors. The facility is beautiful , well maintained and the gym environment is lively and energetic which helps motivate you.

The level of professionalism and schedule conflicts that have risen from Glendy in trying to get my…read moredaughter swimming lessons has been abysmal. I began to try to schedule lessons in June 2021. When we got lessons lined up for July, she canceled due to her getting COVID. After months of uncertainty of when rescheduling would be possible (due to her health) we sadly decided to cancel lessons and try again in 2022. I set up lessons in February/March 2022 for July 2022. Everything was set. I received an email confirmation and text with lesson details (which were very demanding) about a month ahead of lessons, and then a few days ahead. Today, on the first date of our scheduled lessons I received a phone call from Glendy saying she did not have me on her schedule for my time slot and if I can take a slot 2 hours later. As we live in Houston and Glendy is 45 minutes away, I told her I would have to speak to my husband about the change as we both work. I spoke to my husband, and we rearranged both of our work schedules for the entire week. Glendy then calls me back and says we do have a slot that she was just looking at the wrong schedule. I informed her that we just moved our entire weeks around and she apologized for the first time at this time. She then said she would try to move some things around. I got a text saying she will "make it work". I got another call and she said for us to come anyway and she'll "figure it out". What does that mean? I told her I didn't want my daughter to have to share a session with anyone and she raised her voice with me, told me she wouldn't do that, and hung up on me. I sent Glendy a text saying I didn't appreciate her hanging up on me especially after we have been accommodating on all the changes. I got another call from her saying she figured out a solution by asking another family to move their session and we would get a session today later in the evening close to the rescheduled time which I accepted. Now out of the blue, this afternoon she called me to cancel our lessons indefinitely and that we can find someone else to give our daughter lessons. This woman is unprofessional and unorganized. I do not recommend her services.

Is there an additional price for a child with a disability (mind you, I left my son in the car due to what we had just experienced at the previous swim school). No further questions were asked by the staff, she simply answered not and proceeded to show me the price list. She went straight to individual lessons. My son is 6 years old and autistic with no physical or cognitive disabilities. The media has spiked with autistic children drownings, and it is terrifying as a parent. It's been very hard and challenging simply trying to find a place if feel like he isn't judged or treated differently.
