As a medical provider, I've had to take CPR/BLS since 2005. This class was the best class by far. It went at a steady pace and the instructor was knowledgeable. I didn't feel like the class used up my whole day and the class was the perfect size. They also offer coffee, tea, and little granola bars. read more

This was my first time taking safetytraining seminars. So I enjoyed the class fine and the Instructor at the Berkley site was well knowledgeable. 1)when I got to the site I was looking for the place and I was running 5 minutes late so I called the main line to find out exactly where the bldg was , when I did they the lady on the phone informed me that the class had changed from 9am to 10am after I already paid for parking! So then I was mad because nobody Informed me of the change and then that pushes the time that we get out back and I had plans etc. So then I think well I can get breakfast somewhere. So as I'm taking my time, I decide let me just at least walk towards the class so I know where it's at. I get to the class room thinking no one is in there and to my surprise there the acls class was already started at 9am !!!! I told the instructor that when I called the main number the lady informed me of the time change, so I was 30 minutes late to my class at this point because the time never changed. So the Instructor called the main line and apparently she thought I asked for bls instead of acls so she instructed me to the 10am class, but apparently she told another student the same thing so the other student came in after I did both late. Communication breakdown. 2) checked into yelp for the free CPR mask , instructor said they didn't have any so they should probably take that offer down! read more

I did not receive a freebie, I am just thanking Safety Training Seminars for their service! I have been taking CPR/First Aid renewal courses for...40 years now! That means at least 22 times, egads! This company does a thorough job and covers all the bases. I enjoy reviewing the information because I do not ever USE it (thank goodness) and want to keep prepared in case I DO need it AED is important to know. I am a teacher- high school Health Ed., and it is now required to teach CPR in our classes to our students by the CALIF Health standards. I a also a certified Health and Fitness Coach and need to keep current, so this class was a good choice for my full tie schedule. They were helpful in allowing me to re-schedule and also have a nice learning facility. Go for it, and get certified! read more

Took a BLS class for a renewal. Had a great instructor, TJ, who taught me new stuff and some real life tips and tricks. I've taken BLS classes before and this was by far the best and least boring. The instructor made sure we were confident and able to help when needed. $60 for the class, $20 for the stupid book. A free keychain CPR mask when you check in on yelp or Facebook. read more

Chantel is an Awesome instructor! I needed to renew for work and school purposes. First class that did not drag! I actually felt like I learned something and will not fear putting what I learned into effect if a situation presents itself. Also, they provide free drinks and snacks! Woo whoo! I needed to take a CPR class for my job and this the place I felt fit for me the best, close to home and the schedule is very flexible than other places(atlas for my schedule). The place is a small office not sure how every day looks like but, I took my class on a Sunday afternoon which was perfect especially for parking since around the area is a lot of meter parking after 6pm is free. It was a small class which was perfect for someone shy like me =). We watched videos on training and did some hands on. The instructor was helpful and nice guy. This is a 2 to 3 hr class, they have water tea and some snacks you can have will in session. At the end you get a 25 question test and is tested right there and you get your card if you pass. GOOD LUCK TO EVERY ONE WHO TAKES THE TEST!!!! read more

Very good instructor. He explained everything in a way that's it's easier to remember. Because let's face it, in an emergency situation, it's nearly impossible to recall what you've learned in a classroom. Knowing the reasoning behind each concept helps the brain recall more easily.
