It is located in a residential area and most of the people who shop here live a few blocks away. This isn't a large supermarket, so they don't carry every brand. However, it is a very nice little neighborhood market that has basically everything one might need for a meal. I admire that Murphy's works with the community to locally source many products (e.g. works with local fishermen and farmers, and with local businesses like Los Bagels and Brio). Nice that a neighborhood market is invested in well...the neighborhood. The grill and deli counter also serves up some tasty food. If you don't feel like cooking, they have quite a few hot food (e.g. burgers, hot dogs, rotisserie chicken, etc.) and cold cut options (e.g. sandwiches and wraps). I enjoy shopping here.

Our last visit was not any different, the place was packed with cars and there were several people waiting inside for food (fried chicken) or to pay at the register for fuel, drinks, etc. We finally got to an open fuel pump, paid at the pump, got our 20 cent a gallon discount, gassed up the car and off we went. I was just establishing my "cheese legs" when I had a schmear of it on a grainy cracker. The cheese was so delicious it stopped me in my tracks. Ever since I've been a fan of every cheese from Cypress Grove. My favs are the soft ripened varieties including all the Humboldt Fog remixes. The fresh cups are super spreadable varieties that can transform even the most casual cheese courses into something special. I love when I stumble on one I've never tried - it lands in my grocery basket without as much as a second guess. Can't wait for the Chipotle Cacao remix! I can't remember a cheese course I've served without Humboldt Fog - if I had a dollar for every time someone told me I turned them onto HF, I'd have a small fortune.
