Name is Sophia I think , rude employee
Bg Z.

This employee always has a bad attitude . This is the only time I seen her smile. Don't come into work if you hate your job. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Don't ignore customers. Horrible customer service. If you don't speak English you can say no hablas ingles. Don't stare with a mean mug. Don't point and not open your mouth l. If you don't like dealing with people then get a desk or remote job.

No fried chicken breasts again or chicken tenders at 6:15 pm and no four count fudge brownies again

Large store that carries more items than smaller stores and offers side facilities, like pharmacy and liquor departments. The checkers are always helpful when they're on the aisles help me find items that I don't normally find easily. Managements always available when you ask for one. And they're open to listen to comments. For me the key thing about shopping here is they offer MOBILITY carts for seniors and handicapped. And this allows me to shop longer and for more items. This is a huge plus For any store.

The hard working Luis!

I want to give a shout out to Luis at the delicatessen counter of my Safeway store. On a busy Friday with $5 chicken special and a huge line of people waiting, Luis was so fast and friendly in moving the line of 9 people. Kudos to him and his hard work! Thank you for your wonderful customer service!

Never enough checkers, even during busy times. If this store has a manager, they're terrible at their job.

Lines are so long they reach the back of the store but they only have 5 lanes open. Only three self checkout lines are operational.

This is the biggest Safeway I've ever been to. Bigger means more products! Wish it was closer to my house.

I suggest renaming this store, apathy Safeway. Across the board, disinterest in helping anybody with anything.

Overall the best thing about this store is a Manager named Daniel. He realizes his store, for…read morewhatever reasons, does NOT have the selection or options of some other (perhaps larger) Lucky stores. Eg - when I went to get a raincheck on an item (then found out they didn't even carry it) he made it right by giving me the option to buy the same item in different size at a pro rata same price as the raincheck. Otherwise imagine - I would have had to drive maybe 7 miles or more to another Lucky. That might or might not have the item... Lucky chain seems to have taken a hit from the online ordering stores such as Whole Foods Market. So this is not a glamorous store. If rating just the store, I might rate it a 3 (I need to give them credit for being open in the area when other stores are closed etc...I know the Lucky off San Pablo Dam Road totally CLOSED... Hate to see that happen to this one). The 5 rating is for Daniel working to make things right. I observed him helping others, and trying to be patient with an employee who made a mistake. I think it's hard for retail managers to find good long term employees these days. And that likely makes it harder to be a manager. Ie - I would imagine few people at the top of the talent pool enter a Lucky grocery store expecting a long term career anymore....Anyway, Daniel is excellent / top of the talent pool material. If he ever needs a promotion or applies to another employer, I hope he can use this review as an example of his managerial skills.

The "convenience center" is not convenient. Always locked, nobody around…read more This sucks because this is where all the health/beauty supplies are - the saline and Aosept for contact lens, the depends for my folks, lotion, soap. I mean seriously who is going to steal this stuff. It's unfortunate because this is the closest grocery store to my parents. I'm always glum shopping here but what are you going to do. Understaffed, lack of management.... at least they carry my Dad's favorite cookies - Polvorones. (Shortbread orange cookies)

They play fun music that sometimes makes people spontaneously break into song and dance in the aisles. Okay, maybe I'm painting an exaggerated picture here - it's not like a musical - you need to go to the Oakland store for that level of engagement ;) The Richmond store aisles also feel a bit more spacious than other branches of the GO and staff members are usually friendly. Anyway, the Grocery Outlet is becoming increasingly useful for anyone on a budget (check out Ethical Bargains) and especially anyone who's trying to adopt a more sustainable, plant-based diet. Meat and dairy substitutes can be expensive, so this is one of my main reasons for going. The other is red wine - it can be a lot of fun trying to find excellent wines there and some are on sale for a fifth of the normal price. Current wine tip: Sebastiani winery. Overall, I think that the Grocery Outlet deserves 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on these factors: * Stocking food that would otherwise be in danger of being tossed out because of packaging changes, overstock, imperfections, or looming expiration dates, is part of a solution to the huge problem of food waste. Around 30% of food is wasted globally, contributing 8% of greenhouse gas emissions. * GO stores have been trending towards stocking more plant-based and organic food. * The Grocery Outlet stocks a good number of brands that rate well, ethically. For example, Miyoko's, Cascadian Farm, Dr. Bronner's soap, Treeline vegan cheese, Beyond Good chocolate, etc.) * The Grocery Outlet brings plant-based food (meat substitutes like Beyond Burgers) within reach for those on a budget who want to live a more sustainable life.

KitKat was a loved cat in San Francisco. All people who visited the area knew him. I go to the area often ever since a kid as a church my mom liked was just a few doors down from here. I had already dropped off a basket but apparently it was a 'danger' - his whole memorial and all the flowers. Perhaps it blocked the sidewalk or something. My idea was to make something that could get tied to the tree and not be a nuisance to anybody. Trader Joes has my cats favorite cat treats and I love getting him toys. I thought little KitKat would love the toys from here too. TJs didn't disappoint and I found garland for a wreath and some mice with feathers - cats love that sort of thing. I busted out some floral wire - something I've never done before in my life - but for little KitKat - I suppose I can go above and beyond - especially after his treatment from SF public works. TJs is a pleasant shopping experience as always and I enjoy my visits very much. My favorite TJs in near Granite bay/ Roseville where customers and workers have a wall of their pet photos by the pet section.
