I've been ordering Safeway delivery since it came out. I recently moved over here and this is my closest Safeway that does deliveries. And I've done many orders with them and have come to the conclusion that there are many that work here who play mind games. I've experienced mind games with the late night crew who shops and makes deliveries as well as the morning live chat. They gave me someone else's groceries and none of my own so I requested a redelivery on live chat which I waited like 20 minutes because they were talking to "internal".....and I waited all morning then noon hit so I figured it wasn't coming so I contacted live agent again and they said that redelivery wasnt happening and that ill have a refund in 5-7 days, that someone over there clicked for a refund the same day i talked with the first customer service person. So waiting more than 24 hours and now 5-7 days to be able to get that money back in order to replace an order is sooo ridiculous, im so low on money this is the only amount i can use right now so i have to wait. There are a few more encounters i had with their customer service that leads me to think they hate their customers and want to play mind games. read more

I enjoyed Safeway In Florida, so it was nice to know they're here as well. Some deal are fantastic at times like 12 packs of soda and 3 for 12 stuff peppers and mushrooms. My only gripe with this place is the cleanliness for a grocery store is probably the worst I've ever seen. read more

Very uncomfortable store to frequent. The staff is typically in a bad mood, in the middle of belittling/bullying others, or talking to each other when there's huge lines. Definitely not enough people scheduled to work the cash registers and there are often long lines that take forever. It's a shame the younger staff that is refreshing is barely there but the middle aged ladies with attitude problems are there on a regular basis. I am excited to see Costco coming into town so I have alternatives. read more

Safeway allows non service dogs in the store. Service dogs with training are easy to spot with their yellow jackets. Ive seen little dogs sitting in the child seat and bigger dogs walking around with their owners. This store sells food and non service dogs should not be allowed. I spoke to the manager and she said that theres no way to keep non service dogs out of the store. I looked up the municipal code and only trained service dogs are allowed. They have a yellow jacket on them that makes them easy to spot. Anxiety dogs are not recognized as service dogs. They call it "sanitary market" for a reason. I don't know if their cakes are made fresh daily, but I can tell you that they do a great job making what you want. Check out my pineapple cake. The inside was a white cake with a raspberry filling. It was amazing! Sooo good! The yellow frosting is whipped and very light. The green portion of the pineapple was buttercream. read more

Please make sure that you plug in ALL of your electric scooters for those with disabilities. I tried 3 different ones all ALL were dead. All grocery stores and stores like Target must do better at ensuring all have access to mobility aids that are charged. I left your store today with no groceries. It takes less than a minute for your staff to plug them in. I would have brought my scooter on my lift and used it had I known y'all don't plug them in to recharge throughout the day. Safeway / Albertsons is a west coast monopoly that was allowed to happen when Albertsons purchased Safeway. To avoid the existence of a monopoly they also had to purchase the Haggens stores closest to the location of a Safeway or Albertsons existing location so they could not price Haggens out in the market they served. That deal was not enough for Albertsons / Safeway and a court found they violated the agreement and found in favor of Haggens awarding millions in punitive damages, and ordering them to purchase the remaining Haggens stores as they could not be trusted. The monopoly was COMPLETE!!!!! Excactly as the corporation wanted in the first place. Now they are milking consumers for every single penny they can get from you. By the way. The self check lines simply take the job of a retail clerk and adds money to THIER profits. Do they discount your bill for working for them? They removed the quick 15 item line to increase there profits once again. When convenience store pricing is found at a large grocery store retailer they have crossed the line in my opinion to committing legal THEFT as their monopoly is complete. Currently it is $8.99 for a twelve pack of Coke. They play the game of buy 2 get 1 free. Or sometimes buy 2 get 2 free. Or even sometimes buy 2 and get 3 free!!!!!!! THEY ARE NOT FREE!!!!! Ya know like free free? Albertsons / Safeway is an overpriced monopoly just as they intended. BOYCOTT Albertsons / Safeway!!!!! ALL OF THEM By the way. Prior to the court ordering the sale of any additional locations of Haggens they had been a northwest founded family business since 1933. We spend a good portion of our life and income in this store and always have a great experience. Just the past Saturday we bought crab here (24 hours before we were going to enjoy it) and didn't think to check it since we've never had a quality issue before. When we unwrapped the crab it reeked and was so green and slimy. Not my go to shopping place, just because prices are better at Winco and Grocery Outlet, as well as Walmart and they aren't that much further. I do however like to run into Safeway for hot soup. My kids love the hot soup, especially with fall coming. I also buy a lot of the deli soups packaged and make them at home later. My kids also like the sandwiches in the deli area. It's nice to walk in and just grab a couple different varieties already made. The other nice feature in this Safeway is that they have a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice inside. I grabbed a bouquet of flowers for my daughter that had glitter all over them...they were really cute, and the lady wrapped them up in tissue and ribbon for me. The store is convenient, employees are friendly, they have a good Seahawks selection, and they get involved with the community and different fundraising events. read more

I've always had good shopping experiences here. What has prompted me to write was my new addiction to the hot wing bar. I was hungry one day and saw this new-ish feature. Hmmm, I thinks to myself, those look tasty. I tried the BBQ and Salt and Vinegar wings. OMG! The salt and vinegar wings are amazing! I don't know if they just came out but they were fantastic! This store by far has done the best job on them. I now go out of my way to get these for a snack or lunch. Their new sandwich selections are also much improved. Just today I bought 2.5 pounds of regular broccoli, which was on sale at $0.99, and I was charged for organic broccoli at $1.99. I didn't realize until I got home. We use their delivery service and for about 85 percent of the time it's pretty good. The other 15 percent would be then switching out things sometimes and my god don't do produce via delivery. Not sure what's going on with this Safeway lately?? The produce went from fresh to mediocre at best. I guess it depends on which day you chose to shop?? Instead of ordering produce in bulk orders where you focus on quantity, why not focus your produce order on quality and get less, ...but more often?? It seems as if they're trying to stretch the shelf life of their items... 1. The last couple times we went and picked up avocados, we were upset to discover they were all brown and moldy (within just a couple days of purchase). We got zero use out of 3 avocados purchased on this last visit. 2. The big pack of strawberries that we purchased were fine on the initial look at the store, but within 2-3 days in our refrigerator ...they started to wilt and get bruised skin. 3. We returned 4 packs of prosciutto just a couple weeks ago because of the rancid smell when the package was opened (we think that they must have not been refrigerated at one point of their storage because the expiration date was fine). 4. Lack of bread availability in the bakery section 5. Hot wing bar that is not monitored and replenished at peak hours that are consistent every week (Thursday and Fridays at and around 4:30-6:30 pm) for those that want to stop and pick up an easy dinner. Hopefully, Safeway can turn it around. Until then, a lot more trips to Hagen. read more

Covid standards are not followed. I've been trying to find a proper time to shop there since there is no social distancing, staff wear masks below nose at times and more and more customers are coming in without masks or below their nose. I have started shopping curbside instead because it's too risky to shop there. I did notify a staff member that walked by about the 2 customers without masks and asked for the staff member to please enforce the rules but they kept their head down and ignored me. I had to tell the customers they needed to wear masks. The complacently at this store has increased and I would not recommend shopping there at this time unless you do curbside. read more

Whenever I go to a Safeway somewhere else, I marvel at how everything is cleaner and the service is better. This place is hit & miss. The MOST annoying thing is when the person ringing up your order is very peppy & talkative to the customer ahead of you but says barely 4 sentences to you. This is very frustrating. I prefer the human interaction, but if this is how folks are, I'll just use the self check. Also, they don't keep agreements made at hiring then get upset when the employee ha issues due to agreements being broken. (My roommate worked here & is a single parent). read more
